Jungle Land. I was at a party yesterday and I was talking with this woman about our upcoming trip and she was telling me about the time she went with her grandkids and she actually called Animal Kindom, Jungle Land. This was after her arguing with me about the dining plan saying that I didn't have to use my table service as table service I could use it anywhere. I told her yes anywhere as long as it was a sit down restaurant and not a counter service. Now I must tell you she has never used the dining plan herself only her son. Once she called AK Jungle Land I had to get up from the table and get away from her. Just had to tell someone who would understand. Thanks for listening.

That is so funny.... we just got back and i was talking with a coworker- who has been to Disney- and she did the same thing. She called AK Jungle Land!!! And we even had a JL in NC ( it was an amusement park- not even an "animal" park)!!

HaHa! I have NO patience for anyone who can't "get it right". My moms friend was telling us how her wallet got stolen at MGM while she was in line for the Terminator ride! Huh! What? A huge pet peeve of mine is when people call the Magic Kingdom DisneyWorld, or refer to DisenyWorld as Disneyland.

Oh my gosh! I'm leaving on Friday and I did all this planning and I didn't put Jungle Land on our schedule! How much time does it take to see the whole thing? Can I do it in one day? They have mechanical animals there, right? Wait a minute...isn't Jungle Land the park that's just a big zoo? Maybe I'll skip it afterall....

When we were waiting on our bus for AK @ POR in June...we had a couple come up to us with their little girl. The mom asked me which bus they needed to get on to get to WDW. I asked her if she meant MK. She told me NO, they wanted to go to WDW. After trying to explain she was already in WDW, (getting no where I might add...) the husband finally said well can you tell us how to get to the Castle...
I joke all the time about that one. I always say she must have thought I was as blonde as she was. And still wonder if they ever found WDW?

Last weekend I went to the Disney Store in the mall not to far from my house to see if they had any Cast Member name tags. When I didn't see any, I asked the CM at the register. As I approached, I was shocked to see how raggedy her name badge was. When I asked about getting one, she said "like mine? Well you have to be an employee to get one of these." I then told her that the ones I was looking for are actually alot nicer, and can be purchased in the parks. She looked shocked and said "REALLY?" I wanted to say, "Poor thing, you've never been have you?" But I REALLY think she thought I was making it up!

My gosh...you people are so obsessed that if someone makes a mistake about the name of the land you jump down their throats...get over it.

Its not that people get it wrong that bother me, its when people who claim to know eveything about something and get something wrong and proceed to look at me like I don't know what I am talking about, that gets me irritated.

I know exactly what you mean, I also get irratated at people (I called them people-know-it-all) that don't even know the difference between Disneyland and Disney World. I do not even talk about my upcoming trips to people around me anymore because it frustrates me too much and besides they always say to me YOU ARE GOING THERE AGAIN! Yes again, and those are the people that goes to Republic Dominicana (which they can't even drink the water nor the milk) but when I say that, they say to me, well we do not go there for the food, we go there for the free booze and the beach (because it is all inclusive). I am not a beach person, so to me that would be a total lost of my time. I think I needed some venting. I do not only go to Disney, I do go elsewhere, but I like to visit and see things.

I have to say I do have a little more tolerance for people who get Disneyland and Disney World mixed up - if they've never been it can be confusing. And once upon a time the Magic Kingdom WAS Walt Disney World. There weren't any other parks - I have some friends that grew up going to the Magic Kingdom when it first opened and they always refer to it as going to WDW when they mean they are going to the Magic Kingdom.

Once, I was talking with someone, an I told her that I was going to WDW... She replied, oh! you mean Disneyland... I said no, WDW... Disneyland is in California and WDW is in Florida... She said, yeah, same difference, California, Florida, it's in the same place.... I mean how stupid can you be... oh! well, I just rolled my eyes and let it go.
