So after much indecision we finally booked direct with disney last night, 8 nights at the Port Orleans French Quarter with 14 day passes and Disney Dining Plan, then we'll do 7 nights in a villa (which i'll book later on). Am so excited!!!

I think I can book my reservations today but I can't decide as i've never eaten at Disney (except for the occasional burger or ice cream!)

Are these choices ok?

O'Hana's - the Polynesian
Wolfgang Puck Cafe - Downtown Disney
Liberty Tree Tavern - Magic Kingdom
Coral Reef - Epcot
Le Cellier - Canada, Epcot (have to do this as i'm Canadian!)
Boatwrights - PO Riverside
50's Prime Time Cafe - MGM

Not sure about the eight one! As we probably won't be hungry enough for a table service meal the day we arrive I am wondering whether its worth exchanging one of the above for a 'posh' restaurant like the California Grill or something like that.

Would love your opinions/advice! Thanks,

Eloise

Oh Oh Oh Oh...I am sooo jealous!
Not long returned from 7 nights at POFQ and I just want to go back!
We were on the dining plan too. Did go up to Boatrights (best to have ADR's)when we wanted a relaxing evening and did not want to go far. It is very good in our opinion and the portions huge. Just depends if you want to use credits there or go out for other experiences! It was lovely just to walk up there in the evening - good on that 2nd night when you are feeling sooo tired.
Le Cellier was disappointing for us, but I would still go as I think it must have just been a rare experience.
50's Prime time is great fun.
The rest we haven't been to, but plan on doing so next time!
We also went to Californian Grill which was amazing, Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic package which was ok and fit the bill, Kona which was one of our favourites and we will return and Boma for breakfast!

Want to go now!

We've only had dinner once at Le Cellier as part of the candlelight processional package and both Dh and I were disappointed. I think it's because we both ordered the prime rib and it wasn't very good! The rest of the food was fine. I really enjoyed the cheddar cheese soup and both DD's really enjoyed the chocotate 'moose'!

We have had several absolutely fabulous meals at Le Cellier :)

'Ohana I really enjoyed for the atmosphere, antics and the quirky food (though I have not been since they changed the menu)

50s PTC - we loved it here - you have to go with a bit of a sense of humour but we had a scream here and the food was pretty good (I had read it was terrible but that was not my experience)

Liberty Tree Tavern - we didn't have a great meal here. It was fine but not brilliant. We were probably ust unlucky though as I have heard good reports generally :thumbsup2

WPC and Coral Reef we are doing in August so I will report back if you want me to and you remind me :teeth:

I just arrived back from Disney too. (I also was married there 1st March) It seems like a distant memory now...
I celebrated my birthday (the day before my wedding) at O'Hana and the food was fantastic. If you like marinated chicken, steak and huge prawns, go here! all you can eat for about $25. Yum!
Another great place is The Cape May cafe at the Beach club resort. We had dinner there 3 times, it was that good! all you can eat buffet again.
