I Booked My First Trip!!!

WOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH came home from work tonight and we sat down and worked out the plan. We are going in February from the 13th and staying till the 17th. We will be driving but we got the rooms for 55 a night totaling only 245 with tax. What a deal. I will get the park hoppers before then either online or at the DS!!

Woohoo Now I need to get my checklist going and make a list of everything that I need to see.... I am so excited!!!!! I can't wait to go to work tomorrow to tell all my friends. I work at the Disney Store and they all feel sorry for me that I have never been there before.

I'm happy for you. It will be a trip to treasure. There is so much to see and do that it is hard to take it all in. If you try to get to everything you will be exhausted by the end. Remember...there will probably be a next time (sooner than you think) so don't worry if you can't do it all at once.

I am really excited.... I will start a notebook here in a couple of days and sort it out by park so that I know before I get there what I have to see and in what park... I am organized so that will help.

I will be watching to get the bigger memory card for my digital camera as well. And I need to get some capris to wear down there as well. I can maybe catch those on sale.

We will definately be eating breakfast in our room, maybe just one character breakfast. I know I want to eat at Chef Mickeys and probably somewhere in Downtown Disney if Chef Mickeys isnt there. I forget where I was told it was.

But since I am almost done Christmas shopping buying things for the trip will not be an issue.... Thank goodness for year round clearance sales!!!

Chef Mickey's is located in the Contemporary.

NeverBeen, I am happy about your excitement regarding your upcoming first trip!! I am another person in the pre-planning stage. Have not booked my 2005 trip yet, but I know that once the room is actually booked, the goosebumps of excitement will start!

Where are you staying for 55/night? That's a great price!

I got the code from www.waltdisneyworld.com it is BDL it is a winter price for the resorts. I am staying at Pop Century which I am so glad about. I cant wait to see that big wheel in person.

I bought a guide today and I am gonna go through it and highlight what I need to see.

When I went to work at the DS today my boss was super happy about it... she might have some extra tickets to give me too. She is so awesome!!

She recommended that I eat at the 50s restaurant in MGM, so I will definately check that out.... I am so excited I want to pee my pants.
