I haven't been able to feel my right arm from the elbow to my shoulder for 3 weeks. Went to the Doc. He gave me some steriods (which is making me hell to live with), he also scheduled me for a MRI next Thursday. It feels like it is asleep with no tingling.

It's DRIVING ME INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That must be weird.

Sounds like you could have a "frozen shoulder" or a pinched nerve.

That sounds terrible! At least it isn't painful. I hope the MRI gives the doctor some answers.

How aggravating that must be. Sorry you are having problems

Hope that you will soon be able to tell an improvement!

Mhopset, this sounds familiar. DH had a neck injury 4 years ago and this was one of his sx. Did you fall or have any injury to your neck? Some people get arthritic changes in the spinal canal that can cause pressure on the nerves and these sx. Good luck and be careful...get to a neurologist if need be.

RNMOM- actually the answer is yes. Due to my Muscular Dystrophy I have to get out of my car kinda weird. I thought I pulled a muscle in my neck because it does hurt. So what did you DH do to get the movement back? I will try anything because it is driving me crazy. I really can't lift the arm. From my elbow down is fine. I am typing and moving my fingers like I always do. It feels like my deltoid won't work.

Hope you feel better very soon!

That's scary. I hope they find out what's causing this soon and fix it.

Sorry to hear that Tony! :( Hope they are able to make you right as rain soon!
