I finally bought a new photo printer!! I have always wanted one since I got my digital camera last Christmas. I bought a Sony DPP-EX5. It is the new one from Sony.

I think I may return it though, and get the DPP-SV77. The one I have you hook up to your TV (or computer) to view and pic the photos. The 77 one has it's own display on it with a touch screen. I think it would be much more "convienent" instead of having to hook it up to the TV. It is 100.00 more or so......but I think it would be worth it.

Anybody have either of these models?? Any opinions??

Thanks.....Lisa

Remember that when you look through that little screen you will not get a very good idea as to the brightness, color hue, etc and you will probably need to adjust every picture before you print it. If you are only looking through the little screen you will end up printing a lot of pictures over and over until you get them the way you like them. Many times, when you look at the pic through the little screen on your camera, they look perfectly fine. But when you put them up on the big screen they are not. I personally think you will be wasting your money. We just bought the new canon photo printer with the 6 individual ink cartridges and are very happy with it. We also have the epson stylus photo 875cd with the card reader attached and are very pleased with it.
