First my DVC April trip was canceled and then I have to cancel my airline ticket for that trip, fine because we were going this September.
Just last week Delta pulled out of my local airport(this was for my September trip), couldn't even get reissued at DETROIT METRO, nope, but I gotta refund back to my credit card.
Booked new airline tickets(for September trip) at my local airport with a different airline.
Now I just received a cancelation for the cruise in September on the Dream.
I'm hoping something can be done. On hold waiting to see what Disney Cruise line will do.

I’m so sorry to hear about your disappointments, it’s so frustrating trying to plan and then be let down over and over! I hope you get to go on your cruise. We were supposed to have a family stay at Copper Creek mid August but I rescheduled to 2021, it broke my heart to change it but we are still under travel restrictions to Fla. and with the spike they are having I’m not sure if I want to risk traveling there.

I call MS #, got in touch with cruise dept and the guy tells he can't help and I had to talk to MS. So I ask to be transferred and I get disconnected. So I called back to MS twice and got a busy signal. Called again and now the CM at MS is trying to help and is having issues.

Son of a Mickey. I think I've been put back into a queue. I just keep hearing music and the auto about cancelation reservations and the points being returned to their use year.

Now according to DVC MS Cruise dept(yes, I used my ots for a cruise - it was to celebratemy husband's birthday) and I'm getting the same options as everyone else. 125% refund towards a new cruise
Here's my question: when the Cruise dept tells you you will get a cash value towards your next cruise . When I asked what the value was CM said they would have to call Disney cruise lines billing dept to find out. Ummm what??.

I feel your pain. We have been DVC since our 10th anniversary in 2003. Bought in as our anniversary present. Working in retail have never ever been to WDW during the holidays. My daughter turns 13 Dec 8 and wifes birthday is end of November and we booked for home resort Boardwalk on daughters birthday week. 27 years to this very day, our anniversary and the first day of our honeymoon trip to Disney, we have Always wished to experience Christmas at WDW and now all the extras may be canceled and we might not be able to get tickets and reservations anyway because as DVC members we never buy tickets that far out. Looking like we may have to give up the dream because not worth going if everything is going to be closed down. Wicked bummer for everyone out there.

You know every body says use your points for a cruise, but there my points in I wanna use them the way I want to and I shouldn't be shamed for it.
Yes, I'm grateful Disney's giving me a 125% back to book a future cruise, but why they couldn't tell me the cash value at that time is beyond me. At least when I re book I would know how much I would have to pay the difference ahead of time.

I believe they give you 125% of opening day pricing. They likely cannot tell you current value because DCL has to look it up. It is not last effective price, but first.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their support and kind words. I feel for anyone who also has to go through this, the heart ache and the ushered tears and the stress of trying to fix the mess that is caused by a cancelation
I would like to thank the CM at MS for their help putting me in touch with the Supervisor in the Disney cruise department .
After all the ups and downs with this upcoming reservation, I was able to fill in the gaps(dates). So no cruise this year, but maybe next.
