I Can! I Can Stink at 9am! A January TR - 3/8 New TR Link!

Oh goodness, I am praying and thinking happy thoughts that you get good news soon

Okay I'm finally caught up so here we go...

I'm sorry to hear about DH's grandpa. It's always difficult to lose someone, even when you know it's coming. *hugs*

Oh Mylanta! That picture of DS in the stroller with his legs crossed...so precious! I love it! I'm glad he got over his fear of elevators but those night terrors sound horrible. Poor kiddo :(

I'm sorry the CMs at DME check-in were a little less than Disney-like. Luckily when we were there in 2013, they were pretty friendly. Either that or I was so excited to be on our way to WDW, I didn't care!

My movie guess was West Side Story too. I haven't seen it in a long time but I think it's time to revisit it.

Ugh, no breakfast or coffee? That would make me a very unpleasant person to be around. I get hangry on an empty tummy.

I love your pictures of all the Christmas decorations. Since DH and I did Halloween on our last trip, we're doing Christmas in 2016. I can't wait!

Raglan Road has been on my radar since our last time but it has definitely bumped up to a "must do". I'm not a big fan of Guiness either (although that Smithwicks looks fantabulous) but the bangers & mash looks really good! And I love the dancers as well. How festive!

Your DH sounds like my DH! I wish I could help you on the art or rubbernecking but unfortunately, he hasn't mastered it yet either. :rotfl2:

Oh wow! Your room is Ah. Maze. Ing!!! I'm swooning over here! :faint: I love that you put your plans on the microwave. DH would look at our binder every morning to find out where we were going that day.

I wish I could get DH to like AK better. When we went, he didn't want to stop to look at any of the animals so we only did FOTL, EE, the safari, and Flame Tree. Thank goodness for park hoppers. Poor Donald! He never gets the love :( My father-in-law is the same as your DM. He needs a hearing aid so badly and we almost always end up having fun at his expense. Oh yeah, DS definitely was D-U-N with Tusker House. Those characters can be intimidating for the little ones.

The Dawa Bloody Mary is exactly what I would have went for as well. When we go to Mardi Gras here in St. Louis, the very first drink I get is a bacon Bloody Mary. Heaven. I only enjoyed two adult beverages while we were in WDW last but I'm thinking this next trip will involve more drinking. And you & DH's photo from Dinosaur. :rotfl2: I am dying! OMG, the Elaine Dance. :dancer: I absolutely love the Dug & Russell meet. It was probably one of the best ones we did. And I would have to agree with the cashier in the gift shop. There needs to be more UP things!!! The Frozen magic shots are adorable. :)

Holy crud! That Monorail incident sounds horrible. That poor kid. I hope he wasn't too seriously injured.

2 desserts would have made up for an interrupted meal for me as well. And your 2 choices look like acceptable payments. Yum!

Sleeping in is allowed on any of our vacations EXCEPT WDW. I would have gone full on mad woman. And I totally try to be as loud as possible. Of course when DH is asleep, he couldn't hear a dump truck drive through a nitroglycerin plant so it doesn't always work. That's when I resort to bouncing on the bed. :jumping1: I agree. I would not be missing RnRC or ToT either. :thumbsup2 That was such a nice thing for your DH to do for that CM. I love hearing about warm fuzzies. The ride videos are great!! The ToT even made my palms a little sweaty from the anticipation! I'm with you on the whole Frozen thing. I liked the movie but I'm done with all the frenzy. Loved the pics of DS & DH. How cute!

DH and I did Vegas for our honeymoon but that was 5 years ago so I don't have much input. Except for, stay away from Kahunaville. That's where I got food poisoning. Luckily it was on our next to last day there.

Sending pixiedust: to DH. I have a lot of trouble with my right ear & have lost quite a bit of hearing. After tons and tons of tests, they determined that mine is just a build up of scar tissue. Apparently I have a "deformed estacion (sic) tube" that causes me to get lots of ear infections. They said some must be so mild that I don't even notice them, hence they don't get treated & develop into scar tissue. Fingers crossed that DH has something similar.

P.S. Sorry for the long post :(

OMG - prayers and healing pixie dust on the way. :grouphug:

Prayers for your hubby and family!! :grouphug:

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry you are going through this. The not knowing is the worse. We will being sending lots of prayers and lots of pixiedust: for some good answers soon.

Thinking of you all xxx

Prayers for all of you:grouphug:

Alicia, sending out mega prayers to you right now!! I know the worst is the not knowing, but I have absolute faith that everything will be ok.

I hope for the best outcome for your DH and your family, and a speedy recovery.

You are absolutely in my thoughts and prayers. Those are certainly some scary words to hear. I'll keep you in my thoughts that everything turns out okay.

Oh my goodness. I lurk in your TR so you don't " know" me but T&Ps for your H & family.

Praying for your family! Please keep us posted.

Many prayers and good vibes coming your way. I hope they get everything figured out (not knowing is the worst part), and I hope it's something that can be easily resolved. :goodvibes

Oh my gosh! Those are scary words. Prayers for your DH I hope he's going to be OK.

Subbing, and I hope your DH feels better. Best wishes and prayers to your family.

Hope your DH is doing better.

Hugs! Sending lots of prayers your way!

Oh wow. I hate to see that. Prayers for you guys. None of those three possibilities are necessarily something that you want it to be. I hope they can get him in for an MRI soon. I'd think that it would be a high priority to get him in there given the suspected culprits.

I hope for some good news for him and a speedy recovery.

Sending thoughts and prayers to your family.

It's so scarey being given those kinds of possibilities and then waiting. My prayers are with you

Oh my goodness! Praying that everything is ok and the doctors will figure it out soon. I hope it's nothing serious. Please keep us posted!

Many prayers to you and your family Alicia.

Many blessings to you and your family.

Jay

Sending lots of love your way girly :hug::hug::hug::hug::hug:

Oh my goodness! Lots and lots of prayers heading your way girly - hoping it's nothing too serious!

Oh no! Sending lots of good thoughts and vibes your way. Please KUP.

Prayers and good vibes heading your way!

Oh no! That doesn't sound like good news at all. Please do keep us posted, and meantime we'll be praying for you!

I am so sorry y'all are dealing with such a scary situation. Praying for peace and healing!

Just joined in on your report. Praying here in Florida for your DH.

Many prayers for good health for your DH!

Oh my gosh - scary words indeed! Big time prayers will be sent up!

Sending lots of pixie dust and prayers you way. Hope all turns out just fine, stay strong

Prayers for great news!

:littleangel:Sending some GIANTS love and prayers your way.

I'm so sorry you guys are going through this stressful time. Very scary words :( I hope they find out whats going on soon. Definitely prayers being sent up.

Doing my semi-weekly tour of the DIS and I come upon this update :worried:

Many good thoughts and prayers going out to you guys :goodvibes:grouphug:

Sending lots of prayers and pixie dust to you and your family, Alicia.

Oh goodness, I am praying and thinking happy thoughts that you get good news soon

Wow, thank you everyone for the prayers and thoughts for DH and I! So much love:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes He is scheduled for his MRI today at 4pm with a Follow-Up appointment to go over his scan on Thursday at 3:45pm. We're still praying it's nothing too serious and whatever this is, can be helped with Surgery or something. He still feels the same, no better or worse. And not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

We're supposed to be leaving for Las Vegas next Tuesday (my 31st birthday! :faint:) depending on how things go. DH is still set on going no matter what the outcome and i'm on the fence. Loud noises is a lot for him right now and Vegas seems like one of the worst places to be. Not my call though.

I'll definitely keep everyone posted with the results on Thursday and i'm hoping to post some good results. But for now, I'm going to try and catch up on my 100 threads that i've fallen behind on!

Thanks again everyone!

I just got back on the Trip Reports board after a long hiatus and found another one of yours! :yay: I haven't got past the first post yet but I have to tell you, I have the exact same UP Doctor Who shirt. Hubby also got me the one with the Nemo one and the one with Stitch as the 10th Doctor. He so gets me.

Okay, now off to read what I've missed!

Awesome where did he find your shirts at?!

Okay I'm finally caught up so here we go...

I'm sorry to hear about DH's grandpa. It's always difficult to lose someone, even when you know it's coming. *hugs*

P.S. Sorry for the long post :(

Woah!!!! Talk about a major catch up post :worship: :faint: :worship:

DS is always crossing his legs in the stroller! It's his most comfortable position :rotfl:

I'm not a Guinness fan at all either. Smithwicks is delish though! You really should check it out one day, the environment is so fun!

Great idea on bringing a binder with all your plans :thumbsup2 If the plans aren't LITERALLY in front of his face, he won't look. I was tempted to put the plans in our bathroom, but didn't want to cover the TV up:lmao: But that really would have gotten DH's attention, wouldn't it?!:scratchin

Oh no, does your DH not like animals? It is easily becoming one of our favorite parks. It's actually now the third spot on the list of parks: EP, MK, AK, DHS.

The Dawa Bloody Mary is just sooo delicious! Mmm, anything with Bacon is going to be fantastic right?! It just has to be!

:rotfl2: My two desserts were definitely acceptable!

Phew, luckily for me, DH isn't that hard of sleeper. He'll wake up to the sounds of pots and pans deliberately hitting each other

Ew, food poisioning?! Don't even know where that's at, but i'll definitely stay away :scared:

DH has never had any type of ear infections (unless he had them when he was little?) but since we've been together, he's never once complained of ear problems. But i'm praying that it is something minor.

Thanks for the update. I keep checking hoping to see something ever since you posted about it. I hope that the MRI and the follow up get you the answers you need... hopefully something good.

I admire his desire to go to Vegas, and hope that it does work out for you to go and have a good time.

As you know Alicia, the DIS is family. And one of our family is hurting, we are all hurting. I'll be in Phoenix starting tomorrow, but will be watching for your updates. Our prayers continue.

I have checked back in several times to see if you had posted anything yet. Still praying for good test results! I will be lifting him up in my prayers during his MRI today. Hugs and prayers! :grouphug::hug:

Hopefully things will work out and you will be able to make your Vegas birthday trip!

Alicia I am thinking of you guys, I can tell you from personal experience if it's a tumor you will find out right away usually. Like immediately. Hugs!!!! I really hope you get answers soon, both Jeff and my FIL have had issues with vertigo and hearing loss that were not any of the 3 things your doc mentioned so I am praying he is wrong on all counts. I know I've not been around and am not caught up but you are in my prayers.

Thanks for the update Alicia - glad to hear things at least haven't gotten worst and hopefully you will both get some answers soon. Continued prayers for healing but also that you get a clear answer either way whether you/he should go to Vegas or not (so you can either not go or fully enjoy yourself if you do)

Thanks for the update, Alicia! So glad to hear that things have not gotten any worse. Still sending pixie dust and prayers your way.
Please let us know the outcome of the scan - I am so hoping it will be good news. :goodvibes

Sounds like you're facing this head on with a positive attitude! Hope the MI went well and answers are on their way. Still praying for you all.

Thank you for posting the update. I hope the MRI went well. I've been thinking of you guys every day and you are all in my prayers.

Goodness, what scary news. I hope his MRI went well and that you get good news tomorrow.

So, I'm a little late to the party but I'm def enjoying the trip report so far!

My prayers are with you and your family. I hope your husband's MRI went ok and it turns out to be nothing too serious.

Thanks so much for the update, I keep checking on here for any news. I hope the MRI went well, I bet it's hard to wait til tomorrow for the appointment.

I hope everything went well with the MRI and you get good news on Thursday. I hope you can enjoy your trip to Vegas, it might be noisy in the casinos, but it's possible to fins some places of peace there as well. And you two deserve to get away and enjoy each other!

Ehh, it was a slow day at work so I just powered through your TR. lol Hope everything went well with the MRI. Still sending the pixie dust your way. Please keep us posted.

I think DH got our shirts from TeeFury.com. Here's a picture of my Stitch one.

Oh yeah, covering up the TV would have definitely gotten your DH's attention. Kind of similar to covering up my DH's laptop screen lol. DH just isn't a huge fan of zoos. Me, I love them but I'm afraid AK is going to be skipped on our trip next year unless our best friends decide to go with us.

Kahunaville is/was at TI. I'm not sure if it's even still here. I hope you get to go on your trip but I understand the issue with DH and loud places. Sometimes I have trouble if it's really loud. The only way I can follow conversations in those situations is to lip read. But if he feels up to it, I would say go for it & enjoy!
