I decided to just Do It--Ohana ADR made

This is the only place my girls and I didn't try that we wanted to when we went for free dining 2 years ago. I have been debating back and forth if I really wanted to try it--and PAY for it based on all the bad reviews. But forwarned is forarmed. I will go in expecting a great experience based on all the wonderful reviews that I have read. But if we have a less than magical experience then I am an assertive person and I will have no problems speaking to a manager and making sure problems are taken care of. We are pretty laid back and not overly demanding so I am hoping all will be good.

We have a 5:00 ADR--right when they open, so surely service won't be too backed up and overwhelmed then, right?

I will come back here and provide a full report. If it was awful everyone else that had an awful time has my full permission to say "I TOLD YOU SO!!"


We also have an ADR for Trails End later in the week after DH arrives. We will pick him up at the airport and go straight out to Fort Wilderness for dinner there. I think he will enjoy that.

I think you will be glad you went! This is our favorite! We lvoe the food and the fun. We didn't feel rushed the times we went. My suggestion is to ask to be seated in the main dining room where all the action is. Have a great time and enjoy!

Thanks for that suggestion. We do want to be in the middle of things and since we will be there when we open hopefully we will have a good choice of seats. I will add that to my notes.


We actually may try to make it to Fantasmic after dinner so a little bit rushed won't be too bad of a thing! With my luck we will be sitting there waiting forever for each course and for our check while I am trying to get going so we can make it in time!

We have had a great experience at 'Ohana each time we have gone. We always eat early. I always wonder if food and service quality decline as the evening wears on?

If you've never seen EWP, take some time after dinner to linger around the grounds and catch the 9PM show on the lagoon out back. It's fun! Plus, the Poly is so beautiful, it is lovely to just walk the beach, smell the air and enjoy the torches and sounds of the waterfalls.
