Sunday night shopping with you on a rainy evening was fun. Praying for Jill and Sophie.
We had off and on rain yesterday, too. It wasn't as bad as we had expected, though, as bad storms were predicted, so I was thankful for that.
Thanks for your prayers.
It looks like I am catching up at a good time!
I love that you went to HS instead of turning in. I guess picking the closest park is a good strategy. Or one could play bus roulette. I might just get stuck on a bench as I wouldn't be able to decide on a park!
Your room looks terrific! I'll be on the lookout for anything that can be added.
My SIL went into my FIL's attic looking for the fashion plates toy that was popular when she and I were little (ladies, you have to remember those. You had plastic plates that you "rubbed" to color in). Well, she didn't find them, but she brought legos and some other cool light-bright type toy. I'm thinking I should go up there and find those Old Maid cards that dh said he also had. (didn't we all?)
I hope you do get to move closer to the girls in the next five or so years. Luckily, you still find a way to get a lot of time with them!
Love the shopping pictures; it makes me want to fill the Disney.com shopping cart (and not hit submit) too!
Good luck for your first full week!
Prayers for Jill and Sophie. Can't wait for her to introduce herself!
Yes, we have had many sets of rubbing plates.
I don't like to go more than two weeks without seeing the girls. It works out pretty well with them coming here some and me going there some. They always stop here when they are traveling back and forth to KY, too. I start having some serious withdrawal issues when I have to go three weeks.
I think we are all ready to meet Sophie!
Prayers and

being sent for your girls. I remember being pregnant with my son in June and July and I was miserable. It was a really hot summer and my poor feet were swollen and HUGE! They reminded me of a elephants feet. I hope Jill can hang in for a few more weeks. Looking forward to seeing the baby pics tho
Jill has breezed through the first two pregnancies with no issues, so this little problem is just kind of annoying to her. The timing of her boss having to be out on medical leave has been really hard on her, but it couldn't be helped - her boss had to have this surgery immediately. The swelling feet hurt, of course, and she feels like she's getting nothing accomplished at night because she is so tired.
Great update and pics.
I love that kid name key chain.
I see nothing wrong with sitting on the floor of a store. They do it all the time at Barnes & Noble.
Will be thinking of you all this week.
I think Jill was catching everyone up on FB, maybe.
I finally made it and I'm all caught up! I feel that if I say I will stay current with your report I will jinx it, as I have done with your last several reports.
Jill and Sophie have been on my thoughts and will continue to be so, even though I don't chime in much. I have a cousin and a sister in law due within the next 2.5 weeks; I know how miserable they have been in this heat and how ready they are to be done. I can assume Jill is feeling the same way!
I love what you did with your classroom, especially the antics of the army men! And I fully support a Dis meet in Marceline sometime.
Have a good first full week at school!
It will feel like a long week, for sure. It is hard getting kids back into school mode. They are used to staying up late, sleeping late, watching a lot of TV, eating more snacks throughout the day, etc. Getting into a routine and having to stay focused is not easy for students or teachers.
And naturally, we started doing Running Records testing TODAY.
Thinking about you Jill and Spohie and hopefully an early but safe delivery.
Praying for Jill and Sophie Kate. Oh and shopping a little too.
Prayers are with you all. May God Bless you
Thinking of you Jill, and sending some virtual hugs
Thanks, everyone! All of those good vibes should help my girl get through this for the next little bit. She is gonig to have the sonogram done tomorrow, so we will know more soon.
Poor Jill! I remember those last frustrating weeks of ginormousness. I got big really fast, too, with all that foot swelling, heat intolerance & and lower energy. I was funny, too, not realizing how big I was. I'd turn sideways to let someone pass - but I was wider that way! I'd open doors into myself - Where'd that huge belly come from that got in the way? Our little squirt had to come early, and she was a wee thing, but strong & healthy. Praying that Sophie is, too!
Jill would like to try to make it until the 22nd or 23rd, so if the doctor okays that, I think that is what she would rather do. It will all depend on what the doctor says tomorrow. I have no doubt that Sophie will be healthy. I just don't want her to get really big and cause problems for herself or Jill.
