Hey everybody! We had a good morning at Animal Kingdom and now we are back for naps before the Halloween party tonight.

OMG! I hope I never see a snake outside our room. I always ask for ground floor..maybe I should re think that.

My DMom just told me she saw one on the path near the Petals Pool bar on the last trip.
She saw a Mousekeeper put a trash can over it as to not scare anyone and a service worker was there quickly to remove it probably back into the grass/woods ????
She said she never told me cause she didn't want me to be freaked out.

I know they are there and respect their purpose there but I do not want to see them EVER!!!

Hope you are finding something fun to do today in the parks!

It's our Canadian Thanksgiving today, so I will be enjoying a nice brunch with Mickey waffles, hashbrowns, bacon & sausage and fruit.
Then our full turkey diner with all the trimmings later tonight.
A whole day of yummy goodness!

I am very thankful for all of my DISfriends! You all add something special to my life.

You may notice a change in the ticker below this week....seems the new "deal" for January does not include the Little Mermaid rooms at AoA.
Not surprised at all but still a bit disappointing.
The deal becomes available to the public on the 10th so I'll have to see what the saving will be and then I'll make my decision to keep AoA or go with POP.
I can't wait to see all of the pics that you take when you stay there this week.

We thought we were going to have to deal with rain and storms last night. The prediction was bad for the first four hours of the party, but it ended up only sprinkling for a few minutes, and then it cleared out for the night.

We did have fun at MNSSHP. Brooklynn was in heaven as her bag got more and more full of sugar. I told her we could have a trading session today. I already told her I spied some peanut m&m's that I'd be willing to trade for. It will be interesting to watch how her mind works when we pour the bags out and see the stash. She's a very calculating little girl, and I am pretty sure she will come out with the exact trades she wants. Read - I'll be a sucker for whatever she wants.


We didn't get in until around 1:30, so today is a sleep in day. Jill's friends left after the parade, but Brooklynn and Bella were still awake and wanted for sure to see Villains Mix and Mingle. We stayed for that and then a while longer. Brooklynn was able to ride Space Mountain with no wait, so that was good.

Today is sleep in day. Jill wants to go to DTD. After that, I will probably resort hop a little. We're supposed to have dinner with our cousins tonight. Sloan has not felt well since he's been here, so they have not done much. Hopefully he can feel better today and salvage some of the trip. They have never been to Caribbean Beach, so I think that's where we'll go. We really like the food court dinners there.

I had a nice morning walk around Art of Animation. Our room is on the second floor overlooking the Little Mermaid pool. We swam in that one for a while last night and then went over to Nemo. The kids - seven of them 6 and under - had a blast! Great resort and great pools.

I think today will find Brooklynn in Animal Kingdom with her AK partner (moi) and the others in Epcot. They want to do another loop around World Showcase for more food. This is a sleep late day, so they are still asleep, except for Jill. She wants to eat breakfast at AoA and then just get to WS when it opens.
