I did it!! Got my Tattoo......(pic inside)

Well as my Mothers day present i got my Tattoo
and all the worry was for nothing
Didn't hurt kinda felt like a razor burn

I know the pic is not the best quality my camera decided to not work so had to use DD's and it is just a 20 dollar digital
does not take great pics

Now the meaning behind the Tattoo

I wanted something to represent me my dd's my mom and my grnadmother who was my best friend

so MY heart with the girls in it (their zodiac symbols)
the butterfly is my Mom she loves butterflys and it represents her supporting us all and protecting us
and the flowers they are snowdrops for my grandmother
Every year she would call me and say spring is coming there is hope the snowdrops are peeking thru
so they are there to represent her watching over us all

And here it is about 4 inches below the knee on my left calf

Hard to see in the photo but Matt (the artist) did some cool shading in different shades of burgundy red and and pink in the wings and the heart

I kept stalling in fear it would hurt
but i am so glad i did it

the pain really wasn't that bad

Here is DH's newest Tattoo

it is a Sun on his shoulder with the girls zodiac symbols

I wish my camera was working so you could see the colors
they are so intense

Reds yellow oranges several shades of blue

Not the thought of pain that stops me, finding a good place that does.
But I will do it before summer is over. I want it before I go to WDW again

It's a great Tat, Kayla! Just know that Calf tats tend to swell as they're healing, you may feel a bit of throbbing in your calf over the next week or so. Other than that, It'll be no problem at all. 2 of my 3 are butterflies, one symbolising my rising from depression, the other symbolising my growing up. *chuckles* The third is a pheonix, for rising from the flames of my divorce.
