I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

I so wish we had a Rainforest Cafe close to us. I love that place. I also love your friend's house. I would not love to have to clean it. You are quite welcome for the gift cards. I am happy that she was able to use them. I can't wait to see them in their costumes.

I was very glad to see that it came back when the mall opened back up. It gives us a little Disney fix now and then. :)

She was thrilled to put them on her payment. Bella made a perfect little Tinkerbell, as you might be able to picture in your mind, but she kept being drawn to the Rapunzel dress. In the switch from Tink to Reepunzel, Jill also saved some money, because now Sophie can wear the Tinkerbell outfit she has had since Brooklynn was a baby.

Looks like it was a fun weekend!! And, wow, just 2 weeks until your trip?!? :yay: I'm so excited for you guys to have an opportunity to relax and enjoy the magic after all the stress. And I cannot wait to hear all about the fun you will have introducing Princess Sophie to WDW! :wizard:

I only have nine days of school left. Our students are out on the 5th, so I am going to have all of my grades in and paperwork done so that I can leave from school on the 4th to go to AL. We're flying out the morning of the 5th.

Yay for a fun weekend!! So glad to see that Jill is feeling better - just in time for your trip!! :goodvibes

Another two weeks should definitely see her with more and more energy, but we'll still be going slowly.

I am drinking my morning coffee out of my AKL mug this morning with an apple fritter on the side. I almost went and changed mugs just so I could take a picture for you. :lmao:

What a fun time at the mall and Rainforest Cafe! So neat to surprise Jill like that.

It's been a long time since we saw a picture of all three of your kids -- how are Trent and Drew these days?

I was just thinking of apple goodies from Apple Barn the other day, but I was told that it didn't come back when the mall reopened.

We don't go to the mall often, but when we eat at or just visit the gift shop at Rainforest, take a trip to the Disney Store, and get a treat at Rocky Mountain Fudge, we feel like we've had a little Disney fix.

Trent and Drew are fine. They stay very busy with work and girls and play. Trent is helping to coach a 7th/8th grade football team, and Drew spends his spare time working on his motorcycle. He's also been helping set up one of the haunted houses around here. I think they might both be going on the Disney Christmas 2013 trip.

Ok, you inspired me to bake this morning.

Not really (but kinda), I was perusing my cookbooks yesterday figuring out what to make for gourmet club tomorrow night which I am hosting. Stumbled across a yummy looking muffin recipe. Didn't have all-bran, which it called for, but the image stuck with me and this morning I decided to try them anyways, substituting pumpkin flax granola.

Yum!

That is exactly what I wanted with my request! I wanted to see the official mug in our DIStown homes - with special treats accompanying. :thumbsup2 Your picture is lovely!

I'm glad that y'all got to have some family time. Your disney trip will be here before you know it. Is it an all girls trip this time?

Filled with lunch, we walked around Coronado for a few minutes. This was John's first visit there. This might be where they stay when they end up going with his parents. They really don't know when that is going to happen. John's mom brings it, but then drops it, but has now recently come up with a 40th anniversary trip she wants to plan for next year, so who knows is there really will be a Disney in-law trip after all. It's all been so back and forth, and Jill doesn't feel like it is her place to say they can't pay for two trips. Time will tell.

Anyway, here is a little touch of CSR.

My, what big teef you have!

A gift shop like this has some different things than maybe a Pop or an All-Star. This is nice for the businessman who has forgotten part of his wardrobe.

Remember to send some magic to those at home.

Goofy, meet Goofy.

I'm thinking Sophie would sure look cute in that little seersucker outfit.

Don't guess I'll ever have a grandson to buy blue things for, but that's okay. I have three incredible girls who will keep my pocketbook busy! ;)

I'm glad that y'all got to have some family time. Your disney trip will be here before you know it. Is it an all girls trip this time?

The trip started out to be Jill's family going with friends of theirs in AL. After a few months of them talking and planning, Jill asked me if I would like to go, and you know the answer to that! That gives us one adult per child in our family, which is nice. Jill will have Sophie, John will help Brooklynn when she needs it, which is not much these days, so she's easy, and I will try to keep up with Bella. Also, it gives the two young couples a night to go out to enjoy Kona one night while I stay in with the 5 girls. Also, just in the past two weeks, Brandy has talked Sloan into a few days with the two older boys, so they will be there, too. Jill and I will take Carson and Parker with us one night so that Brandy and Sloan can have a date night, too. Dawn is keeping Micah at home, because Brandy doesn't like taking really little ones to WDW. She says he'll be ready for next year's trip.

That's it for now. Have a beautiful Sunday afternoon, all! I got up just before 4 with a bad headache. I got ready for church, but then decided to lay back down. I remember coming in and out of sleep as I heard people stirring around, but I didn't actually wake up completely until 10:02. If you know me, you know that was one killer headache to keep me in bed until that time! It's gone now, thank heavens. I plan to pull my suitcase out in a little while and start throwing some things in it. :)

Wow that must have been a bad headache. I hope it is better and stays away! Just caught up again. Missed all last week. A week of happiness and sadness and lots of work around here. I have a new niece and a friend lost her husband to cancer. It has been inspiring to see how everyone at my school has gathered around her and her family. Then a quick ER visit last night for Louie when he thought he could fly off my headboard.Thank Goodness he was fine but it was good to have the Dr confirm that. All in all an exhausting week. It has been nice to sit around today and catch up.

12 more days until our quick weekend trip. I think our plans are drive up to POP 10/5 do the halloween party that night (I think I have decided to be Minnie mouse in her witch costume), epcot the next day (surprising my little man with a coral reef lunch) and then Cape May for breakfast on sunday and Dtn disney stop before we leave for home. Busy weekend. Hope we can catch up a some point! I will PM you my number before we leave :0)

Love the shopping at AK. Glad to hear you had a great time with your girls. I love going to Rainforest for a nice Disney fix. What a cute bunch of kids. Bella looks exactly like a little girl I know from the preschool I volunteered at this past summer. I haven't been to Coronado in forever. LOVE the iPhone cases!

I feel like I am always trying to keep up with the DIS lately! I love it so much but sometimes it's a lot of work! Anyways... all caught up here & enjoying your tour of Coronado Springs. We may have to check out the Pepper Market sometime. :thumbsup2 Looks like a little something for everyone.

Don't guess I'll ever have a grandson to buy blue things for, but that's okay. I have three incredible girls who will keep my pocketbook busy! ;)

Isn't there any possibility at all of Trent or Drew eventually meeting someone, marrying and having kids?

Catching up... I enjoyed all of your Animal Kingdom pictures! And it looks like you had a great weekend! I'm with you on the Mickey head mug!

Just seeing this. We went to the mall to eat with our cousins. Doing that and making a stop at Build a Bear and the Disney Store was more than Jill needed to do. She was worn out. She wanted to check out some other stores, but there was no way. We might try again for a short time tomorrow, but they have to go back to AL early for a party in the afternoon. We'll try to plan a meet when she gets back to 'normal'. ::yes::

It sounds like you all had a great weekend. I hope Jill got to rest some today. She is super woman:worship:

Those pictures of the yummy food at Pepper Market were torture for me....I'm doing a 7-day detox cleanse diet (something Anna's got me on but I really do see the point) of fruits and veggies only. I'm on day 5 right now and I'm CRAVING carbs and meat! I can't wait for some eggs, bacon and a big buttery biscuit on Wednesday morning! After that I'll start eating sensibly again (as to not undo all this "good") but I have to at least indulge in that!

Don't guess I'll ever have a grandson to buy blue things for, but that's okay. I have three incredible girls who will keep my pocketbook busy! ;)

What about Trent and Drew? If it makes you feel better, if one (or both) of them have said they don't want kids, just know that Ray and I didn't either. I was 25 when we got married and we didn't decide we wanted kids until I was 32. And I didn't have Seth until I was 34. So there's hope! ;)

Yikes! Sounds like a horrible headache to put you back in bed that late. I'm glad you woke up feeling better.

Sooooo,
If there is no in-law trip in Feb. will the girls be coming along in March? We will have the space during your time with us if it's a yes!:goodvibes

Oh, I brought back both of those dressed up Minnies and another dressed as Tink.
I was thinking they would be cute on a bulletin board with a caption like "you can be anything you dream of".

I can't wait to walk into that lobby in 31 days! :hyper:

The gift shop looks huge too! I can definitely do some damage in there! And I bet Sophie would look super cute in the seersucker outfit! :) I think my niece Mia would look cute in the little Minnie-adjective t-shirt! Auntie may have to pick that up for her!

I'm glad your headache went away. I hope you were able to enjoy your Sunday!

I totally forgot! I took a picture on my way to work today that I thought might make you guys chuckle. The exit that I take to get to my store (on Wonderland Road) will be closed next week and this is the sign that went up on Friday:

Yeah, I don't know what that headacher was all about. It was powerful, but it disappeared quickly.

So glad Louie is fine. I spent many hours in hospitals with my boys, so you might just go ahead and brace yourself for the future.

We will see you the 5th, 6th, or 7th before you leave. ::yes::

We are lucky to have a Rainforest here. :thumbsup2 They are kind of spread out around the country.

Trent was looking at phone cases last night, but he was looking at Florida Gator ones, definitely not Mickey ones.

Happy Birthday, Amy!

There were many things to choose from at Pepper Market. All of us agree that we will return sometime.

Isn't there any possibility at all of Trent or Drew eventually meeting someone, marrying and having kids?

I doubt it. Drew is not interested in kids at all. He dates casually, but nothing serious. He's kind of immature, too, so if he does anything, it will be a looooong while. Trent just turned 28, but he's going on 60. He's so set in his ways that he reminds me of an old man. The biggest thing with him is that the second a girl starts to get possessive, it drives him crazy. To me, it's kind of natural for a girl to get somewhat possessive when you have been dating her exclusively for a while, but whenever one starts questioning where he has been or who he was with, he gets so aggravated and says he's not answering to someone the rest of his life. Well, if that is the way he feels, I can't see him ever getting married. It's really, really sad to me, because he would be a great dad. He's good with kids, and always has been. I guess he'll just have to be happy being an uncle the rest of his life.

Catching up... I enjoyed all of your Animal Kingdom pictures! And it looks like you had a great weekend! I'm with you on the Mickey head mug!

We did have a nice weekend. I have nine busy days of school, and then I am off!!!

It sounds like you all had a great weekend. I hope Jill got to rest some today. She is super woman

I think she has discovered that even a super woman has to take it easy sometimes, and this is definitely one of those times.

Those pictures of the yummy food at Pepper Market were torture for me....I'm doing a 7-day detox cleanse diet (something Anna's got me on but I really do see the point) of fruits and veggies only. Drew may grow up someday, but it will be a long time. He does well to take care of himself, much less someone else. Trent is just a pain when it comes to girls. He brings perfectly sweet, cute girls into the picture, but whenever they start acting like they have some vested interest in him, he starts backing away. It may be them to some degree, but I think he gets too aggravated too fast. Being a girl, I guess I remember being a bit possessive when I liked someone, so I more see the girl's point. He takes one little question as that they are 'grilling' him, and he gets really annoyed. So, if he continues to be that way, I just don't see him ever getting married. I think your wife might have the right to ask questions now and then. ;) And it's not that he is even doing anything he needs to hide. He just doesn't like possessiveness and questions, especially when he's tired from work. It's sad to me, because I really don't ever see Jill's girls having first cousins from my side or Jill getting to be an aunt from our side. :( I am glad they have all of the little boy cousins to offset that a bit. :goodvibes

I will add, in his defense and to be fair to him, he has had a couple that went overboard in the possessive department, so I guess when he senses one heading toward that, he just puts on the brakes very quickly so that it doesn't get out of hand. I think that because it's very hard for him to tolerate a normal level of possessiveness and questioning, and because obviously some of that is going to be present in a relationship, it's going to be a miracle if he can have a relationship.

Trent would be interested in your eating plan. He's big into all things healthy.

I'll let you know what happens with March. Somebody is going to have to verify things with John's mom. She's the one who has been insisting on this trip, and for some reason it can't be with her daughter's family, who has gone to WDW and is planning to go to Disneyland. It has to be with John's family. :crazy2:

There were several character shirts like that Minnie one. I think Donald was one.

I really just hung out at home all day. I had errands I had planned to do after church, but I'll do those after school today.

I totally forgot! I took a picture on my way to work today that I thought might make you guys chuckle. The exit that I take to get to my store (on Wonderland Road) will be closed next week and this is the sign that went up on Friday:

Poor Alice!:lmao:

Cute. I would have had an immediate Disney thought, too.

CSR is such a nice resort! I have eaten at their breakfast buffet, which I think is a great value!, but never the lunch buffet. Looks yummy!

So glad you guys had a nice evening at the Rainforest cafe, looks like all the kids (and adults!) had a blast!

I also wouldn't count Trent out yet, I was much the same way, swearing up and down that I would never get married, have kids, etc. It was all about career, career, career! I broke up with a lot of perfect nice guys, just because I thought they were getting too attached and taking up too much of my time.

Well, all that changed when I turned 27 and met my DH. All of a sudden being tied down to one guy didn't seem so bad. ;) Trent just needs to meet the right girl, maybe then his whole perspective will change like mine did. He is still really young, lots of people don't really start thinking about settling down until they are in their 30's anyway.

I got a good chuckle out of Bella examining the donkey's teeth! :rotfl:

She was checking him out, for sure. She was fascinated with the puppets for a long time, and wanted to buy some of those, but we remained puppetless when we left. You can't take home everything!

We've never had the breakfast buffet at CSR, so we need to try that. There are so many, many, many different eateries around WDW, and we are trying to get to each of them at least once. We have some favorites we've done more than once, of course. It's going to take a lot of trips to get to all of them. :woohoo:

If Trent gets married and has kids, then I will be very happy, but I just don't see it anywhere in the near future, and I really don't hold out much hope any more. By the time he does, if he does, it'll be too late for me to see those grandchildren grow up, anyway, so it does make me sad in more ways than one - for him and for me. No girl is going to be perfect, and I think that's what he wants. On the road to 'perfect', I think he's going to end up with no one. :worried:

On a happier note, I am going to a place where I can escape sadness and work and bills soon - where I can just do a lot of laughing and smiling and being happy. Jill told me this morning that two weeks from today, we'll be eating at Tusker House in the morning and going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at night. That will be a good day! :cool1:

CSR is so pretty! Even in the rain. ;)

I'm glad you had such a nice weekend MeMom, filled with lots of family and friends. :goodvibes Those are the best ones!

Well, I hope he eventually finds the "right" girl to fit his ways! :rotfl: I think girls are just naturally a little possessive too. I have Ray on a long leash b/c we are very different people, but there's still a leash there! Trent's history with exes does play into it some too, I'm sure. Maybe she's out there and he will meet her today! I hope he's not dating anyone right now that I just made very mad!

The diet I'm on is the detox portion of TLS Slim program. Anna is a coach on the program and it really does work. The part I'm doing is just to sort of cleanse and get you re-started to start eating right. Here's the website in case he's interested:

http://www.transitionslifestyle.com/index.cfm?action=main.tHome

He'd die from not having protein for 7 days, I'm sure!
