I can't believe I did this!!!!!!!

I am glad I picked the right name for myself....Nutz4dzny!!!!

I just booked a trip tp WDW for my DH and I.....for a 1 Night stay!

Here are the details. Spirit was offering a CyberSpecial $66.00 one-way. Soooooooooooo I couldn't pass that up right????

So I got to thinking when would I like to go. Well, MNSSHP is coming up and we could go just for that! I reseached and found a date...Oct. 27th which is a Sunday. (No missed work!) We will leave on a 7 AM flight. Arrive 9AM. Got a car on the EA. Not a great price but for 2 days $70.00. We want our own transportation. I just had Knee surgey and have a Handicapped sticker.

Made a phone call and got the BC. (Have friends there!)

Next ordered the tickets to the MNSSHP. We also have PAP.

We will also catch some of the F & W Festival at EPCOT that afternoon. We plan on coming back to room and taking a nap after we hit the hot tub of course.

Dinner is tentatively planned for LTT.

Then do the Party!

Also forgot to mention that Sat. Oct. 26th is Daylight Savings Time so we will gain an extra hour of sleep. We only live 8 minutes from the airport!

Next day is Monday Oct. 28th. We both can fix our work schedules to have that as our scheduled day off so no missed work!!!


We want to sleep in. We will be doing Concierge so we will catch a light breakfast and then go to the Hot tub again until EPCOT opens. Then do EPCOT with a 1 PM Lunch for Tappenyaki...our traditional last meal. We don't have to check-out until 4 PM. So we will head back to room and maybe do Hot tub one last time.....and leave for Airport by 4:30 PM for a 6 PM flight back home.

Arrive back home EXHAUSTED but happy at 8:15 PM!!!!!!!

Well.....that is it! I have always wanted to do this and now we are!

Let me tell you that my DS and I are going to the AKL on August 8 to the 12th. DH can't get off work for that one.

Dh and I just had a great Feb. trip at the BC for 8 days.

We also have an 18 day Christmas trip planned out!

When I called EA to CA a ressies I had made for Oct. 20th instead of the 27th...the reservationist said oh my you have 4 reservations! Do you go to WDW that much during the year? I said yes, I am a true fan and she asked if I could adopt her! LOLOLOL!!!!

Well, I just had to share this with my fellow DIS'ers because you guys understand! The planning is all the fun!

I haven't told my family yet, they think I am nuts as it is!!!

My family thinks i am just as crazy....I do the same things.. we are going...sept, oct, nov, dec....always sneak in a Jan..cause its nice and empty....and then again in May...if i can wait that long.

My husband begs...cant we go someplace else...just once...pleasse..

Hmmm, I don't know anyone else who would do something like the - NOT!

I used the excuse that I had FF miles on USAirways that I needed to use, and that my DD daycare was closed on Veteran's Day so I have to take vacation anyway, and we've never been in Nov, and we've got those doggone AP's (that save us so much money) that I need to get some use out of......

So we went in Feb 02, and will now go in Nov, Dec & Jan.... I just bought our Dec airline tix -- Southwest has some great fares at the moment!

I'm glad I'm not alone....

Sounds like you can afford to go, so I say great! Life is short so enjoy. When Dh and I were younger and his health better we did a few spur of the moment trips, and they were such fun!

I am just going to wear a Bright Lime Green Shirt as is my husband so we are going as DIS'ers!!!!! I will even wear me Lime Green Hat!!! And Socks! So make sure you look for me everyone!!!

We'll be at the party the same night-So much fun-I'll say "Hi" if I see you. We'll have three little boys in suits and sunglasses as "Men in Black" with us. Hope it's as uncrowded as it was last year!

I'd go more often if I could. I think we should have purchased the DVC when they first introduced it. DH loves the place too so as soon as the kids are done college I think we will be getting more than a once a year trip. I will never regret the time and $$$ we spent there. Its our happy place.

So glad to see your post and know I'm not alone! We bought into DVC 2 years ago and plan to go 2x a year now. But this year - we had our July and Dec. trips already scheduled and then in April I realized I had a credit for Southwest that had to be used by the end of June so my DD(5) and myself HAD to go down in May for a 4 day trip! Our first trip alone and we had a ball! So glad we did it.

We just returned from our family trip on July 9th and on July 10th SW came out with $49 fares and our AP's expire on Aug 31st.---sooo guess what! DD and I are going again Aug. 15-21st! My husband is all for it - he thinks life is too short and we should get the most out of it. I think he really enjoyed his "vacation" when we went in May and is looking forward to time alone again!

My family and co-workers on the other hand think I am totally crazy. They just shake their heads at me in disbelief and my mother!! well, I practically make myself sick before I tell her! Thank goodness for you guys - I don't feel so nuts now!
