You are all probably sick of me posting about this pregnancy but I needed to whine a bit!LOL
After I boldly bragged last week about how GREAT I was feeling again wouldn't you know BAHM it hit me again! So bad that I ended up in the ER Wednesday night from 6:00- until after midnight getting IV's and anti-nausea drips! It really s*****!!!!They ended up putting me on compozine again this pregnancy(like last) and today is the 1st day I have not "lost" anything. The problem is it makes me very tired but I'll take tired over vomiting ANY day!
I'm so envious of those of you that had "normal" pregnancies. It does take away from the excitement a bit.Don't take that the wrong way-I'm thrilled about this but just drained.
I've pretty much made up my mind that since I'm having a c-section I will just have my tubes tied at the same time.I always said I wanted 2 children so this will be it.I just don't see myself ever getting the desire/courage to do this again!LOL Age is a factor also becasue if I were to have another I would be at least 37 and I don't think I will have it in me like many do!
Thanks for listening!!!!!
Kim

{{{HUGS}}} I am so sorry that your are feeling yucky. I had a good pregnancy until the last 6 weeks...then I itched all over like I had poison ivy or something. The doctor said my enzymes/hormones were doing something. I ended up on prescriotion medicine that made my DS very jaundiced. I also took 4-5 oatmeal baths a day and had to stop work early since it was the summer. All I had to do is look out the window at sunlight and I was clawing again : )

You KNOW it will be worth it, though. I am glad they have something to help keep food in your tummy.

No doubt that it is worth it!Just no fun when you go through it!Sorry to hear about your "condition"-that must have been awful especially in the summer!
Kim

{{{HUGS}}} sweetie. Sorry you have not been feeling well. Hope the nausea and vomiting goes away completely very soon.

{{hugs}} to you Kim. As I said to you before, I hope you are feeling much better very soon. I hope you are able to enjoy that pregnancy to the fullest soon :)

The only thing worse than a bad pregnancy is being someone who had a bad pregnancy and listening to women who tell you that they loved being pregnant and never felt as healthy as when they were pregnant. I also stopped having children after two horrible pregnancies...high blood pressure, gestational diabetes, preeclampsia which had me on total bedrest for three months, and a case of parvovirus during the last pregnancy.

Just think about how wonderful it will be to finally hold that little baby. It will all be worthwhile. There is nothing better than the morning after delivery when you wake up and realize that you are not pregnant anymore!

Do hope you feel better in the days ahead, Kim. Wish I could do more. {{Hugs}}

Thanks everyone for your support!I feel like I should stop posting about this because everyone will think all I do is complain!LOL Which I'm not-I'm just bummed out.EVERYONE said chances are I would have a much easier pregnancy this time around but in the back of my mind I knew better!LOL I was more than willing to do it all over again because I know the end results are SO worth it!!!!But 2 is enough !!!!!!
I am getting nervous though because I feel like I'm not getting much nutrition.I was sick again last night-bad.I know my OB will be watching me closly now though so if he thinks something more needs to be done- it will.
crs7568-so sorry about how sick you were.Bedrest for 3 months must have been AWFUL.I know what you mean about waking up the day after delivery and realizing you're not pregnant anymore!Although it felt funny not having my ribs kicked anymore!LOL
Thanks for all the hugs-I needed that!!!!!I'll try to post only the positive from now on(you might not see me for awhile!LOL)

I'm sorry Kim. I too had to go on the drugs and there were many days I didn't think I would make it, I was either going to throw up my stomache or fall asleep in front of my students. Just keep thinking about the 2nd trimester and hopefully how you will feel better by then. Oh, and of course how much fun it will be once the baby is here! (it will be, right?;) )
