I can't believe that the 2 week holiday in Florida is only a month and a half away. I can't wait to get there and enjoy the theme parks. This year we'll only be going to Disney and Universal as we can't be bothered going to SeaWorld. I'll have to make sure I have plenty of batteries for my camera and a good memory card for my digital camcorder so that I get plenty of footage and photos. I got my brother a camcorder for Christmas so he can film everything as well.

Me and the family (mum, dad and brother) will be staying at Sonesta Suites on Int. Drive which will have transport for both parks which will be good. What's also good is that the last shuttle back to the hotel is at 10:30pm so we can stay longer and enjoy the fireworks as well.

I can't wait to check out the new attractions that are there at both parks. Luckily I checked the crowd calendar for the beginning of March and it is said to be quiet around then so that is good.

I can hardly wait as I'm so excited :)

Looks like you're going at the right time, it's getting colder. have a fab time.

On hotel shuttles. Many hotels make you prebook, so remember to reserve your space each day.

Also, on the way back hotel, if 10:30pm is the last one, remember that at Magic Kingdom, the pickup point will be over at the Ticket and Transportation Centre, so factor getting to TTC into your Wishes planning :)

Oh and most of all, have an amazing time!!

Do you mean it'll be colder for when she's there :( ? I'm going for 1 week from March 3rd, I hope the weather is warm!

I've looked at past years as predictions (not the best indicator) but the weather at the start of March seems good in the 70s f/ low 20c

also, have fun Spindler2007!

Well its definitely getting colder here in the NE of the UK, so I'm guessing that's what their meaning was. It's been around 19 C in Orlando from what Accuweather tells me so I doubt it will be less than 20 C in March frankly.

I'm so excited for ours too. But ours is a bit further away than yours! Have a great time xx

I can't believe the holiday is less than 2 weeks away. I'm so excited about getting there and having a wonderful. After being on Thunder mountain railroad 4 years, my mum is thinking of trying the bigger coasters like Expedition Everest. She is definitely getting braver when it comes to coasters by starting small which is a good thing. Years ago, she wouldn't go near them but now she can't wait to go on Thunder mountain again as its her favourite lol.

I'm sure this will be a holiday to remember. Its a shame the holiday 4 years ago was ruined when I fell ill with chicken pox. I was fine the first week but was ill throughout the second week. We didn't know that it was chicken pox until we got back home and was in hospital for 3 days. Being ill put me off going back to Florida but after seeing all the new things in the theme parks, my wanting to go back returned and I can hardly wait to get back there and have an awesome time :)

have a great time

Thanks. I read your post about not being able to go due to breaking your leg. I'm sorry to hear about that. I know what its like to have an accident that ruins plans for a lovely time. I had an accident breaking my right wrist 2 years ago which ruined my plans for a great 30th birthday at Blackpool Pleasure Beach so I decided to have a nice day with my best friend in Blackpool instead which was great.

I'm sure something will be sorted for you about the holiday. It seems my holiday is gonna end up postponed or cancelled as I've broke a bone in my left hand which could possibly need surgery but will have to wait and see what they say tomorrow :(

Definitely only delayed! I was actually in a wheelchair for one trip over there, I got really sick right before we went but decided to put off surgery until I got home,
It effected my legs as the head and pressure caused me to have pain down my hips,
The gutting thing was it was on disney wedding and honeymoon!!
I walked down the aisle and For that day stayed on my feet, but rested lots.
The rest of the trip was very much in and put the chair, ( not how I imagined it)

I have to have surgery tomorrow for my left hand which I'm sure will be a quick one with it being a day surgery. The good news is I'll still be able to fly to Florida next which is great so the holiday is still on which I am happy to hear :)

Thought I'd give an update on what's been happening this past week. The operation that was supposed to happen last Wednesday got postponed to the following Friday and then had a phone call on Thursday to say that due to some emergencies, the operation was cancelled so they booked an appointment for me at the fracture clinic on the 22nd of March which is after the holiday. They did say that I can still fly to Florida which is good.

I was quite concerned about what to do about my hand during the holiday as I didn't want the bone to heal incorrectly even though it is bandaged up but I was told that the discussion between doctors on how to treat the small fracture was a split decision as one doctor said it needed pinning and one other doctor said it didn't so it probably won't need surgery after all and will probably heal on its own. Luckily I got a strap from boots to give the hand some support which should help.

I'm sure I'll be able to have a lovely time in Florida despite my left hand. Its not long now till I'm there. I'm so excited and can hardly wait :)

Thats Great news.

When I was 15 I had a plate in my arm snap and they left it 2 weeks of me going to school as normal before they could fix it. Which was in Half Term
