the food network. When they cut the wedding cake I wouldnt be able to cut a cake that pretty.

Wasn't that a great show? I loved the very small cakes.
I don't think that I could have eaten the white chocolate castle.

a cake decorating couse my god mother gave me a bunch of her stuff she made my wedding cake. and I over heard a couple of people saying they didnt like the color of my cake it was yellow and it was the best cake ever.

I used to decorate cakes at Publix. It is hard work!!! My hands got so bad with all that squeezing of the bag I have not decorated one in 4 years!!! I did not do very many wedding cakes but the ones I did decorate became my "baby" and I hated to see people come to pick them up...especially if the had a filthy cluttered car!!!

I worked at Publix too!!! For about 5 years. I did LOTS of wedding cakes, and what always got to me when people picked them up was they always want to put them in the trunk of their car!!!! OMG!!! Anyway, moved on from there to become a bakery manager for 7 years, but then dd came along and the hours were just too much. I'm at a local bakery now, doing what I love once again, just without the headache of management. I've never taken a cake decorating class, just kind of taught myself! I have an attic full of decorating stuff, of course when I started doing it, my family had me do all their cakes! Back then I was too young and naiive to say no, but next week it's all going in a garage sale, everything that is, but my Mickey Mouse cake stuff!!!
