LOL at the Davey Jones crush. I have 3 sisters - we each had our "favorite" monkee. I liked Mike the best. But I went to see them on a reunion tour (sans Mike) in the late 80's. It was wierd.

I have never been to Narcoosies, but LOVED Le Cellier and never heard of a soldier turning down steak so that would be my choice.

Your night time photos of DHS are great. and YAY to 20 minute wait. I LOVED all the big toys - and because I have an 8 year old, still have a lot of them in my house!

Your Raglan Road food porn makes me even more sorry that we skipped our ADR here. Next time!!!

I was so woefully behind on you updates, and every other TR, that I can't even remember what I was going to comment on. but I have enjoyed catching up on it. I had aspirations of finishing up my TR before our trip, but we are in the TEENS for our countdown, so I find it highly unlikely since I have barely found time lately to post! Oh well. It'll be a fun way to extend the trips.

Like I said, I ws way behind, so my vote for ADR to keep was for Le Cellier (for lunch to not use up 2TS). We have enjoyed it each time and last trip, I had an amazing fish dish. So good. Our waiter told us that it might make it onto the newer menu for the signature dinner service, so they were asking for input. So just wanted to say, there are things there that are yummy other than the filet. (I don't eat beef, so go figure that we keep going to a steakhouse).

Kudos on making it until 2am and still going to the gym every morning. I find that my exercise for the whole trip is just walking around the parks!

Yay for disney anticipation!

It's fine I can definitely relate! I am slowly but surely getting caught up though! Yeah we have been posting fiends hoping to get at least half way done before our trip so we will see what happens!

We aren't on the dining plan so it doesn't really matter when it comes to how many credits we are using but we did decide to go here. I am hoping to try the soup and the mashed potatoes

The Castle changed colors and a voice came over the speakers talking about how this is the place where dreams come true and we hope your dreams came true today I seriously got choked up and almost started crying I love Disney and this was the perfect way to end the day! I had lost some of the magic with all of the ticket issues but after seeing that it all rushed back to me

I remember on my trip to disney in august of 2009 (right before my senior year of high school) we were in the magic kingdom during extra magic hours and got to hear that announcement while eating casey's and watching the castle change colors. It was really magical! It was already a great disney day and that put it over the edge. I hope i get to hear the announcement again because it really is magical. It especially meant a lot to us that day because we were leaving the next day.

This update just got me SO EXCITEDDD for extra magic hours!!! They seriously just never get old! You can go on so many things in such a short amount of time... it's a beautiful thing.
I love that "looking up" picture of the castle. I have taken a few of those and they are seriously THE BEST. I want to blow one up and frame it on my wall.
And it's really cool that you just went to MK by yourself and went on everything! That's pretty fun! My parents and brother get so tired by the end of the night... I might have to start doing that.

Well the Magic Kingdom is the best park magic wise in my opinion but I know that if you stick around Epcot long enough you can see them burn out the rest of the fuel used for the fire effects during Illuminations

Taking a nap during the day in order to stay up later is perfectly acceptable! I am sure we all would have taken a nap had we known how late we would be up

It was a lot of fun! Definitely one of my favorite moments of the vacation! It was nice to do whatever I wanted to and run around the park

What a fun night at MK! And a great DIS meet! Yay for your Fastpasses and Space! Even though it's indoors, I love riding it so much more at night for some reason.

Good for you for sticking around till 2! I would do the same thing.

You hit some great rides! I love POTC during EMH, it's ALWAYS a walk-on!

Yayy Splash Mountain my fave. That is THE best ride to go on at night, IMO. So fun.

Philharmagic is SUCH a great way to end the night. Good choice.
