I broke the news yesterday

Just another one of your average days at the Chicago homestead. Weekly phone call came from Bath.

Nothing special a bit of chit-chat and gossip. I then, towards the end of the call, slipped in, "By the way, I bought into the Disney Vacation Club."

I had to hold the phone away from my ear because of the shrieking with excitement. Then I hear, "Our Ian has bought one of those Disney Vacation Clubs!"

So, the planning has begun for the next family holiday in WDW, which probably won't happen until early 2006. While having been to visit us in Chicago many times, this will be their first visit to WDW.

We're all sort of excited about this.

Gosh, and who can blame them?? We all understand that feeling

A big reason I bought into DVC was to be able to have family vacations. This way when they come to visit they can have a fortnight here in Chicago, which they love, and then a week down in WDW.

Hey Ian that's so great!
I've been too scared to tell my mum and family back in California, strange huh? I suppose I think they might make me feel guilty. But I would love to one day soon phone up my mum and say, hey, how would you like to meet us in WDW one day, and by the way, we'll pay for the accomodation? Then when we're all there I'll let her in on the secret as to why we go to WDW every year .
