I didn't know this about UPS

They don't deliver on Saturdays!! You can't even go pick up your package at the hub!! I guess I just assumed they were like the post office.

They don't do normal deliveries on Saturday. However they do offer an overnight Saturday delivery. For some reason this is usually much cheaper than normal overnight delivery.

It depends on location, but many locations do Saturday delivery and Saturday pick-up.

It might have just been the store you called. Call another one and ask them.

UPS doesn't do Saturday deliveries around here. We were supposed to receive the latest Harry Potter book from Amazon through UPS, but since they don't deliveries on Saturday (at least here), they arranged for the post office to make the delivery.

It wasn't a UPS store it was UPS. We have a couple of hubs around us so that if you are tracking a package and you see it is at the hub (and not on a truck yet) you can call and tell them you will come and pick up instead of them delivering it.

Sounds like this is a regional thing.
