:scared: So I need to submit our list of first choice ADR's to our travel agent. I've been putting this off though because I can't decide on our last two! So please.... help!!

It'll be DH and I on our anniversary trip. No kiddos. We'll be on the dining plan and have seven TS credits. Here's what we have already decided on:
Le Cellier
Chef Mickey's
Coral Reef
CRT

That leaves two credits left, and for the life of me I can't decide where we want to eat! So please give me all your favorite choices and why! I need help! Also, if it helps, DH is very much a meat-and-potatoes kind of guy.

Thanks everyone!

Hi! With the remaining 2 credits, does it need to be 2 dinners or can you afford to use both credits for one meal? If you are looking for great 2TS meals, I would suggest California Grill. It is an amazing experience. Also, for the meat-and-potatoes man, he would LOVE the Yachtsman Steakhouse.

If you need the 2 remaining credits to spread out over 2 meals, here are my suggestions: Kona and Tutto Italia (if you like Italian food) I think on the dining plan, these are great values for what you get.

Here are links to my reviews of each restaurant, along with pictures:

California Grill - http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=25410151&postcount=22

Yachtsman - http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=25620716&postcount=397

Kona - (LOVED Kona!) - http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=25755015&postcount=597

Tutto - http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=25676691&postcount=501

Hope this helps a little!! Best of luck!

Alan

Honestly I would use the 2 table credits on Jiko, FF or the Yachtsman but if you do not want to do that try LC for steak or Tutto for the most amazing Italian food

Does the location of the restaurant matter at all? I would imagine that if you will be in a specific area that day, you may want to pick something a little closer to where you are just for the sake of being time-effective.

If you are in DHS, Brown Derby is good for 2TS credits and if you are willing to stray from the park and go to the Boardwalk area, I would HIGHLY recommend Flying Fish for 2TS, we went for the first time in 07 and loved it.

If you are in Epcot, I would recommend Les Chefs for 1TS credit or again, if you are willing to stray...the FF or Yachtsman for 2TS.

If you are in AK, Yak & Yeti for 1TS or Jiko for 2TS all the way. The food is a little different, but maybe your DH will be willing to step outside of the box. Does he like chinese food? If so - Y&Y wouldn't be a huge departure at all. If you are adventerous, Jiko has some things you would probably like and there is always the Filet and Mac n'Cheese for DH.

If you are in MK I would definitely leave the park. I don't think the dining options within the park are anything to get excited over. CG for 2TS is great if you want to get a view of Wishes. Narcoosee's in the GF is also supposed to be one of the best (I haven't been). Or last but not least, Artist's Point is probably a good one at WL if you haven't tried it out.

The beauty of all of the restaurants is that no matter how "out there", there is probably something for everyone. Most restuarants from San Angel to Coral Reef to Jiko to Yachtsman all have steaks, potatoes or something similar for those that are more tame eaters and extremely interesting selections that most of us would never find at home for those of us that want to live a little.

Good luck and have fun!!

We just got back from a 10 day trip with the DDP. These were our top favorites in order:

LeCellier
Jiko
Yak & Yeti
Coral Reef

Good luck - and have a great time!:goodvibes

Since DH is a meat and potatoes guy, I loved the meatloaf and pot roast at 50's PTC.:thumbsup2

Some of our favorities would be
Teppan Edo
Liberty Tree Tavern
mamma melrose

The last time we really loved Narcoosees. The Filet and cheese potatoes were the best and the almond cheesecake was to die for!!

I would personally get rid of Chef Mickeys and CRT if I didn't have kids going b/c IMO the food isn't that good.

We also really liked Kona, Ohana, Cali Grill for the fireworks, Yak & Yet, Boma, Tusker House Lunch.

My meat loving husband enjoys O'hanas.... :)

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! :) I'll pull those menus and have DH look at them. I hadn't thought about a lot of those restaurants, so it gives me more to look at!

Also, I know for a party of two adults CM and CRT are weird, but here's our reasoning: First, we ate at CM last trip and we both enjoyed it. DH enjoyed the food, and I loved the character interaction (I have a crush on Pluto, I admit it!). CRT is more for me: When I was 5 and visiting WDW for the first time, out of everything I was most looking forward to exploring INSIDE the castle. So imagine my dismay when I discovered there was only a tunnel.. :headache: So I want to go to CRT just so I can say I went "in" the castle. 20 years later.

Jiko is great and 50s PT has great comfort food and a very fun atmosphere. Have fun!
