I cannot wait for winter to be over so I _______?

so I don't have to dress a classroom of kindergarteners in snowboots, snowpants, coats , mittens, hats, scarves, only to have one of them say " I have to go the bathroom ", and then end up with only about 10 minutes of recess by the time we get outside

I also can't wait to wear sandals

Actually, we took a two-hour walk on the beach yesterday. Think we're ready?

That is nice. When do they go back to school? Do you homeschool?

They normally start at the end of August ( we try to stick with public school schedule since they do get state testing done such as Iowa test and Ohio reading & math achievement testing) but we can get through a whole set of ciriculum very fast and either take a long summer break ( 5+ months) or we can take a little time off and start school up in June or July if we choose. Oh and yes I homeschool

I give you a lot of credit for homeschooling. I wouldn't have the patience to do it. It must be so nice for you kids to have the spring off along with summer. Spring is the best weather to be outside.

Oh I agree with you there!! That is the only bad thing. When all this snow starts melting there is mud everywhere!!!
We live out in the country and never had a chance to pave our driveway so in the Spring it is like a muddy swamp! Yuck! Mud bogging anyone??

I cannot wait for winter to be over so I can walk home without freezing. A friend of mine and I also decided that on the first warm day we get, we are going to walk home from school. We are hoping to walk home on April 3. No idea why that day, but it was the first day that came to my head.
