I just checked the Disneyland app and The My Disney Experience app(I check the wait times randomly when I'm bored...), and for some reason, Soarin' Around The World (DCA) has a 2 hour wait, but in Epcot, Soarin' only has a 35 minute wait. I would just get a FastPass if I could. Who would wait 2 hours for Soarin'?

Epcot has 3 theaters. I believe DCA is only using 1 right now.

Additionally, Florida just had a massive hurricane come through a week ago. Lots of people canceled or postponed trips.

If that. Twice last week while I was in line they "lost the projector" so I never did ride it this visit.

People waited 3 hours for Soarin in WDW when the new show came out so these people exist on both coasts. But that doesn't actually matter as WDW wait times have nothing to do with DL wait times. As PPs stated one screen is having issues at DL so 1 screen DL vs 3 screens WDW = you should expect at minimum 3 times the wait. Who would wait even more than that? Anyone who wants to ride Soarin without flying 2,500 miles across the country.
