My family wanted Burger King today for dinner so I got some, I got myself a whopper ( which I loved ) and believe it or not, I could only take two bites and maybe 1/4 of the fries, the rest of them I gave it to the dog.
Is it possible to be so disgusted of that food now? I'm a bit under the weather here and I didn't feel like cooking.

I had the exact same experience with a piece of cake last Friday! If only my body would begin to dislike the taste of white bread!

I've noticed the same thing. There are certain things about food that are really starting to bug me- I don't get it, but I'm not gonna complain!! :p

I sure hope you are feeling better!

I was at a party yesterday & had no trouble passing up the chips/dip, potato/pasta salads & didn't care about skipping the cake. I am proud of myself & hope I can "maintain" that WOE.:Pinkbounc :p

I overheard the family dieter (she weighs 110lbs) saying how she could "never give up pasta". Last week she was just telling me that she is tired of WW & bouncing over to the Mayo clinic diet, then yesterday, she had decided on the Suzanne Somers diet. Oh, GIVE ME A BREAK!!! Sorry, a bit of a vent, there.;)

Kanga, you have willpower of steel! I honestly do not think I could put down a Whopper, after only a few bites, at this stage. For me, for now, I will stay away from Whoppers! Maybe I will get to the point you are one of these days! Congrats on your great choice to not eat all that food!

olga - I know exactly what you mean! I used to crave the fast food and now I dread going to McDs! Though I still like BK and Wendy's better, I rarely order a burger! I would get a whopper jr for sure :)

It's like that with french fries for me, I quit eating them the beginning of the year, then after a couple months thought I'd just try a few of my DDs, they were yucky! I definately don't order fries, just a few from my kids is enough to get the taste of it!

I think it's awesome that we are losing the taste for our trigger foods that are unhealthy! Kudos to you!!!

Hope you are feeling better soon too :)

maryliz - ewwww, white bread is pasty! You can definately lose your taste for it! Try Aunt Millie's 5 grain Light bread. A very healthy light "wheat" bread.

I think it also has to do the fact that I am sick today, Ihave spent all day in bed with a fever since last night , all my bones ache ( including my hair ) and I feel like I cannot walk, yet I don't have any caugh or runny nose but I do feel a sore throat and some earache, yikes, I feel miserable!
