I had a brain hemorrhage when I was 39 y.o back in 2004. I recovered fairly quickly(couple of weeks). I never realized how dangerous this condition is until my neuro congratulated me back in November for making it 5 years. I have seizures now due to the scar tissue. Not a day goes by that I dont realize that it could happen again in a heartbeat. I fear every headache.
Peace be with you as you deal with this difficult time.
This happend to my great aunt. It was so sad to watch her children make the choice to take her of the vent. I am so sorry. It's hard to make the decision and than have to wait for her to go see jesus. Hang in there. And hugs and prayers to you and your family.
I have an aquaintance that is in the hospital with this same condition. She isn't showing any brain activity and is on life-support. Her husband is going to give it a bit more time and then make a decision. She is 46.
I am so sorry that you are going through this. I never realized something like this could happen.
I am so very sorry this is happening to your mom and your family We lost our mother on Christmas Eve 08 and it was the longest day of our life as we too were just waiting for her to let go and go home Please know that there are many of us here who are holding you all in our thoughts and prayers.
I am saying a prayer for strength for your family during this extrodinary difficult time.
Sometimes we have make the decisions we are ready to make and sometimes our loved ones do it on their time. Keep talking to your Mom, get comfort in her love of family.
Your Mom must have been a strong woman, and fiercly protective over her family. Maybe she needs to know it is okay to go and that you will always have her near.
