I didn't miss summer Ap yet? right?

The bounceback for Aug 5-31 is 35%.....I'm wondering if AP will beat that or even match it!

Yeah, I'm kicking myself now. I knew I couldn't commit to a short August trip when we were at POFQ/YC last month, so I didn't book the BB. I knew I might lose out a bit, but I was hoping the AP discount would be something more than the 25% discount (even if it was less than the 35% BB.) Ugh!

But the good news is I bought my plane ticket for Oct trip tonight even though I have not even booked a resort yet for August trip! Just found a good sale on Jetblue and could not resist.

I just wish they'd come out with these earlier. Come out with a good % off early on with X amount of time to book - then drop the % off to lower if booking closer to trip dates.
Airfare is SOOO crazy expensive - if you wait for rates to come out, then you can snooze and lose on the airfare and it's then too high and out outpriced of a trip, room deal or not, on airfare alone.

I just checked, no AP discount yet today! I keep on saying I'm going to book with the general public summer discount, but am holding off....At least I've had my dining ressies done for a couple of months. So I have a place to eat but no place to sleep as of now. Come on Disney...we're waiting

Me too, I booked BC with the summer discount several weeks ago and went ahead and reserved our flight. We'll just have to wait and see what next week brings which will hopefully be AP rates.

i know same here! we keep holding out & I keep checking day in and day out. We have plane fare & ressies but no resort! lol! i REALLY hope they come out soon.

I was looking on the historical data on MouseSavers for when they came out last year and it wasn't until June 30!!

I'm just booking the room only deal and if the AP rate is lower, I'll re-book.

That 6/30 for last year coming out... that was not for June/July of '11... that was for 8/14-10/1

For 6/3/11 - 8/13/11 came out on April 25th.
In 2010....6/4/10 - 8/14/10 came out MARCH 24th
In 2009... for this same time period came out May 6.

Really, where is it this year?

and we're waiting for November also... which last year came out Aug 3rd - but wonder WHEN this year it will?

I remember last year it came out on 4/25 for travel starting 6/3... and people were posting impatiently waiting, as it was getting close to their 45 days.... I assume that is the case this year with some out there, too. Dont' want to book something and modify when AP finally comes out and then have to pay a change fee because you're in that 45-day window.

Well... let's say you plan on arriving June 15th and waiting for AP rates... well, your 45 days out has already passed - it would have been May 1st.

Just would be nice as these are trips people have to plan for, book airfare (well, find decent airfare first off).... and to be booking within that 45-day window or close to it, just seems a bit too close to comfort for me. Our 45 days is May 12th.

last time I went and booked using an AP discount was the summer of 2009-- rates were released May 6th then... so makes sense I am going this summer and it is a late release. Sorry all... Jill
