Just made a realization.... That's Ellen Travolta in the Haul Out Movies. She's 86! What an inspiration!


Also, I really hope that "SANTA ACADEMY" note at the end of the movie is a teaser for the next movie in this series.

This is one of my favorite cast ensembles on Hallmark. I would literally watch a series based in that neighborhood with those quirky characters! Gotta get my errands and chores done today so I can watch this one tonight!

I'm excited for this one too! Love this series and that they took it in a Halloween direction.

I liked the first 10 minutes of the movie a lot. It was good to see things developing.

I'm hoping he attends a Santa Academy, but he isn't the main focus, ala the last Kimberly Sustad Santa Academy where Paul (?) played an actor trying to prepare for a role LOL. The Santa Academy was in a Nordic country, so that would be fun

Some sad news about the Hallmark Mystery channel. When the new heads of Hallmark Media took over a few years ago, they always treated the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel like it's a red-headed stepchild they inherited and don't want. That is continuing. Renaming it to Hallmark Mystery didn't help. The new Hallmark programmer has decided NOT to use the Hallmark Mystery channel to show any NEW Christmas movies at all. Gone is their traditional "Miracles of Christmas" themed movies.

PLUS, Hallmark will show a Christmas mystery series, but on Hallmark's regular channel.

Hallmark Mystery will only air reruns of older, existing Hallmark holiday movies instead of new premieres. It will also air themed "merry-thons" of their holiday films on certain days.

The Christmas mystery series premiering tomorrow on the Hallmark Channel is:

Mistletoe Murders, (All of Season 1 already streamed only on Hallmark+.) Season 1, episode 1 will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on Friday, October 17, (with two episodes, (6 total,) airing every Friday.)
Season 2 will seamlessly continue, premiering on Nov. 7 through Friday, November 21.)

Stars: Sarah Drew, Peter Mooney

Description: Emily Lane is a good-natured Christmas shop owner with a secret past. When local murders begin to pop up in Fletcher’s Grove, Emily can’t help but to use her unique talents from her past life to help solve murders that affect people in her new life. We have YouTubetv and noticed last week that Great American Family Channel has been added to the line up. They have already started airing Christmas movies. The two that i watched part of this week I was not impressed by.

They have already started airing Christmas movies. The two that i watched part of this week I was not impressed by.

I just added a whole bunch of movies to be DVRed. Most of them are the ones with former Hallmark stars that I know. I won't be recording movies with actors that I don't even know. I know they had to add extra movies to fill out their programing. But, I suspect the quality of those movies may be lacking.

I enjoyed rewatching Falling for Vermont about author Angela Young falling in love with pediatrician Jeff and his two kids Alex and Emily. I didn't get into but to be fair I also did not watch for very long early this morning (A Wisconsin Christmas Pie). What did any of you who watched it think? Thanks, friends. Enjoy a festive movie tonight
