I Can Go To.....

I didin't want to be the one to bring this up but my auntie had a mastectomy at Christmas and was told she couldn't get insurance for 12 months following her op. She's 70 so not sure if this went against her :confused3

We aren't planning to go until 2010 but planning ahead always helps! Thanks for the info anyway :)

Claire ;)

Thank you all so very much for your replys. I will enlighten you all a little more as some of you have asked a few questions. Iwas diagnosed 2 weeks after returning from disney last year and we had already booked the trip for this september before last years trip! We were going to cancel and the breast care nurse told us not to as my treatment may be finished in time for us to go, if not she would write a letter so that we could get our deposit back. It has given us all something to look forward to and helped us stay positive as the last 8 months have been very hard. I have had 8 lots of chemotherapy at 3 weekly intervals, a mastectomy on 23rd April and finally I have just got to have 20 sessions of radiotheraphy, which will start in a couple of weeks.

The breast care nurse is sorting out the insurance for me as they are aware of the companies that will do insurance, so as yet I dont have any details.

Im having such fun planning and cant wait:) :)

Finally if you are in disney when we are feel free to come up and say hello, I will be easy to spot, just look for a woman with very short hair :lmao: with a man who is 6'4" and we will have DD with us who has Downs syndrome and is in a wheel chair.:thumbsup2

I also intend to make a green mickey head to put on my bag.
