I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

First off, there couldn't have been a better way to start our fall trip than to have you all waiting for us! Thanks again for taking the time to hang out at the Contempo Cafe while we were so slowly making our way there!

Yeehaw Bob was a hoot! I can see why he's so skinny! He is a ball of energy. That was fun and had been on our to-do list as well. My favorite part of his show when when he got to playing and the piano took off as well. Haha!!

I think Bella would be right down in the front now. Her shyness has worn off!

Love all those snack pictures as I finish my breakfast and have a coffee.

I hope you have settled back into school, thanks for the updates on FB and on here, I love my Disney minutes.

I love POR, thanks for the pictures. Bob has been a longtime memory for us. My dad really likes his show, I remember way back watching him with him. Maybe we can get there in June with my parents. I would love a stay there again, and we could as a party of five work there. It is still one of my favorite places to stay in Walt Disney World.

I just packed an extra empty duffle bag in the bottom of my suitcase so I can bring home those cushions! The trouble will be deciding which ones I want! ;) Do you (or any other helpful dis-ers) happen to recall the price of them? Thanks for more great shopping pictures MeMom! You are a girl after my own heart!:thumbsup2:goodvibes

We had a long discussion about whether or not we could stay out on the town so late waiting for the likes of you two. ;) As you saw, Brooklynn was the only one who copped out on you.

Bob can wear me out just watching him!

Bella was quite the socialite on this trip. ::yes::

I loved looking at your pictures of New Fantasyland! Enjoyed the pictures of POFQ as well.

Glad you enjoyed them. Does seeing pictures make you homesick still? We're glad we got to see your dad Saturday morning. :)

Love all those snack pictures as I finish my breakfast and have a coffee.

Which bag o' sugar would you choose? I'd probably be going for the chocolate almonds.

I love going shopping with you MeMom, thanks!

You are welcome. I have a ton of new shopping pictures from this trip, too.

Yep, settled back in to real life until March. Then I get to escape again. :cool1:

I want to stay at POR, too. I really wanted to book it for March, but since I'm trying to be extremely frugal so that we can go in December, and since I am adding Beach Club to my 'Stayed At' list, I just booked our Pop home again for the last three nights.

Even when I can get away with one suitcase, I pack two and use one for food. The food gets eaten, or at least some of it does, making way for souvenirs. The last several trips, though, I have not bought much at all. This time I bought a Rainforest Animals book, a small bag of plastic rainforest animals, and four pins.

Sorry, I don't remember the price of the pillows, but I bet you could post on FB to Brook or others who are down there now.

Just got caught up! School has been crazy lately.
Sounds like the October trip was magical. So jealous you got to see the new FL the day it opened. I am so excited to see it one month from tomorrow.
Bob has been on my list for a while now. I think I'll have a no park night during Spring Break, so it would work out then. Spring Break is just in the pre-planning stage. I need to go tour colleges and they're by Orlando, so we'll either do a few days at Disney, the Disney WPs, or Universal.

I want to say the pillow is $22. My sister bought one in August and it was around $18 with the 20% discount. The pillow has since become mine. :goodvibes

Hi Memom!
It's been quite awhile since I've checked in, so I need to catch back up. In the mean time I've been (stalkerishly :rolleyes1) reading all your old reports. I feel like I know your family and I got to watch Brooklynn and Bella grow up in a couple months' time. I just wanted to say that you all seem like the best people and it's been so nice getting to know you (again, stalkerishly) and living vicariously through your adventures until our next trip after Christmas. Looking forward to reading more!

Katy

Loving the trip report as usual. Thank you for taking the time to write it.!:thumbsup2

Looking forward, as ever, to more.

KIM

p.s. yeehaw bob, on the to do list....still

School and crazy do so often go together, don't they?

It's fun to think about you doing your college visiting. This is an exciting time in your life, albeit maybe a little nerve-wracking and scary at moments.

I was going to guess $24.99.

Well, just come on out of stalkerdom and make your home in DIStown. :thumbsup2

I hav a teacher friend who is going right after Christmas. I am hoping the weather is perfect and Disney World is at peak magic while she has there, because she has not been in many years, and she is so excited about this.

Jill will have to load the next set of pictures. Thank heavens she put them on her computer when Brooklynn and I returned, because for some reason, I can't find the SD card of the last part of the trip. I know I have it somewhere, but it appears that I have temporarily hidden it. ;) I have probably 15 SD cards from 2010, 2011, 2012, but I can't find that one!

I would love some of those pillows.

I think they will be very popular - a nice way to put a subtle touch of Disney in a person's home. ::yes::

Glad to see I am not pages & pages behind.

Aw love seeing the POFQ pictures & Yeehaw Bob. We saw him last Oct. for the first time & what a great show he puts on!! Looks like a great meet:thumbsup2.

I love those little pillows!! I think a few may need to come home with me next year. We booked a trip through Lesley (Tim&Lesley) for Oct. 4th through the 11th for Food & Wine next year. Got a great discount & staying at BC!! Cannot wait!!

If you insist! I am also hoping for good weather and extra magic this time. Our last trip was in early December when we only had our little girl, Faith. All of us got sick right at the start of the trip and it seemed to rain a lot, so it was less than magical. This time we're bringing Connonr for his first trip and my MIL is coming along. We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge Villas, though, so right there is already a boost to the magic! :dance3:

Agreed! I think I might like those pillows for my living room for that reason. My list keeps growing whenever you post shopping pictures! I just have to win the lottery so I can bring it all home. :rotfl:

me, too, for Yeehaw Bob, never heard of him, and never been to POR or the other resort in twentysomething trips to WDW! Deb

More shopping! I named a post in your honor on my DLRP TR, because I took some shopping pictures. :lmao: However, mine are definitely not as detailed as yours.

I think I'm an update behind or so, but I might have paid close attention to the price of those pillows...
$22.95 plus tax. Minus my DVC discount. I'm not telling which one might have come home with me...you'll have to visit my TR (whenever I start it). ;)

ETA - Okay all caught up! Wish I'd seen some of those candy boxes too - I got a couple, but I would have loved the Pinocchio one and the Mood chocolate!

It all looks very cool. The only negative we saw is that the queue to see Ariel is going to get very hot in the summer. As you wind around through the cave, there is no air circulating, and even on our October morning, it got warm and stuffy. There are some cool light fixtures that could have easily been made into fans that would have helped. Other than that negative, everything else was wonderful.

We had not met Gaston before. We had seen pictures of him meeting and greeting, but we had not met him before this.

The t-shirts were sewn by a sweet DIS friend. Thanks, Cathy!

Glad you are enjoying the pictures. I have about 2400 new ones to share in the future.

We have made many new friends through the DIS. ::yes::

We heard from several cast members that they had to sign up to see it in a couple of weeks. They acted pretty jealous that we had gotten to see it before them. ;)

I will have to look at the Vero dates. It's the week that includes the late teens of June. Then we're going to Dollywood on that Saturday for another hopefully big DIS meet.

We are so glad you came over to the bus stop! :cool1: Hope you had a great time. The weather was wonderful wasn't it? :thumbsup2 Real world starts for me this morning. :crazy2:

You will like it. On the day we were there, it was spotlessly clean and smelled brand new. It was definitely cool to be there and see it all before we left.

I told Jill that we need to have to have a Little Mermaid Christmas theme, since this has been the Year of Ariel - Sophie's nursery, our Art of Animation room, Bella's birthday, and now getting to ride the ride and see Ariel back under the sea again. ::yes::

Your welcome...any time. I loved seeing you all in the new FL!!!! So exciting!!!!!
