"I Can" and "I Will" Go To The World...UPDATED 10-9-10 WITH PICTURES!!..

Ok so we were leaving Animal Kingdom for Downtown Disney....

Our problem was that there are not any buses that go directly to Downtown Disney from Animal Kingdom. Our initial thought was to grab a bus to Port Orleans French Quarter and then take the boat to Downtown Disney. We love the boat and when we have stayed at Port Orleans it was the biggert draw for us. But when we arrived, there was a huge line way outside the que for Port Orleans and a bus had just pulled away. But, there was a Caribbean Beach bus sitting, waiting to pull away so we jumped on there. And it was a training bus. And we past Pop Century on the way. And it was slow. But in our defense, we did not really think about where we were in relation to where we were going and we should have just gone back to Pop and transferred there. But it the Pop stop at Animal Kingdom was in section C whereas we were in section B (I think) so the thought never crossed our minds! Not that we were in a huge hurry but it's just the DUH factor that bugs me!

So anyway, we get to Caribbean Beach and we get off at the second stop, wait about five minutes, get on another bus, go back past Pop Century and to Downtown Disney. We fot there about 8pm. We were not in the mood for shopping and Skye's feet were hurting from her flip flops so we just headed to Wolfgang Puck Express. Tyler moaned about it as soon as he realized where we were going. You see, Tyler's last and only experience with Wolfgang Pucks was about three or four visits ago and hr got a pizza and afterwards was sick in the room (ya, call-mousekeeping-in-the-middle-of-the-night sick) and he swears it was the food. So he was none too happy. I asured hime he'd be alright. I stood in line with Skye while Grammy called Pa and Tyler went to the bathroom. It was a pretty huge line! While there I heard a couple fighting, a family with three kids in which the mom was threatening the oldest kid, and a kid saying how boring this was!!!! Can you believe it??? Well, we finally figured out what everyone wanted and Skye and Grammy went to sit down. Tyler stayed with me. We ordered the rotissiere chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans, a mac & cheese, and spaghetti and meatballs. For dessert we had a creme brulee (Grammy found a love for it on their last trip whcih was their first with a dining plan), a brownie and a sugar cookie...and then we had a botle of water and two pops. Now Skye has not met a mac & cheese she doesn't like so she ate a lot of it...but she said it wasn't the best. It was kind of dry I think. More like cheese melted onto the pasta that a cheesey sauce. Skye, Grammy, and I ate it. The spaghetti and meatballs...well, weird. The pasta was fine...nothing special, nothing bad...but the meatball was like a pile of mish on top of the pasta and sauce. Very odd??? We scooped it off and we all ate off of it. The real winner was the chicken and the potatoes! Tyler absolutely loved it...and ate most of the chicken I think. We all had a little, but believe me when I say "a little". Grammy and I ate the potatoes and the beans...mmmm,mmmmm,mmmm! We shared the creme brule between me and Grammy. It was good but cold...I mean not even the top was a little warm...but it was still good. The water, brownie, and the cookie went back to the room with us...we were just too full. Our receipt says we rang out at 8:58pm and it took a while to get our food so I imagine we did not leave until close to 10pm. The cost was $64.22 all for three counter service credits...now that is a great use of credits! ALthough next time, we will skip the spaghetti and possibly the mac & cheese for other options...the chicken, however, will stay on the list!

We headed back to the bis stop around the back of the building. Skye was a little cold but I thought it felt great after being so hot all day. We had to take the kid's pictures with the Christmas statues before we got to the bus stop...

We got to the bus stop and waited for about five minutes...seems to be a trend today...and filed on. We all got seats but it was a crowded bus! Skye fell asleep on Grammy's lap on the ride. After our stop at the other side, we were headed back to Pop for the night. I don't know what it is about traveling from Downtown Disney to anywhere, but it always seems like the longest ride.

We were back in the room by 11pm and it did not take long for everyone to be changed and in bed sound asleep!

Day #2 arrived bright and early...my alarm went off at 6am and I hit snooze for about half an hour. I jumped in the shower and then Grammy did. We were out of the room by 7:30am.

The kids liked that our room was right behing Mickey's butt...

We took some pictures around on our way out...

We stopped at Everything Pop to fill up our mugs and then headed for the Magic Kingdom bus. It was open today from 8am (extra magic hour) until midnight. We waited a little bit but two busses showed up together so everyone got on and mst got seats. We arrived at Magic Kingdom and bag check wasn't too bad and neithe rwas the line to get in. Our first stop was slated for Main Street Bakery.

The menu...

We for a Cinnamon Roll, a milk, and an egg crossant sandwich as one meal and then another cinnamon roll and a crossant as snacks. We checked out of there at 8:25am having spent $18.95 in credits. Grammy really liked her sandwich...it was hot and fresh. Skye loved her crossant...warm, light and flakey. Ty and I dod ok woth our cinnamon rolls but they used to be better. Now they are dummied down I think...they used to be so much better!

After breakfast we took some oblligatory pictures of the Castle...

...on our way to Tomorrowland. We headed towards Buzz....

...where we grabbed some fast passes and then jumped in the non-existant line!

I won this time...I rode with Skye and Tyler rode with Grammy...I think becasue he figured she'd be easy to beat. They rearranged the dump shop at the end since we were there last...

We went over to Stitch. Now, let me explain. When it first opened we were Annual Pass holders and were there for the preview. Skye was too little so Tyler and I went and Lou stayed out with Skye. Tyler had never been when it was Alien Encounter. Lou and I had been on our honeymoon but did not know anything about it at that time (that pre-DIS, etc...for me) and it scared the crud out of us! So we were interested to see what the did with out favorite little alien. Let's suffice to say, Lou did not go on becasue Tyler wouldn't go back on and after he heard our description, he felt no need. But Skye was big enough and she loves Stitch (she has a luau birthday party one year and Stitch was part of the theme) so she wanted to go. tyler tried to talk her out of it. Now, he cannot possibly remember anything about it and if he does, it is with the fear of a six year old not an eleven year old. He is just so cautious about things! Ok, that is the first explanation...which leads to the second explanation...of the title of my report. "I Can" would be Skye becuase now SHE CAN! For most things...and Tyler is "I Will" becasue he did...A LOT! He did go on a lot of things I never dreamed he'd go on...some of them willingly!!! Ok back to our report...

So we did Stitch. Skye freaked out at first because the way the attraction starts is sort of in time with the harness coming down but she felt that the harness should be down before the thing started and kinda spazed a little...until it came down. And then the little freak Loved it! Can you believe it?!?!?!?! Tyler wondered aloud at what he was afraid of...but still didn't think it was much wirth wasting time on...popular concensus!

Then we headed over to the laugh floor...no line to get into the holding area and as we walked into the holding area the video explaining came on...

Tyler wants to get on screen so badly...and it never happens. But he is trying to perfect his seat choices to optimize his chances...maybe someday he'll succeed. Skye really liked Sam & Ella and the naming of the capitals.

From there we rode the TTA. We love this ride.

Then we went back to use our Fast Passes for Buzz. Ty rode with me this time...he won...but in my defense, he was steering and he's horrible at it!

The kids wanted to ride Astro Orbiter. Grammy doesn't do that ride...remember, afraid of heights. And it is usually such a slow loading ride that we usually don't do it. the line was a little bit long but we have seen it so much worse so we waited for that while Grammy ran for Fast Passes for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. We were going to meet at the Tea Cups but were to call whomever got there first.

So we waited about ten minutes to get int the elevators and then we were on the ride.

The elusive picture of me...I missed Skye, I was aiming for us both but I am just not very good at that self portrait thing!

So after our space tour, we headed over to the Tea Cups. I cannot do spinny rides anymore or I am done for the day. So I let Ty and Skye go by themselves. They had to wait for one ride to end and then another whole ride to go before their turn. On the ride before theirs, Alice came over and found a little girl and her mom to ride with.

And then it was their turn...

All this time Grammy is trying to call us and we are trying to call her and no one is getting anythign but voice mail. Grammy is getting crabby about it...this is one of hte things that we face off about...she is very impatient...or maybe it is that she is very impatient about different things than I am. It ended up that about when the kids were getting off of the ride, we found Grammy near the exit. She couldn't see us becasue she was onthe other side from where I was standing, waiting. So all's well that ends well, right? She told us that it was crazy crowded over there! Uh-oh, not again, we were really hoping we would miss all the Spring Breakers...guess not!

Well Fantasyland was starting to get crowded now...it was about 10:30am. We walked through Fantasyland and Snow White did not have too bad a line(which we though we'd take advantage of) so we waited about ten minutes to ride.

Skye was not walking past PhilHarmagic without going in...so we did.

We walked right in and in a couple of minutes we were in the theater. The kids love this one...it was the first 4-D movie that Tyler would actually wear the glasses all the way through and not hide for...no, I'm telling you the truth...he has some irrational fears, I'm telling you! However, the two little kids next to us HATED it!!!! They were a baby and one about, mayne two and then screamed through the whole thing...and the parents made no attempt to leave or to calm them...I'm pretty good at tuning other people out but still, geeze!

By now it was time that we could get more fast passes so the plan was that Grammy would run to Splash Mountian for them while the kids and I got lunch at Columbia Harbour House...until after she left and I realized that we could not do that without a room key...which Grammy had to get the fast passes with...so I sent Tyler to catch up with Grammy and as soon as she got the first fast pass to grab it and quickly bring it back to me...the place was filling up fast! Well, if you know Tyler, he does not have a "fast" speed. So, while Skye and I were waiting for them the town crier comes out in front of Columbia Harbour House and was talkig to Skye about what a town crier is and what they do and he saw her birthday button (oh ya, I forgot to mention that she got that at check-in and it had afforded her lots of attention so far) so he did his thing and called peple over to announce that six years ago a beautiful princess was born in the kingdom and then he sang his version of happy birthday to her. She loved it...

Ty and Grammy eventually showed up after fighting the crowds again in Frontierland and I went to get food while they got a table...right here...

Tyler came down to help me. We ordered at 11:39am. We had an 8 piece chicken nuggets with fried, a shrimp platter with fries and coleslaw, an anchors aweigh sandwich with chips, and a kid's mac & cheese with fries and a cookie. We had a kids diet coke, a large coke, a large diet coke, and a bottle of water. For dessert we has two apple crisps and a chocolate cake. Our total would have been $51.72. No, we probably would not have ordered four drinks of three seperate desserts but it wasn't a problem for us.

Skye's lunch...typical Disney Mac & cheese that she loves...and it is creamy enough to dip your fries into too...bonus!

Grammy's meal...I did not have any of it but she ate it all and did not complain so I am guessing it was good.

Tyler's food...they loved the chocolate cake and the water came with us for later.

And this was the reason we were here...my meal. This has got to be the best tuna sandwich I have ever had. The apple crisp was really good too and somethign different than a lot of the other counter service dessert options.

We left full and happy. I think the chips and the cookie went with us for later.

After lunch we went to the Haunted Mansion and walked right into the stretching room. Ty rode with me, Skye with grammy. Great as usual...and somehow, this is not nor has it even been one of Tyler's irrational fears...go figure???

We headed over to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad to use our fast passes. Oh and have I mentioned how nice it was to not be looking for or pushing a stroller around??? Well, it was really nice! Skye has been waiting and measuring for this ride for years. Tyler has had to ride alone for the past two trips because she was not big enough. And even though she knew she was not big enough, she would have to go get measures each and every time! Well this time she was big enough and she knew it! But she was getting a little worried as we got closer. She rode with Grammy...again, the chicken factor. Ty and I got the first seat in the first car...as we started out I could her Skye wining a little but as we came over the top after the tunnel, she was screaming and laughing her butt off! She loved it! We'd definately be back!

From there we headed to Splash Mountian for our fast passes there. We still has a little line even with the passes though. Tyler has never been on this...because even though he was big enough a long time ago, the only part of it he could ever see was the hill and he couldn't believe there was something else worth riding for. Skye had seen the hill too but she is not the same kind of chicken that Tyler is...so she did not put up much of a fight...or else, she was just feeling so high from her big girl ride on Big Thunder that hse had all her courage mustered up! So we get in and again Ty and I get the front seat in the car. I sat down and my butt was soaked! So they still did not believe us that there was more to it than just a hill...so when we got inside, they were pleasantly surprised. But everytime they couldn't see what was coming or it felt like there might be a hill coming they both wined a little...then relaxed when they realized it wasn't THE hill. They really liked it...until the final drop...but, neither one of them hated it altogether...not that we made it back to Splash Mountain in our eight day trip but I don't think they'd fight too hard if someone said they wanted to go...I just know they wouldn't volunteer it!

We decided at this point to hop the train in Frontierland to Toon Town.

We decided to wait for Goofy's Barnstormer even though it was a 30 minute wait. I don't think it was that long but it wasn't short either!

We looked around in the County Bounty because Skye was looking for a crown...one of the little ones...she gets a new one each trip...but they did not have one.

We headed up towards Main Street and decided that Ty and Grammy woudl rin for fast passes for Jungle Cruise because that is the longest line...how come??? And Skye and I would go up Main Street shopping for her crown and we'd meet them somewhere in the stores connected to Casey's. And then we would head out. Well, Skye and I found her crown and she bought it. And right about when we were finishing up, Grammy called and we met up with them.

Ok, we left off meeting on Main Street with the intention of leaving for the afternoon...which is not normally our thing. But as luck would have it, it was almost 3pm...and you know what that means right?

PARADE!!!

We happened upon some empty seats on the stairs in front of City Hall and the kids grabed curb right in front of us next to a garbage can. It was a perfect spot for te beginning of the parade!

The kids sat here...

Here's kiddie-corner from where we were sitting...

And to the side of us is where the parade comes from...

And shortly after we sat down, the parade sarted...

As soon as the parade was over, we stopped at the popcorn cart for a bucket of popcorn to go! The kids collect them and we will carry it around the rest of the time to dump dining plan pop corn into and it also came in handy for storing cakes and such that were left over from meals.

For some reason I do not have a picture of it but it has the Muppets on it in their Give A Day - Get A Day attire...but Miss Piggy is missing...the kids wee puzzled by that. It was $4.50.

And then we headed out to the Pop bus stop. We got on one pretty quickly and were back in our room soon. The kids and I changed into our swim suits. Grammy was going to take a nap...that's what they do on vacation...nap and eat...not us! Tyler headed to the arcade to use our 100 points on our game card we got with the package. Skye and I headed to the pool. We swam for a while until Tyler showed up. He got a whole three games out of it or something like that...he would have spent more money but he did not bring any and I was not encouraging it...we have arcades back in Illinois and the boy and his father own almost every gaming system out there so why waste the time of money. So he jumped into the pool, found some frineds, and was happy. In a while Skye and I were done so we grabbed our things and headed back to the room to change. On the way, Skye found what she was waiting for...the hair wrap girl. We did not have any cash on us and she does not take room charges so she had to wait. It is $2.00 per inch plus beads at various cost. When we got to the room, Grammy was still alseep so we changed quietly, Skye grabbed a cookie form an earlier meal...

...and we headed back to the pool with Tyler's dry clothes. We went to the pool to tell Ty where we were and that when Skye was done we were goign to grab some food so he would need to get out then and go get into his dry clothes. Skye picked out hot pink and black for her colors and some beads to match and some jingle beads for the end. Her hair has grown a lot since the last time she got her hair wrapped...it was $38.00 in all...fifteen inches of hair and beads....

As Skye was finishing up I told Tyler it was time to get dry and Grammy showed up...ready to eat.

We headed into Everything Pop and decided to share. We an order of Penne Cicken Alfredo, an adult's cheese pizza, a white cupcake with rainbow frosting, a Tie Dye Cheesecake, a Powerade, and a bottle of water.

The Penne was really good...Skye even ate the white noodles, Tyler loved the chicken...no sauce of course. The kids shared the pizza. We all shared the desserts...the cupcake was soft and moise and the rainbow frosting was wonderful! And the Tie Dye Chesecake was really good...Ty and I mostly shared that...and it leaves your mouth a very odd color!

The total would have beem $27.01 had we not been able to use the 2 quick service meal credits on it...

It has been a long week so far...and it is only Wednesday! First off...and best of all..

BASEBALL IS OVER!!!

Tyler's team had their last play off game last night and they lost...should they have? Probably not...but I guess that saying "On any given day..." goes both ways. But that game was the game to see who got the bye going into the championship game. So we're done with that.

Second...we had no power from Friday around 4pm until Tuesday at 4am. You never really realize how much you rely on something until it is gone! No refridgerator, no stove, no microwave, no TV and no internet!!!! Yikes...luckily, one of my aunts that lives near by had power and an almost empty freezer in the garage that we took all our frozen food to but we lost a lot of refridgerated things...and on Sunday night the guy across the street got his power back so lent us his generator so we were able to have a few things overnight on Sunday. Monday was increadibly HOT so a powerful fan borrowed from a friend really helped out.

Ok...so, barring any more power outages, I should be able to get back here.

So now all we have going on is Skye's swimming lessons during the day (so does not involve me) and gymnastics/cheer-tumble. She got promoted to Bronze II for gymnastics and Intermediate Cheer-Tumble for next session (that starts next week) so she was really proud of herself!

WOW, I feel like I have nothing to do!

Oh, and guess what I got via e-mial at two different addresses again this morning???

ANOTHER PIN...that we cannot use! one of the Monster 40% off ones...hope they keep coming though becasue there are some plans in the works but I will not get to that until the end of this trip report so hang in there becasue I will need lots of advice and opinions on that one!!!

Hi Sherry I got all caught up!!! Great report!!! The kids are at such fun ages and it must be nice to not have to haul the stroller along!!!! Nice for getting into a new refurb room at POP!! I like the new decor too! We stayed there back in 2007 and really liked it and really liked the bus service! We only got to use the pool once because it was January, so I like seeing the pool pics!! You guys are rockin' the QSDP credits!! I have looked into that DP, it seems like a pretty good deal especially since you get mugs with it too! Great safari pics and the monkeys! I love watching those guys up on those ropes!! Fun day at MK too!! Funny how Tyler doesn't mind the Haunted Mansion!!:rotfl: The oldest boys confuse me sometimes, my son Gabe is hard to figure out sometimes!! Yeah! for eating at CHH!! I LOVE that tuna sandwich too and the Apple Crisp looked yummy!!!! How sweet of Skye to get sung to as well! Sounded like a great day so far, you guys got a lot done!!!

Sorry about your power!! :sad2:

I am so jealous of your pins... I never get them, but it's probubly better as we can't go right now, but hopefully I will get one for next year:wizard:

You know, we were thinking we would miss the Deluxe Dining plan becasue that is all we ever used before (the kids and I had it on our last two vacations that were almost two weeks each and loved it!) and we thought we'd miss going to all those table service venues. But we ended up really liking it. I think at the very least, we will pay for the QSDP in the future (unless they start taking things away from it or hiking the cost up too much. The dining plans just let me be less in control of what we are eating...and on vacation, we all benefit from that! I mean, normally we would probably only have grabbed two, maybe three, mugs and the kids would have fought over them. We normally would not use eight snacks in a day but it would not usually be becasue we did not want to but rather becasue I'd be watching the prices. And we would probably be sharing drinks at meals (which we did a lot of but then we would have bottled water or Powerade to take with us for later too) and we most likely would not have bought any desserts at meals...so basically, we may have been able to scrimp and scrounge for a little less but it is vacation and letting everyone order what they wanted (with a little guidance in some spots) really makes us all a lot happier. And if well planned out, and I LOVE planning, I think we made out on the plan. Now, that's not to say we won't jump on the DDDP if the opportunity presents itself in the future but I am pretty sure that even if we want to do some table service meals we will at least have the QSPD in the future.

And ugh! Last night we had another big storm...the kids and I were at gymnastics and it was nice and sunny when we got there around 5pm...around 5:15pm as Skye's class was starting parents started coming in talking about how bad it was outside...about 6pm they took us all into the basement! Now, I don't mind a storm (although I am getting really sick of sitting in a closed up house in the rain when we'd rather be at the pool!) but I don't want to blow away or lose power! Apparently tornados were seen around...seems to have missed us but geeze!

Ya, we cannot use them either and I don't seem to get them when I need them...in fact, we recently started being in on the secret society of PIN getters. I just hope I keep getting them up tio when I need one for...

I know, I know...I am taking too long! And I just got done telling you about how I was coming into some free time in very near future...and I still have not updated anything!!!

But it is for good reason!

LOU GOT A JOB!!!!!

And he literally, he was told about it by an old friend, went over there (five minutes from home), and started the next day!!!! It is not construction and it doesn't pay anywhere near what he would make as a Union Carpenter but it is a steady job with a steady pay check, and benefits and such! And best of all, I think he is really glad to be in the real world again and doing something. But he has been in training and was supposed to be doing 8am - 4:30pm shifts until the end of this week...and those have turned into 6am - 6pm...which is GREAT! Whenever he gets on his regular schedule it is supposed to be 6pm - 6am on a fireman schedule...but for now, if they're offering, he's takin'!

So I have been having to take care of the house, get the kids ready for the next day, make dinner, and take anyone wherever they need to go...which is fine, I love it...but it does not leave me much tine or energy for trip reporting! I need that lap top!!!!

And I am going to see Eclipse tonight with two of my friends so it's not gonna happen tonight either!

So hang in there guys...and know I am havine fun reading along with some of your reports...but I cannot post pictures at work so I cannot update here...and I'll be around ASAP!!!

So Happy that things are looking good for your husband! Can't wait for your next update!!!:goodvibes

Patti

I'm still here guys! Don't forget about me!! And I am just as busy as ever...or more!

We just got past Homecoming (theme was Mardi Gras :joker: ) for football and cheerleading but I am now an assistant coach for Skye's cheer squad :cheer2: ...30 little girls aged five to eight...and only 9 back from last year!!! :headache:

Skye is also on a Competition Dance team this year and they just started practicing three weeks ago. There are nine girls and all but Skye are over the age of 10 (she is 6) so she is super excited. They are not doing anything super cool (well, Wisconsin Dells probably) but next year they are planning on Disneyland...I have not been there since I was like 2 years old or something like that!!! She also has her three other dance classes with her age group (ballet, tap, and jazz) and gymnastics. She's crazy busy!

Ty just has football right now...and 6th grade! But we are working on a lot of responsibility issues with him...11 has proved to be his most difficult year yet!

I just got my back fixed...in fact, still taking some wonderful meds for it. I was almost unable to move for a few days there...and I don't know why! Pretty much better now though!!!

Lou is still working. He's not thrilled with it becasue it cuts into football (he's an assistant coach and on the board for the organization) but he's been working it out.

We have another trip in the works...see my signature...but I am not ready to talk about it yet...I have to finish this trip report!!!! It might take me forever but I will do it!!!

Thanx for sticking around...

I know it's been a long time but I did tell you I was going to finish! So where were we????

Oh ya, we ate sort of dinner and hopped a bus back to the Magic Kingdom for the evening. We didn't wait too long and we were walking into a crazy crowded Main Street. It was about 7:30pm when we got there and people were already sitting for Spectromagic at 9pm. So we walked up Main Street looking for a spot to sit. Well, we found a spot on the bridge into Tomorrowland not too far back form the action and in a perfect place to see Tink fly for Wishes. So we sat, along with a lot of other people. Tyler and I ran to Casey's Corner for the rest of dinner around 8pm. We got two hot dog combos (hot dog and fries), two cracker jacks, and 2 large drinks. We were in line for about 18 minutes and then only one of the topping bars had cheese...which was, of course, the one on the Main Street side and we were on the other side. So we fought our way over there for cheese. Our total there was $21.41 or 2 meal credits.

But unfortunately I have no pictures of this meal becasue as we were sitting down to eat...about an hour after we had initially sat down with a lot of other people...a cast member came by and said we could not sit there...REALLY!?!?!?!?! Now this guy had been walking around there back and forth the whole time we were there. I know he had seen us prior to this. Is there a reason he had to wait until 1.) we had food spread out to eat and 2.) just about all other sopts were taken already!!!! REALLY!?!?!?!?! So, we gathered up our stuff and moved to the sidewalk near where we were but about 37 million people back just to finish eating. We were none too happy. We would not have minded so much if he had told us right after we sat down but he walked back and forth in front of us many times without saying anything!

We finished eating and decided we were not going to be able to see much from here (the kids like to be up in the front) so we'd take advantage of everyone else being on Main Street and go play in Tomorrowland. At 8:50pm we were riding Buzz with no wait twice. We also rode the TTA.

We saw that the parade was finishing up on Main Street so we headed that way. We decided to hang out on the Tomorrowland side of the same bridge for Wishes. No one had a problem with us sitting there. We had a bit of a wait but most everyone else was waiting Wished out too.

A family from Ohio came and sat next to us. Skye spilled one of out Cokes and one of us said something about cleaning up the "pop" and the mom in the other family askd if we were from Chichao because we said "pop"...and from there, the kids had buddies. Tink flew right over us...it was the first time Skye had seen her fly and by far the best seats Ty has ever seen her from. Wishes was great as usual. Unfortunately I do not have any pictures from this evening. We really were kind of short on pictures this whole trip.

After Wishes we headed back into Tomorrowland and went to the Laugh Floor and on Stitch again...with no wait on either.

Then we headed over to Frontierland. We sat at the end of the parade route to watch and Skye was dozing in and out. About half way through the parade, Ty and Grammy left to go ride Jungle Cruise while Skye and I stayed to watch the end of the parade...she was awake once it started. When Spectromagic was over, Skye and I walked, very slowly becasue she was very tired, up through Adventureland and to a bus stop. We got to the bus stop about 11:45pm. There were two bus stops for Pop Century and we got into the shorter line but we still waited forever. This is one of the times I sort of missed the stroller. On one hand, SKye could have sat and would have fallen asleep which would have been god...but then she would have been a pain when she had to get up and close the stroller to get on the bus...so I still have mixed feelings on the stroller thing. Well, back to the story. It wasn't that the lines were so huge but that there were no buses for Pop Century coming in....none!

We finally got back to the room around 12:30am and we were sound asleep when Ty & Grammy got back around 1am. Then had ridden Pirates and Jungle Cruise twice before leaving.

So you waited that long for that??? Sorry for the lack of pictures on this installment. All in all, we had a good day with waits at Magic Kingdom using the Extra Magic Hours and fast passes. Stay tuned for tomorrow...

So after our long night at Magic Kingdom we had an early wake-up call. I was up at 6:45am, then Skye got up, then Grammy, and the Ty. We were out of the room by 8:15am and took some pictures around Pop Century again...

He's one of our little friends.

Grammy by the Foose Ball guys.

Our pal Goofy!

The biggest Yo-yo ever!

LOL....I just previewed my post and it looks like I was calling Tyler the biggest yo-yo ever....LOL! But here's Ty on the bus...the previous picture is the yo-yo...

We arrived at Epcot around 8:50am. We did wait a little for a bus but getting into Epcot wasn't bad. We got to the front of the ropes before they let us in.

We had decided that ty and Grammy (had to be Ty with Grammy here becasue Grammy is a little directionally challenged here) would run to Soarin' and Skye and I would meet them there. We got let in and Skye and I were taking our time looking at the topiaries...

...thinking Grammy and Ty were on their way but they were stopped again at the turn at the fountain.

So we all cought up with eachother waiting for the second rope drop and took more pictures...

We fimally were on our way into The Land Pavillion. Grammy and ty faster than Skye and I but we all met up after they pulled our fast passes and we headed into line...we waited about 20 minutes.

This was to be Skye's first voyage on Soarin' and she started to get a little worried but her friend Kronk...or at least his voice made her forget her worries. Much to Grammy's disappointment after Tyler pointed it out, we got the highest row (heights, remember?) and the kids loved teasing her about it.
So in the end, it was one of Skye's favorites! She loved it. She kept telling Grammy to let go of the harness but that wasn't happening.

After our first ride we stopped at Season's and grabbed 2 cinnamon rolls to share for $6.61 or two snack credits.

And let me tell you, while it does not look like it should be, they were much beter than the ones at Main Street Bakery this time around! It was around 9:45am.

We rode living with the land, another favorite but we liked it better with real people giving the tour.

We then headed through Innoventions and played the fire house game...it was fun...Ty and Grammy's team won. Nothing else looked like anything we wanted to do right then so we walked through to the butterfly garden

...and right into the Fairy garden...

Tink

Rosetta (Skye's favorite)

Terrance

Vidia

Fawn

In the Fairy Garden and then in Tiana's garden (which I think I have pictures on Grammy's camera so if/when I find them I will post them) they had activities fort he little kids to do. It had to do with finding the fairy in the picture and rubbing a crayon on page over some metal piece on that fairy's sign and the name comes through. Skye did both and her prize was some stickers and seeds to plant at home. She had fun doing it. While she did that, Tyler was butterfly watching.

Soon it was time to check in for our ADR so Skye and I went to check us in while Grammy and Ty took their time. We snapped abunch of pictures on the way to Morocco!

Dolphins in the water on the way to the bridge to World Showcase...

America from the bridge...

The Kim Possible kiosk on the bridge...

The flowers around the water crossing the bridge...

Mickey & Minnie welcoming us to World Showcase...

We would eventually visit all these places but we were in a little bit of a hurry so we just snapped the pictures and went on our trek to Morocco.

Canada...

The United Kingdom...

Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and The Tick Tock Crock outside of the U.K. I think...

So we continued our journey to Morocco.

We ran into Cinderella and Prince Charming and Aurora and Prince Philip...

Then we came to France...

...and see who was there...

...Lumiere and Chip...

...Mrs. Potts and Cogsworth...

and Belle and The Beast...

And then we finally arrived in Morocco...

And we headed back to Restaurant Marrakesh...

This was one of the meals we had decided to pay out of pocket becasue the kids and I loved it in the past and we thought Grammy would like it too. We also thought it would be one of those places we could have lunch at and share so as to not to spend too much mney out of pocket.

Skye and I checked in for our 11:30am ARD but they were not open yet so we sat outside and waited for Grammy and Ty to catch up. They had run for Test Track fast passes...and Tyler still was saying he was not going on it!

Skye had grabbed her mask in Morocco while we were waiting...

So we were seated back along the wall as you walk into the room. Our waiter was Hichem. he brought our bread...

...and took our drink orders. Grammy and I had water becasue it was really hot out! And Tyler and Skyler had a Diet ckoe and a Watermelon Delight...

We love the bread here and I don't know if it is just that we have always had a seating as they open or not but it is always hot and still steaming...I hope it is like that all day long but somehow I doubt it. The watermelon Delight was good and refreshing. We all shared it. And somehow I do not have pictures of the rest of our meal. grammy and I shared a Seafood Bastilla and a Shish Kabob and the kids shares a Chicken Tenders and fries kid's meal. It was all very good...good as we remembered. Our one disappintment was that they bellydancer was now on a schedule that did not begin until after we left so we did not get to see her. If I find pictures or locate them from ne of our other trips I will enter them. We love Marrakesh. Granted, we have not gone all adventurous but maybe someday we will. Our bill was $44.52. Not bad for a lunch for four people!
