Thank you so much for all the prayers. They are already helping.

We just ate dinner on the back porch and a very well behaved, hungry, stray dog showed up. We live in the country and that's never happened before. However, my daughter LOVED animals and dogs in particular. I just felt like she had sent him here, so we fed him and for the first time since her death I could FEEL her smiling. I could Feel her around us and it gave me great peace. My honey is calling the shelter to come pick him up and take care of him right now. (He knows the people who run it)

One foot in front of the other, right?

Sherry, I have no real advice for you. God does have a plan that we can never fully know or understand. I do believe that God does have a plan for you, especially after your miraculous recovery. I do know you miss your daughter, but never forget the rest of your family... they do need you.

Your DD is up above watching over you and your family.

You are in my prayers, and if you ever feel down remember that God will give you the strength you need to survive this

A priest once told me "every life has a purpose. Some complete their purpose in 3 days (my son) some in 99 years ( my grandmother) Each life and purpose is important."

I try to remember "every life has a purpose"... it gets me thru the really hard days of my life.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I have no words of wisdom except to remember, as many have said, that there is a purpose to everything and that God weeps when we do. I think you're feelings are completely normal. I'm praying for you and hoping that you find some measure of peace in your life. I just lost my grandma and my mom and I agree losing a child would be excruiating. Prayers to you and God bless you.

I would first like to say that I am so sorry for your loss. No parent should ever have to lose a child.
I would like to comment on your experience with the dog. I do believe that the people we love can give us signs to let us know that they are with us and are fine. That must have been such a wonderful experience to feel your daughter near you.
My first DH died when he was only 21. He was the second child his parents buried. The first child was still born. Although my pain was enormous, I know their pain was greater. We did receive signs from him that let us know that he was ok. I also had many dreams of him, and that helped too.
I feel like you were saved for a reason. Maybe the reason is that your son did not need to lose his mother this early in his life. I'm sure there are many reasons though. You sound like a wonderful, loving person. My prayers go out to you and your family.

I just want to say that I am thinking of you and your family. I cannot begin to imagine losing my soon to be 7-year old DD. Please be strong for your son and for the rest of your family. They are in the same pain and they need you now {{hugs}}.
