I completed a sale on half.com!

I'm so excited and I just had to share!

I've been saying for a year now that I would get started on e-bay. And to tell you the truth ... I'm scared. What if I don't price my item high enough, what if I don't quote enough for postage, what if my item never sells and then I still have to a listing fee ...

I know the running ebay thread has some great info in it but I just can't quite seem to take that leap.

I decided to start small and list 3 things on half.com yesterday afternoon and by yesterday evening 1 item had sold!!

I could not believe it!! I almost still can't believe it. DH said any money I make at half or e-bay is mine to do with as I please. Well, I think we all know I'll be saving it for a Disney trip.

If I just get enough saved to take advantage of the $20.04 rates (if they come out this year) I'd be thrilled.

Thanks for listening and the e-bay thread. I feel a little more confident now in trying to get some e-bay auctions. My goal is to have something up by Feb 1st.

Yes, the eBay thread can be daunting and there is LOTS of info there to absorb! I was totally confused at first myself and now eBay is a major source of my income! I am so grateful for the info over there!

I did start on Half.com as an offshoot to eBay, mostly to sell books. It was so nice to get that "You've Made A Sale" email! I know it gave you the confidence to get started.

Congratulations! It is a wonderful feeling to make a sale on Half.com. Like you I am an ebay chicken but I have done half.com several times with great success.

I got a digital camera for Christmas so I am thinking that maybe I will venture into the ebay world soon.
