I have lost five pounds! I know I have...I weighed five pounds less on Sunday, and Monday, and today....I cant get into jeans I was wearing last week!!!!! What the heck is going on?

DID EVERYTHING JUST DROP TO THE MIDDLE ALL OF A SUDDEN????? AAARRRGGHHHHH!!!!

Probably just some fluid, it will go away.
 
I agree it's more than likely water retention. I know it's hard on you but start drinking more water and it will take care of itself. You have done a great job you may want to consider doing a journal if your not already doing one. They really help a lot. I journal at www.fitday.com check it out. Also at www.getting2goal.com if you scroll all the way down there is a program there you can download onto your computer called weightcommand. It was written by a friend for a friend trying to loose weight. It's be awesome having that tool and watching my weight melt away at weight in's it's very impowering to have control like that. The program was 9.95 you download it and then email the owner if you want to keep it and he'll mail that's right regular mail you a invoice and you mail him 10 bucks.LOL You have rights to the program forever and also you can use it for up to two copies there's a copy in a copy and i use it for my husband it's really neat if you have time to check it out.
 
Another vote for excess fluid. I have heard to get rid of excess fluid you need to drink more water (believe it or not), not sure how true that is, perhaps someone else can comment.
 

Yes -- believe it or not (as odd as it sounds) when I find myself retaining I drink extra water for a couple days and eventually have that Whoooosh!:D
 
Or if you're eating a lot of chicken, you could be.. uh.. backed up.

When I first started LA Weightloss two years ago I was eating so much chicken that my stomach was bigger then it was before I had started and I was 8 pounds lighter.

If that's not it, I go with everyone else. Drink some water! You could try to add some lemon to it if that makes it easier.
 
I never heard of the chicken problem, but I have been eating a lot of chicken, so maybe that is it!

Maybe this week I should switch to fish or beef, and see what happens.......;)
 
kind of off subject, but I have found a great way to drink my water! chew cinnamon icebreakers (keeps flavor a long time!), or suck on a piece of choc/caramel cremesaver, or a spearmint candy! i think all of these are great, and helps the water go down much easier! ;) (yucky old water! :( )
 
It's because chicken takes longer to digest then any other meat. And when you're eating it in high volume.. You just can't get it out. :jester:

I had to take an exlax, and then.. everything was fine.
 
The jeans shrunk! The humidity in the air has made your body swell a bit. You're retaining water. The moon is effecting the gravitational pull of your body...

Hang in there! Who knows why these kooky things happen! Those jeans will be fitting swell in no time! :)
