DS and I are almost done reading the 4th Harry Potter book, and I am just beside myself. DS is at school and I want to finish reading the book sooooo bad! I did read a couple pages ahead, but had to stop since it has been "our thing". It is taking all that I have not to just go read it.

hehehe...I am that way too....so I read them all first :p

Actually, what I did was, I read the first two on my own when they first came out. DS wasn't quite old enough at the time to show interest. After that, I continued on with the series on my own at night before bed....and began reading the first ones together with DS in the evenings. Enough time has passed that it's a great refresher, rather than boring to me. :)

I just borrowed these books from a friends not too long ago. I am now in Chapter 8 in book 3 and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These books are so good, and addicting. My DS is way too young to read these (even with me) so I read them before bed and have an awful time putting them down.

I just watched movie 1 and now I want to go see 2.

Can't wait for the next book to come out, as I'm sure I'll be more than ready for it when June rolls around.

I wouldn't be able to stand the wait either. I'd probably cheat and read it now, convincing myself that I was checking for inappropriate or scary parts in order to "protect" my child. ;)

Props for reading to and with your DS:D
