DH (the tight wad in the family) sometimes amazes me. I was reading my Unofficial 2006 Guide in the car the other day and hubby started talking a little about our upcoming trip. (He is not the Disney freak like I am, but he goes with us every few years). We were disucssing Illuminations and he commented on how neat it is and how hard it is to get a good seat. I just happened to be on the page talking about Illuminations Cruises. After hearing the info he said lets book it!!!

Boy was I shocked. He even said $120.00 for such a great view if well worth it.

Anyone want to share a cruise the first week in Feb?

We are going to WDW the first week in Feb - we will arrive Monday Jan 30 and leave Saturday Feb 4. I will be trying to book an illuminations cruise also that week...ideally, it would fit best in my schedule to book it Tuesday Jan 31. If I can't get it for Tuesday 1/31/06, my fallback date is to get it Wed 2/1.

It's for my mom's 50th birthday surprise vacation trip. It will be my husband and I (ages 28) and my mom and stepdad (50 & 57). What ages are your group? How many are you?

We are a group of 5 -- Me 44, hubby 48, daughter 13, daughter 17, and daughters friend 16. We are flexible on dates.

Just FYI....the cost of the Illuminations Cruises went up. I believe they are closer to $200 now....but the Illuminations sticky on the top should have the new info closer to the end of the thread.
