Hi All -

Is the pool awesome?

Do they offer mugs like at Disney?

It looks like a beautiful resort!

The pool is beautiful but there is no slide. You have to go visit the other two hotels if you want a slide. There is beach volleyball and a great wet area. They have souvenir ceramic mugs of all sorts and they have refillable mugs at the parks which are good forever.

it is a beautiful hotel.

check out their lobby when you get there, strikingly beautiful.

the morning breakfast buffet is great.

food service around the pool is very well run and attentive to the guests.

you'll have a wonderful time staying there.

Is there a cost for the morning breakky?

There are two places to eat breakfast at RPH. The more expensive option is at the Islands Dining Room. It is a big buffet for around $20/person. The other option is the continental style buffet in the lounge which allows you to buy individual items like bagels, croissants, juice, cereal, etc.

There are also other options. Pastamore in Citywalk has reasonable breakfast items including a breakfast pizza. IOA has Croissant Moon and Cinnabon and Universal has Boulangerie which has excellent egg, cheese and bacon/ham croissants.

$16.95 for the breakfast buffet.
show your ap or aaa card for the ap% discount

Are you allowed to visit the other 2 hotels as a guest of the RPR? Can I take the boats to visit the other hotels? I am guessing that I would have to stop at Universal and then transfer to a boat heading towards the other hotels?

And how often do the boats ferry people to Universal?

Yes to all your questions. Or you can walk. It is about a 20 minute walk from RPH to HRH. The boats go about every 10-20 minutes depending on time of day. There is also a bus that would go from RPH to PBH to HRH to the parks.

You are familiar with disney so here goes...

Royal pacific is like a disney deluxe resort, maybe a bit nicer. Great atmosphere, restaurants and staff. Wonderful pool area.

Easy to get to parks and City walk. (boat or walk).

You are going to love it.

All the OP's are right. This is my fav of the 3 on-site(not becuase of pricing only)I just love it there.Easy to find everything, beautiful everything.
You wonn't be dissapointed.

I give it:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

THe breakfast buffet is great, and not overpriced, but bring a big appetite.
The conntinental breakfast is pretty good, for smaller appetites.
Just remember, you donn't have to get the buffet at The Islands, they have a regular menu to choose from also...
