Catching the end of F&G and the 24-hour event? It sounds like everything is shaping up perfectly!!

I had spreadsheets and highlighted portions when we were there for F&W! Drooling over the pictures on DFB is half the fun. The other half is eating it!!

You're FP+ window should be coming up soon, right? Exciting!!

It really is!!! Can't believe my luck with the 24 hour event! And I'm quite happy it's at the end of my trip and not the beginning so that I won't be tired for days to come

Spreadsheets are a Disney lover's best friend, right?! I have one for park hours and ADRs and will fit my FP+ times into it soon too... Yep! You're right, next Wednesday is the day for my FP+ window - woohoo!!!

I love your organization and planning. I can only look at the Disney Food Blog if I am prepared to start snacking...because that is what happens when I do. The Florida cobbler thing looked really good! I've heard a lot about the Frushi, but never tried it. 4 more days until your FP selections...and then you enter the dreaded 60 day doldrums. I trust that you will find things to plan though still.

You really make an excellent point there about being prepared to snack whilst looking at the Disney Food Blog - how true! But I'm a pretty serious snacker anyway so... not a huge stretch to make for me.

I know!!! The 60 day doldrums! It really does exist. I do, however, have a brief list of Disney related things to tackle to tide me over... AND... I have a niece who is due in mid April so that should keep me busy for the final push! (no pun intended! )

Spring???? Not here, it hasn't found us. We got 2.5 feet of snow (and a few 6' drifts) on Sunday/Monday, and I'm currently hunkering down in the middle of another big snow storm. Almost another foot predicted.

Hi everyone!

Has spring found you yet? Sounds like it hasn't for Wendy...
If you're anything like me, you've had a countdown for weeks until spring
on your board at work for the last 13 weeks!
And now that we're down to just another day, it's not really feeling it here. Hopefully soon!

This morning, as many of you may realize by looking at my ticker, was when my FP+ window opened up! I had previously planned to go to bed with my alarm set for 11:55pm. Well, as you may have already read, the museum I work for is getting ready to open a whole new wing tomorrow in the form of a very exclusive gala that I just happen to be working at! The entire evening is going to be a series of exclusive and non-exclusive events and I'll be pretty much moving into work for the weekend starting tomorrow. That being said, I got home from work last night at 11pm (having gone in at 8am!) so by the time I got myself organized for the next day, it was nearly FP+ time, woohoo!!!

I'm very happy with what I was able to lock in! I got everything I wanted at approximately the times I wanted!

I was really planning to do an actual update tonight but my photos aren't cooperating so rather than fuss with those on the eve of a 16+ hour workday tomorrow, I'm going to hit the sheets and promise a better update on Sunday! I'll also reserve Sunday to catch up on everyone else's! ​

Just found your post. Soo excited for your trip. And of course, you are helping to make me even more excited for my own...not til August. I am driving DH crazy with all my planning and tweaking and re-planning (of course the most fun ever!). This will only be my 2nd trip (at 36 yrs old) and my husband's very first!! I love all your photos, especially the FOOD!!! Can't wait to see what FastPasses you got.

Since I haven't been in years (15+) here are what I anticipate to be my responses to your earlier questions:
Favorite park(s): Animal Kingdom (I Love all creatures!!!)
Favorite ride(s): Splash Mountain (been on it at Disneyland-LOVED!)

So happy to have you join me!!! Trust me, May is approaching in lightning speed so it'll be August before you know it, too! Planning really is SO much fun!!! That's just one of beauties of the Disboards... we can annoy our family less because we have this amazing outlet of people just like us to share with!

Thank you so much!!! I mostly got a decent night's sleep last night... definitely some panicked moments of "did I remember to do this? How about that?" But I think for the most part it'll run pretty smoothly!

It's been sunny and in the 50's-60's here in Nashville - been such wonderful weather!
