So, I know I should have done this a LONG time ago. But yesterday I STUCK to the list, got a TON of coupons and I managed to trim 50 dollars from our grocery budget yesterday, SO EXCITED!!! Now I'm hooked, gotta start coupon clipping regularly for sure.

i'm so jealous!!! i'm trying to get better at it. I have started carrying my coupons with me all the time, now just to stick to the list.

congratulations!!!!

Congratulations! I have to get back into couponing. My CVS/Rite Aid freebies are getting slim (meaning I only have 6 bottles of body wash left). :lmao:

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Doesn't it feel great?!?!?

What are you going to do with that $50? Put it in a savings account for something special? Pay off a debt? It feels even better when you take the savings and put it towards something!!!

O.K., so nothing that splendid, but we are going to use it to go to dinner and a movie Friday night. Bad I know - next time we'll do savings. It definitely made me feel good. Walked in with $250 cash expecting to walk out with nothing. When she handed me that $50.00 back I was THRILLEd. Total saved on coupons was 47.00!!!:thumbsup2

NO NOT BAD!! If you need to reward yourself once in a while to keep the momentum and motivation, then do it!!! Just have a plan. The first week of everymonth, you will use money saved for entertainment - dinner, a movie (Think of 45 Redbox rental a month!!!), whatever! Just stick to your plan....that would still mean about $150 in savings a month = $1800 a year!!!

Congrats!:cool1: Its a great feeling saving money! Just this week i spent just shy of 100$ and saved 75. Keep up the good work!

CONGRATS!!!! :thumbsup2:dance3:
It feels so good to save money!!!!!

I love to save money with my coupons!!!

I started about 20 years ago putting the money I saved with coupons regularly into a savings account. It was amazing how it added up. I paid for 2 trips for my family (2 adults, 2 kids) to Disney and 1 1/2 Disney cruises out of that savings account over the years. :cool1:

What percentage did you save off your bill? In other words, did you buy more than you would have normally or seriously ONLY bought the normal things and used coupons to reduce total cost? Just curious.....I myself am Trying to avoid the warehouses, I always Buy more, UGH....so now, shop one week at a time and plan ahead...thats a biggie for me...I do good than wanna eat out again, :rotfl2:
Congrats ... it feels it does feel SO GOOD to save .....
