I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

Poor Jill! I remember those last frustrating weeks of ginormousness. I got big really fast, too, with all that foot swelling, heat intolerance & and lower energy. I was funny, too, not realizing how big I was. I'd turn sideways to let someone pass - but I was wider that way! :lmao: I'd open doors into myself - Where'd that huge belly come from that got in the way? Our little squirt had to come early, and she was a wee thing, but strong & healthy. Praying that Sophie is, too!

Jill you all are in my thoughts and prayers. I cannot imagine being pregnant in this heat. Both times I was pregnant & ready to deliver it was Winter time & I still had swelling. I will be waiting to hear how you make out on Friday.

Oh I'm really liking all these shops at DHS! I totally could go for any of those shirts, especially the Tweedle Dum one. I agree, $25 for five little vehicles you may not use all that often? But it is cool to have your own Disney bus nearby haha Totally getting the monorail bumper sticker next time I'll be there since I'll have a car!

I hope Jill is alright along with little Sophie. Sending my thoughts and prayers.

Rainy day shopping at DHS is always fun!

Lots of thoughts and prayers for you, Jill! Not too much longer before Sophie Kate makes her appearance. :goodvibes

Hugs & prayers to Jill & Ms Sophie! I'll be thinking about you all. :)

To all my teacher buddies, have a great start to the year!!

Sorry I have been MIA lately. Brooklynn started school on Thursday. My boss has been out in medical leave since I got back from Disney so I have been living at the school the past month trying to prepare for the upcoming school year and planning our annual 2 day teacher training conference.

For those of you not on Facebook or those who missed my status update on Friday, Sophie Kate has thrown us a curve ball. I have been measuring about two weeks ahead for the past month or so. Not at all unusual. When I went to the doctor for my 32 week check up I was measuring 35 weeks ahead. When I went in Friday for my 34 week check up I am measuring 43 weeks. So my doctor has scheduled an ultrasound to measure her and make sure everything is developed. At that point we will make a decision about what to do next.

I feel fine just ginormous. It is hot and I get frustrated that I can't do what I normally do without being out of breath or having to sit down. It will all be over soon, but until then prayers abs thoughts on our behalf are definitely appreciated.

If it's any consolation, I measured bigger with each kid, because your body stretches out. As long as both of you are healthy, don't let the doctors freak you out about numbers. More babies (over time) = more belly.
I've been pregnant into Aug. THREE TIMES. I feel your pain!

Prayers going up for Jill and Sophie. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers the next several weeks.

Wow, it was really raining. I don't think I have ever seen the streets that empty.

Great shopping pictures! I have that sticker for your cars about my other car being a monorail! Love it!

Oh Jill  Best wishes, warm thoughts and lots of prayers for you and your family and your newest baby girl.

Shops are definitely my favourite place to wait out a Disney rain storm!:thumbsup2 Playing Disney Candyland would definitely be a good way to wait it out too! I bet you all had fun playing!

Lots of good thoughts for you Jill, Remember the BEST thing you can do for your family is take it s-l-o-w! A healthy mom and baby is the most important thing on the to-do list!

Well, I hate that it was raining so much that morning, but at least we got some great shopping pictures out of the deal! :thumbsup2

Jill, my 2nd baby was born on September 19th, so I know all too well how miserable you are being huge in the middle of summer when it's so hot. Prayers for you and Sophie!

Katie gave me that "my other car is a monorail" decal some time ago. I can't remember if it was a Christmas or birthday package or what, but I've had it for a while. I liked it so much I can't bring myself to put it on my car, so it's on my Disney wall.

Lots and lots of good thoughts for Jill and Sophie Kate!

All caught up again!

Happy very belated birthday MeMom! Sorry I'm so late! We've been having internet problems at home, so between that, school, and getting ready to go to Vermont, I haven't been able to get on the DIS.

I saw the Sophie update. I'll definitely be thinking about Jill and Sophie! We leave for Vermont on Saturday, and I don't have internet access at the lake but I can usually pick up some wi-fi on my phone, so I'll try to check in here and on facebook for updates while I'm gone!

We have a baby arriving in our family soon too. One of my second cousins is having a little boy, due on September 6th :) We just went to her baby shower on Saturday.

Just catching up after being out of town last week.

Thoughts and prayers going out to Jill and Sophie.

Thoughts and hugs going out to Jill. I know it's not likely, but I do hope things slow down for you and you are able to squeeze some rest in before Sophie comes!

MeMom, I hope your week started out okay and continues that way with your new class. I don't have much time left before I have to report back. We have many teacher workdays first though (7) as our kids don't come back until after Labor Day. I would love a more balanced calendar with longer breaks at different times of the year but the tourism industry around here pumps a lot of money into the "after Labor Day" pot.

I remember that Sunday all too well. We were at Epcot that day. At first, it was tolerable but by afternoon when we went over to World Showcase it was pouring down. We spent quite a bit of time in the Japanese store!

Thoughts and prayers with Jill and Sophie. Praying that everything goes great and that Jill is feeling better. All 3 of my kids were summer babies. The girls were born in late June but Brent came in late August. I was my biggest and most swollen for him.

I enjoyed the shopping pictures from the last update. I found a shirt I thought DH might like and had to show it to him. With all that shopping you're very restrained to walk out with only something for Bella.

Danielle start school on Wednesday so we're all busy getting ready for school too.

Very cool that you have been to Marceline
Thanks!

Jill looked at some pillows while we were there, but I don't think she bought any for her. She got one for Sophie's room, though.
Very cool!

-I can't believe you guys are back to school already! I don't move back into my dorm till September 2nd, and classes don't start till September 6th for me!
-I have been dying to get my hands on that yellow TSM shirt!
-I don't think it is, but I'll give Jill a break since she's pregnant :)
-Wow! Sophie Kate definitely threw you all a curveball!!

Sunday night shopping with you on a rainy evening was fun. Praying for Jill and Sophie.

We had off and on rain yesterday, too. It wasn't as bad as we had expected, though, as bad storms were predicted, so I was thankful for that.

Thanks for your prayers.

It looks like I am catching up at a good time!

I love that you went to HS instead of turning in. I guess picking the closest park is a good strategy. Or one could play bus roulette. I might just get stuck on a bench as I wouldn't be able to decide on a park!

Your room looks terrific! I'll be on the lookout for anything that can be added.

My SIL went into my FIL's attic looking for the fashion plates toy that was popular when she and I were little (ladies, you have to remember those. You had plastic plates that you "rubbed" to color in). Well, she didn't find them, but she brought legos and some other cool light-bright type toy. I'm thinking I should go up there and find those Old Maid cards that dh said he also had. (didn't we all?)

I hope you do get to move closer to the girls in the next five or so years. Luckily, you still find a way to get a lot of time with them!

Love the shopping pictures; it makes me want to fill the Disney.com shopping cart (and not hit submit) too!

Good luck for your first full week!

Prayers for Jill and Sophie. Can't wait for her to introduce herself!

Yes, we have had many sets of rubbing plates. ::yes::

I don't like to go more than two weeks without seeing the girls. It works out pretty well with them coming here some and me going there some. They always stop here when they are traveling back and forth to KY, too. I start having some serious withdrawal issues when I have to go three weeks. ;)

I think we are all ready to meet Sophie! :cool1:

Prayers and pixiedust: being sent for your girls. I remember being pregnant with my son in June and July and I was miserable. It was a really hot summer and my poor feet were swollen and HUGE! They reminded me of a elephants feet. I hope Jill can hang in for a few more weeks. Looking forward to seeing the baby pics tho

Jill has breezed through the first two pregnancies with no issues, so this little problem is just kind of annoying to her. The timing of her boss having to be out on medical leave has been really hard on her, but it couldn't be helped - her boss had to have this surgery immediately. The swelling feet hurt, of course, and she feels like she's getting nothing accomplished at night because she is so tired.

Great update and pics.

I love that kid name key chain.

I see nothing wrong with sitting on the floor of a store. They do it all the time at Barnes & Noble.

Will be thinking of you all this week.

I think Jill was catching everyone up on FB, maybe. :)

I finally made it and I'm all caught up! I feel that if I say I will stay current with your report I will jinx it, as I have done with your last several reports.

Jill and Sophie have been on my thoughts and will continue to be so, even though I don't chime in much. I have a cousin and a sister in law due within the next 2.5 weeks; I know how miserable they have been in this heat and how ready they are to be done. I can assume Jill is feeling the same way!

I love what you did with your classroom, especially the antics of the army men! And I fully support a Dis meet in Marceline sometime.

Have a good first full week at school!

It will feel like a long week, for sure. It is hard getting kids back into school mode. They are used to staying up late, sleeping late, watching a lot of TV, eating more snacks throughout the day, etc. Getting into a routine and having to stay focused is not easy for students or teachers.

And naturally, we started doing Running Records testing TODAY. :sad2:

Thinking about you Jill and Spohie and hopefully an early but safe delivery.

Praying for Jill and Sophie Kate. Oh and shopping a little too.

Prayers are with you all. May God Bless you

Thinking of you Jill, and sending some virtual hugs

Just wanted to send you, Sophie Kate, and the rest of your family lots of pixie dust, Jill! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Thanks, everyone! All of those good vibes should help my girl get through this for the next little bit. She is gonig to have the sonogram done tomorrow, so we will know more soon.

Jill would like to try to make it until the 22nd or 23rd, so if the doctor okays that, I think that is what she would rather do. It will all depend on what the doctor says tomorrow. I have no doubt that Sophie will be healthy. I just don't want her to get really big and cause problems for herself or Jill.
