I need to get over to Walgreen tomorrow. They always have such cute Disney decorations. I think we have Mickey Halloween lights in one of the purple lockers. Decorating our balcony at Bay Lake will be a must in just under 4 weeks!
If you decide to head to Magic Kingdom on that last day, you could always come to our place if you need a place to hang your hats until it's time to go...
Wouldn't it be nice if DME could just pick you up at Bay Lake?

I can spin- dumbo,astro orbitor- but not tight spins- teacups, mission space. We did mission space on its official opening...it was not pretty.

It looks like a gorgeous day in Knoxville and UT is holding on to that lead...hope Trent and his friends had a great day !

Since I haven't ridden it as the Great Goofini Coaster, I need to do that in October. I'm sure Brooklynn will indulge me a ride. For whatever reason, I wasn't in the mood to ride that June night, or maybe I just decided to roam around and get those Casey's pictures while John and the girls were riding. I don't remember.

I'd love to experience Mission:Space if I could sit on the end with a side door open. I think that is the way those Sum of all Thrills things are, so I might actually try that sometime.

Trent is a long-time Gator fan. Most of the people he was with are UT fans. I haven't talked to him since the game, so I don't know if he is alive.

I've never seen that hidden Mickey either. Something new to look for.

I love all the learning opportunities at Disney parks, especially when the kids don't realize they are learning.

The educational department in Animal Kingdom would be my ideal Disney job. I think I would love going to work - like I used to love going to school.

Pooh clock at consignment sale!! I think I will go back and get it!! They also had some Tigger, Rabbit, Eeyore and some other beanies which I didn't get.

You know, I have an Eeyore alarm clock (electric) that I have had for I bet twenty years! Still works just fine. (Hope I didn't jinx it, now.)

It's always fun to see Disney things in the real world. The scarecrow is cute.

We love walking the trails at AK. I take more pictures there than any other park.

I got a cute Mickey & Miinie head light up Halloween decoration at Walgreens this week. I have it on right now. I love those scarecrow decorations though & they were not at Walgreens so I will need to check CVS.

I would like to take some good video of all the animals and bring it back to show my students. They would love it. We have taken Jill's regular video camera before, but with the video feature on the cameras, we never seem to get it out. I think it would be better than camera video, though, so I need to do it.

As long as they are happy gorillas and I am on the safe path, I can watch them for a long time! Sometimes I think it would be cool just to walk up to one of those big silverbacks and just tell him how awesome looking he is. I think that is something I will never follow through with, however.

Of course, I thought of you when I put those pictures on. As a matter of fact, I almost sent you a text telling you to come and see, since I know you don't get here too often.

We tried to get picked up at a different spot one day when we were with our cousins, but they said they didn't have room on that bus. That's probably the standard answer. Besides that, we're having the 1:30 Pop Century meet, so it's all good. If we stay, we can get a late check-out, which will make it 12 instead of 11. If we go to a park, it won't matter.

It will be fun to decorate you BLT balcony. Many people will get smiles from that.

The one set of Halloween lights I bought at Disney World did not work. Walgreens does have cute Disney things. I have gotten a few things from there through the years.

We certainly do enjoy saying that.
And we enjoy saying 'this month' even more, so on October 1, you may hear us shouting that from down here in the south.

The meerkats are a favorite of the girls both in Animal Kingdom and at Nashville Zoo.

We've had pretty good luck with seeing gorillas. They are fun to watch.

I have done the same - couldn't remember if I had something or not. I do that with Disney pins a lot, since I look at so many of them.

They are so much alike. They move their bodies the same. Same creature as I have at home, only about eighty times bigger.

Good idea. Mine is a variety from all the parks, but you could definitely get enough pics just from the safari and trails.

Jill and I have said that we are going to make our own calendars for several years, but we have yet to do it. It's not for lack of pictures. We just never take time to do it, but I wish we would, because I know we would enjoy them all year long. We used to get the official Disney Parks ones, but they started getting really poor in picture quality, so we stopped.
