I booked my flights yesterday at around 2pm after my neurotic should I shouldn't I debate that was going on in my head. I have been waiting for a deal and worrying that the good price I see today may not come back tomorrow. Well I finally did it and I am so glad I did. I paid a pretty penny let me tell you, but 3 hours later the same flight plan was nearly 1000.00 more. Was that divine intervention or what. Now at least if I do see a better fare than what I got, I will just rebook and use my credit on some romantic weekend with my hubby somewhere. I guess the dis angels were watching over me.

Same here. I should back up and say that I hesitated when the Southwest low fares were initially released and 3 hours later I lost the $59 each way (the prices tripled!!). So then a few days later Airtran ran the $59 each way special and I snagged it. I checked Airtran later that night and the sale fares were already gone and in fact doubled.

Thanks everyone, It seems like we all did pretty good on air fare. I was sure doing the happy dance when I snagged those tickets when I did. My hubby was sure glad I did it when I did. He said he had been listening to a report saying prices were just going to be going up up up.

I expected to pay more as the rates are going up, but my times just were not available and finally yesterday my times I wanted were available and I finally bought my tickets. Considering my trip is only a couple of months away, I was getting a little nervous.

I was getting nervous too and my trip is in July. Hello my name is neurotic and I have fallen off the wagon.


I get a little crazy about planning, after all it is our Disney trip.
