And I need your help! I am a long time Disney girl, and we are returning to Disney Monday June 20. We do not have tickets for Disney that day, not until Tuesday. My brother and his family are going with us and he wants to see Harry Potter over at Universal. He said he would buy my family's tickets if we would come along.
How can I say no!? Anyhow, we can only go Monday until 5pm. We have been there before, we are going only to see the Harry Potter section. So, needless to say I have questions!


1. what time does the park open and does HP open at the same time?
2. I hear there is a limited number of entries per day, is this true?
3. I am assuming if you buy a Universal ticket, HP is included?
4. our party will contain boys aged 8, 12, 14 and a girl aged 4. Anything we need to steer clear of?
5. How crowded do you forsee it being on June 20th, it's a Monday.

I have begun to research, but he wants to get the tickets bought soon so it's done and I need to hurry.
I can get tickets through AAA for $66.99 (universal admittance only), which from what I can see is by far the best deal I will get.

1.) The park hours for 6/20 are 9am-10pm. WWoHP opens early for onsite and package guests only so it will be open when the rest of the park opens.

2.) Not really...there is a limited number of people that can be in WWoHP at a time but not for the whole day. If the area is at maximum capacity, you'll have to wait to enter.

3.) Yes...WWoHP is included in your theme park ticket.

4.) It depends on what they don't like to do. I would do everything I could during the day.

5.) The Express Plus pass for IOA that day is $39.99 per person right now which indicates moderate crowds for the park in general. WWoHP will be very busy all summer so be ready for the lines and GET THERE AS EARLY AS YOU CAN.

ok did a little investigating and the US tix for 66.99 are for US in Hollywood not in Orlando. The US Orlando are $112 and change. The best deal I found was from undercover tourist for $85.95, no tax and free shipping. Anyone find anything better?

Make sure you get a ticket for Islands of Adventure NOT Universal Studios. A 1 day 1 park IOA ticket is what you need. If you want to see anything at Universal Studios, you will need a 2 park ticket.

1 day tickets do not specify park. You can choose to go to either one but not both. One Day One Park tickets are $82 without tax through the Universal website. You won't find them much discounted anywhere else.

FL resident tickets were $72 with AAA discount for one day, single park at Universal. $79 and change for non-FL residents. Best prices I could find.

OMG! thank you for checking into that! I could have sworn I hit Orlando, but no it was CA. Saved me a huge headache!

I redid my search and AAA has them for $82 (adult), $74 (3-9).

Also, thankyou for pointing out that I need Islands not Universal. I really thought it was at Unversal. I am glad the tickets don't specify the park, although I also know once you pick a park and enter that gate you are committed.

good to know the park opens at 9. DB wanted to be there at 10 (he is not a morning person), looks like he may have to change his plans. We are traveling up from Sarasota. haha, may be a very early morning!

An answer to 4.) Someone said it best, it all depends on what they don't like to do but, I would suggest hitting it all if all possible. It is absolutely amazing what Universal did with WWoHP. Hope you enjoy!
