The last time we went to WDW 6 years ago, CMs were at the front and took our pics, then they would give us a slip of paper. So is photopass the same, but they give you a cd to put more pics on it? I just read that others had over 200 pics on theirs, so if my thinking is correct then they had to approach CMs at each park in the front to take your pic?

I am just really confused!!

The photopass works pretty much the same, you have the photo people out front, they take your picture and scan the card, but photo people are just not out front, they are almost now all out at Photo Spots and at most character spots, Toon Town Fair, and Character Connection, and other places, instead of giving you a card everytime you use the same card. It is nice if you forgot your camera.

At this moment, I have two cards that have a total of about 50 shots on them. I am going back, for a day/night on Friday. I'll be adding photos from that visit to one of those cards. I got lucky because the PhotoPass site was down in order to be upgraded, so they extended my 'order' date to Feb 12!!! I'm hoping to add another 25-30 shots on Friday, especially at the P/P party. It's a wonderful thing to be able to be in photos, rather than always be behind the camera!!! There are photographers all over the place...just walk up to one, get a card (if you don't already have one), they will swipe the card, take the photo and hand your card back. You can keep doing that the entire trip. Then, when you get home, you can enter the card code (on the back of the card) into the PhotoPass site and order photos individually or put them all on a cd for $125..then you can make your own copies, at your leisure. That's what I'll be doing.

The Photopass CARD is different from the Photopass CD. The photographers will scan a Photopass card after taking your photos and you keep it with you. You use the same card for all photos you have taken.

When your trip is over you can either buy the photos individually or decide to buy the CD for $125. The value of the CD depends on how many photos you end up having taken and the quality of those photos.

You can either buy the photos/CD at WDW or from the comfort of your home.

Hope this helps.

Can you add photos from the character meals to the photo pass or do you have to buy these then add them?
Can you have the memory book made up in WDW or only from home?
Thanks in advance
