"I bet they get Charmin" A May 2014 Girls Trip **04/03 THE END**

YAY!!!!! An update!!!!

LOL at some of the faces on BLSRS. I don't particularly care for it either.

I've never seen the Rainy Day Cavalcade... nor do I wish to experience a Disney day rainy enough to call for it (knocks on wood)

You have to tell us about Ohanas! I've never actually been inside the Polynesian before. We had a reservation for breakfast in July but we had to cancel it. I hear good things about it.

Oh my goodness Kaitlyn, I totally just realized I missed your comments :scared1: I am so sorry. Please forgive me.

That abbreviation just messed up my tired mind. I was like O.o But now I get it. Yeah, the faces are like "Why?" You get to the point where you can't anymore.

I could have done without it too ;)

We're definitely going to give our opinion, especially in terms of Out of Pocket price vs experience. But it was an experience for sure :)

I totally love the Haunted Mansion though I can see if you go in thinking it is like a true haunted house/macabre type scenario it could/would come off as such rather than the more fun-scary I think it was intended for

Wasn't aware one could be hypnotized into believing in gay rights ... clearly that needs to be the focus of a future Myth Busters episode ;)

I like your thought process as to the placement of Anna & Elsa vs Tink, etc. ... plus, they put Anna and Elsa in Princess Fairytale Hall and Elsa is clearly a queen not a princess

Good job getting the fast pass though! I am bummed we never got to meet with them while they met together but having met them separately I think it works out better all around

oh, glad Marie looked at the pictures and noticed the Gaston ones weren't there ... probably easier to take care of that while in Disney World rather than when you got home

oh gosh, that sounds like some crazy rain to produce mid-calf puddles! Definitely right though that once you are in that deep you are pretty committed to continuing to the other side

Oh how I miss that version of the Poly Lobby!

ooh, looking forward to hearing how the trip report got its title :thumbsup2

I've never heard anyone dislike The Haunted Mansion? :confused3

Myth Busters could totally get on the case and prove it could work ::yes::

See, it all makes sense. We just need to get Disney in on it. Queen Elsa can't be hanging out with mere princesses.

We didn't meet them separately yet. Someday, but in theory I'm sure it is much better.

And easier to do it same day that have to go back later. That Marie, always on top of things.

You've got to. No backing out. Continue onward through the puddle of doom, hope you make it out alive.

That was our first and only time seeing it. It was something though.

It's quite the story :rolleyes1 Or, quite the story you'd expect from a group of 20-something year old girls.

Disclaimer: Prepare for many food pictures.

Day 5, Part 6: "Wait, are you serious?"

It wasn't too much longer until our pager started its little vibrating/beeping dance, and we made our way over to be seated! The wait in itself actually ended up being shorter than I'd anticipated, because I'd read comments as to how the later a reservation is, the longer the wait might be. Ultimately, it really wasn't that bad though.

I was definitely looking forward to this meal, and I was so prepared for the food coma. I was not to be deterred by the complaints of pulling the chicken off the menu, although I am a big fan of chicken.

We were seated by the window, not too far from the food counter, and right next to a pole - which made it a bit tricky to get in, but we managed.

171_zps028f7da9.jpg

Look at the excitement. Waiting for food. Wanting food.

172_zps750d191f.jpg

Merranda is definitely ready. Just look at that face. It screams I'm ready.

173_zps754f807c.jpg

This meal was one that made us a bit more anxious for Veronica, seeing as it is pretty focused on meat, but she was definitely not cast aside!

174_zps92b0b291.jpg

We helped carry the bread over to the table, and I was looking forward to digging in.

And this bread, guys. This bread is glorious.

It has coconut and pineapple in it.

I do not like coconut. Amber doesn't like either.

And we both devoured it like it was our job. I definitely understood the principle that this bread does not require butter. It just doesn't.

We did, however, try to be reasonable with it - we knew there was lots more food coming.

Drink orders were brought out as well, with about half the table getting pomegranate lemonade (such love for this). This is important fact for later.

The salad was soon brought to the table.

175_zpse11aa171.jpg

We all had a bit of a taste, but I don't think anyone dug into it. I'm personally more of a Caesar salad type, myself. It was tasty, but you know - who wants greens like those when the carnivore feast is about to begin?

176_zpsf0ec528b.jpg

The potstickers were next, and those were a big hit as well. Unfortunately Eli couldn't have them as she doesn't eat pork, and of course Veronica didn't have any either, but those of us who did thoroughly enjoyed them. They were deliciously seasoned, with a perfect level of crisp, and Traci who usually hates onions was surprised to find out there were some in there.

Thankfully for Eli and Veronica, they also brought forth lettuce wraps. Which, of the two, mostly Eli enjoyed, but it seemed to be a general consensus that they were good.

177_zpsbb536a70.jpg

They also brought this plate out solely for Veronica, as she couldn't touch some of the accompaniments to the meal.

181_zps3282ff35.jpg

And of course, the vegetables, noodles and chicken wings soon came along as well!

179_zps079ce09c.jpg

I personally didn't touch the vegetables or chicken wings at all, but the noodles were very tasty. Not Teppan Edo level, but very good.

And then... the meat started.

First was the pork.

178_zps5d9fb3c8.jpg

Amber fell in love with that pork. It about reaches the strength of her admiration for Teppan Edo chicken and Mama Melrose steak.

I also really loved the pork, it was my favorite meat of the night. I was all for having more of that as soon as it would come back around.

Next up was the steak.

180_zps4b086680.jpg

It was very good and flavorful as well, though not to the level of the pork in my opinion. Definitely appreciated as well, though.

In the midst of this all, Veronica was brought her vegetarian offering.

183_zps1663fd91.jpg

As you can see, they do not skimp on anything. It's basically what you find in the veggies side, but with the addition of tofu. She enjoyed it, though she was obviously not able to finish it all - so much food!

And then, the shrimp came around.

182_zps4e4ca3db.jpg

There were three people at the table who had shrimp - Eli, Traci and Merranda.

And guys, I swear to you, they made up for the cost of the meal in shrimp consumption.

Soon, there was a pause in the meal, because they called out for participant in Hula classes!

And being the derp that I am, I decided to skip out on it because I thought it meant hula hoop. I know, I know. And I'm such a fan of hula dancing, too! Oh well.

I also became public enemy number one once the three girls who did participate - Amber, Traci and Eli - returned to the table, to find I didn't take any pictures.

I still apologize about it, because Amber still brings it up - but I just got caught up in conversation with Veronica and Merranda and didn't think to snap bad quality pictures from the distance we were at.

I did get a picture of them looking very snazzy with their leis.

184_zps435b639f.jpg

185_zps6e2e3b47.jpg

At that point we got more refills. The waiter, whom I guess was tired of individually refilling our lemonade glasses, brought a pitcher to get the job done (and the table covered in it, but I digress).

We got some more pork, a bit more steak.

And then he brought along the shrimp.

And he emptied an entire skewer divided between the three girls' plates.

A whole skewer. For those of you who haven't been to 'Ohana, they're decently sized skewers, with two branches.

And it was all emptied in their plates.

By the end of it, this is what both Merranda and Traci's plates looked like.

186_zps89072f62.jpg

They easily each had about a pound of shrimp. And thus, we made up for the cost of our meal.

But that wasn't the end of it - not even close.

Our waiter finally brought along the long awaited dessert. Our beloved bread pudding.

188_zps60a54231.jpg

He set the plate in front of Traci, and jokingly said he'd be back with the other five. Which Traci could have taken, but we decided to be reasonable and split it accordingly between the six of us.

I cut a corner for Amber, and then we took the obligatory sauce pouring picture (Amber didn't want any of that, hence getting her slice first, but look at our good placement job, you wouldn't have known it!)

189_zps80a6418f.jpg

We did away with that bread pudding in minutes, guys.

190_zps30f543a3.jpg

Look at this empty platters, and those empty plates. No more dessert. It's all gone.

Now keep in mind, 'Ohana is definitely a foodie experience. There is a lot of food, even more so than at a buffet I feel because you just get it brought to you so you don't even have to worry about fetching it yourself. And we had done our food good. Our bellies were very satisfied with the experience.

Our waiter came back around to get the empty platter, and kiddingly asked if we were ready for the second one.

And we said yes.

Guys, we said yes.

He thought we were joking.

I don't know if we were. But in the end, we were not - and he did not see that coming.

But 'Ohana is an All You Care To Enjoy experience, and it gives what it promises.

So he brought a second one along.

191_zpse8939c83.jpg

At that point, we were done. We were food crazy, and we were cracking up so bad. We could not for the life of us stop laughing. The tables around us were probably wondering what those crazy girls were doing, and if we were drunk.

192_zpsacebb6af.jpg

193_zpsa90ee2b8.jpg

It was a glorious night.

And we got rid of that second pudding with no more trouble than the first.

194_zps05d982b8.jpg

And looking at the time stamp between the picture of the first bread pudding being set on the table, and the empty platter of the second one, there is a nineteen minutes span.

In less than twenty minutes, we put away two bread puddings. Talk about efficient.

I swear, they were probably thinking, six girls, this is gonna be good, we're gonna get so much more money than what they'll eat for.

Boy did we prove them wrong.

Full and very happy, we paid for the bill and headed off to the bathroom.

At which point, we started talking about the fanciness of the resort, and jokingly talked about how they surely didn't have any of that thin, sand paper like toilet paper.

Which lead us to the conclusion that they must have Charmin'.

And who knows, maybe they do in the rooms. No such fanciness for the 'Ohana bathrooms though - which I guess makes sense. Those bathrooms must see horrific sights. We did debate adding to that rather than keeping it to our own bathrooms, but we kept it family friendly.

However, they do have better toilet paper than at the values.

And we found out in September that the Grand Floridian *does* have Charmin'. So we weren't too far off!

After out bathroom break, we were ready to head out. Originally, we'd thought about sticking around the Poly beach to watch Wishes, but we ended up deciding to just head back to our room and take it easy for the rest of the evening, so we made our way to the monorail, and rode it back to the Magic Kingdom.

195_zps3c71c716.jpg

And went right off to the bus area, which thankfully our bus pulled up before too long.

198_zps35aac3f2.jpg

Once we got back to our resort, we settled in our room and decided to have ourselves a game of Cards Against Humanity. That just went on to add more hilarity to the evening, and although this was probably one of our days that involved the least park time, I think it was personally one of my favorite days. It was, for one thing, a stellar food day, and we just had such a great time and so many laughs over all. There may have been a few frictions here and there, but ultimately, that was really what I'd been looking forward to when making the decision to bring our best friends to Walt Disney World.

Oh my goodness Kaitlyn, I totally just realized I missed your comments :scared1: I am so sorry. Please forgive me.

GIVEN that you are one of the nicest members on this board, I think I can forgive you this time ;) LMAO! But really, it's fine haha

Hmmm. All that food does look yummy, but lets be real... It's all about the meat to me, lol.

Haha, well done ya'll!!! Ohana Thinking they were gong to come out ahead on this particular table. Good on you for proving them wrong. :thumbsup2

Oh Lord, that is not where I expected the TR title to come from. :lmao:

That food looks so good. Oh my goodness. I'm literally watering at the mouth currently.

I'm HIGHLY impressed with the amount of food consumed that evening. Ya'll put me and my family to shame.

Okay, so when I first read the TR title I thought you meant CHARMIN (charming without the g) like Prince Charming, leading me to believe something would happen at maybe 1900PF with the prince or whatnot. I didn't realize you meant Charmin the toilet paper brand and now I'm laughing in the middle of my study hall.

Keep updating!!!

Omg I must try O'Hana, my boyfriend would be in Heaven there with all that food! Heck I would be too!

Your chill evening sounds nice, cards against humanity is hilarious

It would be so easy for me to fill up on that bread. I always have to restrain myself so I actually have room for everything else.

The most random craving I have in my life is those potstickers. SO GOOD OH MY GOSH. I wish for them about once a week.

Ya know, I've never had good pork at 'Ohana but the past few reports I've read said it was the best! I guess I have to go back and see for myself.

Hey! This is the place where dreams come true. If you want a second bread pudding, you get one.

:flower3: I still feel bad though, especially now that you just called me nice. I need to keep up with things better, but I'm glad you've found it in your heart to forgive me.

Oh Lord, that is not where I expected the TR title to come from. :lmao:

That pork is where it's at. Like, I don't know if I'd go just me and Marie because we're just not going to eat that much but I'd consider it for that pork.

Don't underestimate our abilities to eat. Although I really contributed the least. I don't like stuffing myself that much. We really owe it to Traci, Merranda and Eli.

Well I didn't expect your TR title to come from that small child either :thumbsup2

It was a good meal. No regrets on eating it.

My friends know how to eat. It's all that Disney walking, we just were ready for the food.

:rotfl: I'm dying because I hadn't even thought of this and now I'm wondering how many other people thought that same thing and are now like, what did you guys do?

Definitely will either tonight or tomorrow. :thumbsup2 I have to catch up on other people's TRs first though (including yours, which I keep forgetting to do!)

Go for it. Bring comfy pants and eat an early lunch in preparation ;)

It really was one of the best evenings of the trip and we all had a great time. Cards Against Humanity had us cracking up even more (after our evening of laughing so hard at dinner).

Sooo good. Bread. Yummy. I want more of it in my life.

I was really looking forward to the steak (which was why I was surprised that the pork stole my attention) so I didn't want to eat too many potstickers, but they were so good.

Huh, that's surprising. Marie and I loved the pork best. Everyone was kind of meh about the steak, but the other girls loved the shrimp. Hopefully the pork is always that good because I'd be sort of heartbroken if I went back and it wasn't.

:cloud9: Two bread puddings. That's a dream come true if there ever was one.

Joining in and trying to catch up!

What a fun trip!

:welcome: Glad to have you here and thank you!

Day 6, Part 1: "Why'd you promise that?"

The day had arrived. The first day of Star Wars Weekends was upon us and I was super excited. I got up at 6:15. That's how excited I was. Veronica also got up early to do some jogging, but everyone else didn't get up until around 6:35 or so.

And then we all left the room at 7:15. Or well, everyone but Eli left the room at 7:15 and went to get on a bus.

As you can imagine, the bus line was lengthy and by the time that we got on the bus there weren't seats. However some nice gentlemen gave us theirs and we were shortly on our way.

001_zpsdf8221c1.jpg

We took some pictures outside the park.

Oh look, it's the shirt I bought on my last Hollywood Studios day!

002_zps9db877d6.jpg

And then we headed inside.

003_zps4501906d.jpg

004_zps75ebafbd.jpg

It was really chilly that morning, so the first thing that we did was stop at the bathroom so that I could put on my leggings under my shorts. I also gave Merranda my spare cardigan that I brought in case anyone else got cold.

Then we continued onward.

005_zps60f0b334.jpg

I'm going to be so sad not to see the Hat waiting at the end on our next trip.

006_zps0c313dce.jpg

We moved along like the Stormtroopers told us to.

Where?

007_zps148c9dfe.jpg

It looks pretty empty....

008_zpsf5242b65.jpg

Nevermind, found all the people.

We weren't planning on getting into that line yet. We just wanted to see what it looked like.

At that point I glanced at the wait for Buzz and Woody and it said 15 minutes. I suggested we jump in line while everyone was busy buying merchandise.

This was a problem with Marie. In fact, we got into a spat right there about it. It turns out she'd promised Eli that we wouldn't meet any characters without her. I hadn't been aware of that fact and didn't think it was fair to stop ourselves from doing something because she'd chosen not to get up.

Marie pointed out that we hadn't met Alice the day before because of Traci. I pointed out that Alice was Traci's top character pick and Eli hadn't asked to meet Buzz and Woody. Marie said I was still upset with Eli from our argument the days prior. I said she was giving Eli special treatment because she felt bad for her. We were at a bit of an impasse, but I backed down in a bit of a huff.

Don't worry, I apologized after we'd walked to our next destination and all was forgiven between us quickly.

009_zps9dddc006.jpg

I took a nice picture of the girls.

010_zpsb673e97f.jpg

I then hopped in and we took a fab picture.

The wait time was next to nothing since everyone was over at Darth's Mall, so we pretty much walked on.

011_zpsb00ef7bb.jpg

Look at all these amazing deadpan faces.

012_zps25d607a5.jpg

I did not manage it, nor did anyone else in our car.

Also, Merranda lost our bow off of her headband on the ride. She felt terrible and paid for it while sighting that this was why she didn't wear any that couldn't be replaced. We assured her that it was okay though.

After that we went over toward the fountain by the wait time board to wait for Eli to arrive. Or at least, everyone else waited there.

I went to check out some of the stage show that was happening.

013_zps2afbc0df.jpg

014_zps254958a6.jpg

I hadn't told Marie I was going to do that though so she was like, unhappy that I left without saying anything but I apologized and showed pictures.

Eli then texted to say that she was going to be late, late enough that we'd miss our Fastpass+ if we waited for her.

So she told us to go on without her and to be honest, I wasn't upset doing so.

015_zps8b03e4b6.jpg

016_zps8ed0c02e.jpg

We got our glasses and I took a picture of the other girls:
017_zps36dc4c21.jpg

Marie suggested I try and get a we-sie with all of us in it.

018_zps08c6380e.jpg

We are all in the picture. So that's what mattered.

Traci volunteered to ride alone, so Merranda and Marie rode together and I rode with Veronica.

019_zps77e8ac65.jpg

These two cuties. Of course Marie did the best.

019_zps77e8ac65.jpg

Veronica's score and my own. I did good, for me.

After that we decided to just sit down and wait some because there wasn't anything else to do.

021_zpsad0487d6.jpg

This picture is one of Marie's favorite. Veronica sat on the ground so that I could sit on the bench. However, I was so cold that I just wanted to stand in the sun. Therefore, to the passer by it looked like Veronica was exiled to the curb.

022_zps6c795320.jpg

We headed back up to Starring Roles where we were going to wait for Eli to arrive.

She finally did and then we headed back down into Pixar Place.

023_zps0021a089.jpg

I snapped this picture after some pin trading had occurred.

And we went to go get in line for Buzz and Woody, the wait time now at 40 minutes.

Oh well, 5 out of 6 by 7:15 ain't too shabby.

Aww see, chivalry still does exist on Disney buses. :goodvibes

Wow, you know, after September it's kinda hard to picture it being chilly.

I definitely see both sides to your argument and both sides have very valid points, but ultimately I think I agree that it's not fair to make the group suffer for the actions of one whose choice was not to come. I imagine Marie just wanted to keep the peace knowing it probably would have become an issue, so I do get that.

Deadpan AND no nose fingers!!! :cheer2:

Not too shabby at all.

They were such gentlemen.

I know and it was really hot most of the time in May too but that day was just chilly.

Marie is the peacekeeper, it's very true. And outside of the situation I see both of us having a point too, but in it I was very annoyed.

My original deadpan was better, but then the people behind Merranda and me really make the picture :thumbsup2

Day 6, Part 2: "You're like a baby bird."

So anyone who has been to see Buzz and Woody knows that there are picture opportunities along the way to help pass the time and trust me, we took advantage of them. If you read my October TR you know I was particularly annoyed at these two girls in front of us who did each pose twice, by themselves and not even in a row but like one girl would go then the other then the first again. Meaning that there were four times they'd take pictures. I did not want to do that to people so at most we only had two people do each pose and then moved on.

You'll notice quickly that Traci became the only person to keep doing images. But until then, look at these cuties.

NWYuzqt.jpg

OCKnS9K.jpg

Ua3GtCI.jpg

Notice Merranda's lack of bow. Poor bow.

bc07VTO.jpg

yAKltAq.jpg

Noooo, not the box.

8Ksy8PZ.jpg

Veronica is clearly thrilled to be getting in on this action.

6oyW1sZ.jpg

4s6KFoa.jpg

OvHIwIO.jpg

Notice the addition of the sweatshirt on me.

It's Traci's and when handing it over the conversation went something like this:
Me: I'm cold. I'm so cold and I've already got my cardigan and leggings on.
Traci: Here, take my sweatshirt. I'm fine, I don't need it.
Veronica: Amber, you're like a little baby bird; we have to bundle you up to keep you warm.

JJlA4dH.jpg

Goofing off while waiting.

U8k7Gci.jpg

I told you Traci would be the only one continuing.

hCMv19B.jpg

Look at these cuties.

v9IK6SV.jpg

I like this sign. I don't know why, but I do.

W7UeLAl.jpg

Finally we got to meet Buzz and Woody. They were cool but again, being a large group there was minimal interaction.

After that we decided to go and grab a spot for the Motorcade. There was still like 45 minutes before it was supposed to start so we thought that we'd be able to get something.

Hahahahaa. We were so wrong. Every front row area was taken so we got behind some people and decided to split for some to grab food and bring it back. So I set off to the Studio Catering Company with Merranda and Veronica. Except when we got there it still wasn't open.

Marie didn't really feel like waiting to get a bad view of the motorcade and no one else was that excited about it, so I texted her and suggested that we all just rest for a little while and get food when it became available.

NpKP3gy.jpg

Hence, chilling.

C0CyHaI.jpg

And a little snacking.

KqjU5oA.jpg

Everyone went to get food except me. Marie went to grab for the both of us while I saved the table.

QWfHP0Q.jpg

This is Merranda's (terrible picture alert) she got a kid's meal with chicken nuggets, a cookie, and apples along with the Darth Vader cupcake and apple juice.

GJNQxKr.jpg

This is Traci's. She had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich.

qO053UL.jpg

Here is my kid's meal of chicken nuggets, complete with apples, a cookie, water, and of course vanilla cake.

hCCgk5C.jpg

Marie had the Chicken Caesar Wrap with fries, lemonade and vanilla cake.

IR3Stsu.jpg

Veronica got off the kids menu too with the half vegetable sandwich, applesauce, a cookie and apple juice.

PtFmhCw.jpg

Eli also got some chicken nuggets and fries from the kid's menu.

Once we'd finished that we decided that we'd go ahead and make our way to Darth's Mall.

Along the way, however, we ran into Darth Maul. (Coincidence?)

vl44UHd.jpg

lDEk3rn.jpg

And he really got into Traci's face. He was literally like an inch from it at one point, but I wasn't quick enough to capture it. I do quite like this picture though.

Day 6, Part 3: "I want to meet Darth Goofy!"

After our brush with Darth Maul, we did head into the line for Darth's Mall.

ygR7q78.jpg

The line wasn't too bad at that point and I think we got in fairly quickly.

lq8I9kh.jpg

At least there was some interesting things to look at.

When entering we saw Goofy and Donald meeting, so we went ahead and got in line for that.

AN7RyyM.jpg

This is what the inside looks like, in case you didn't know.

87CXBx2.jpg

There was a lengthy debate about if there was someone inside amongst the group, but ultimately we agreed there was not.

oxqxuGC.jpg

Not long after getting in line Donald and Goofy left and were replaced by Minnie and Mickey.

That was not who I wanted to meet. Most of the group saw it as an improvement, but Traci and I were really hoping for Donald and Goofy. So we decided that we'd split when the time came and Traci and I would stay in line until Goofy and Donald came back out because they would be there not long afterward.

FidSQA8.jpg

When we reached the front of the line Merranda, Veronica, Eli and Marie went on to meet the jedi and the princess, while Traci and I watched.

BmFEh4s.jpg

They were all pretty happy.

I think Traci and I only had to let three groups pass us before Goofy and Donald came back out and we were able to meet them.

Traci commented on Goofy's boxers and this photo was the result, which is one of my favorites of the photopass pictures of the trip.

After that we decided to do some shopping. Since we knew people would be finishing at different times we agreed to meet outside when we were finished. Eli finished first and then I wasn't too far behind, nor was Traci.

Pretty much everyone got something, including Marie getting a towel for her parents. Merranda also got a dress that you'll see later in the report.

What was the big expense for Marie and I though?

What? We like the pins.

Traci bought this shirt that I wanted to buy. However there were none left in my size and I didn't want to bother anyone to check for them.

During this time I also bought a strawberry daiquiri but I have zero pictures of it. Oh well.

Bad fountain picture because why not?

We thought about going to meet Mike and Sulley.

But this was the line and we were not feeling it.

We also documented the line for Darth Vader.

Right after that we saw him walking by and I was proud of the picture I achieved with minimal stalking.

Which, this reminds me, when I was waiting in line for my daiquiri this guy in front of me has a lady come up to him and is like, "Look at this picture I got of Darth Vader!" and he's like, "How'd you get that when you were supposed to be watching the kids?" and she goes, "Oh, I just left them by themselves for a couple of minutes."

He wasn't too pleased and I could understand why. It was pretty awkward.

Since we were looking for something to do we decided to go to the Backlot Tour. The wait times everywhere were pretty insane so we didn't think it was a bad idea since the wait time was like 15 minutes or something. (RIP Backlot Tour, I'm glad we got people to experience you)

When we were finished we spent a little time walking through the gallery at the end and just looking around to kill some time before our next FP.

bummer about not getting to see the motorcade - in a vacuum 45 mins seems like it should be plenty of time to get decent seats for a parade ... but I guess SWW does not exist in a vacuum

seems like pretty good food selections and that kids veggie sandwich looks pretty legit!

"oh, I just left them along for a while" ... she could of at least gotten creative and said she traded them to the Jawas

Very fun picture with Darth Goofy and great picture with Darth Maul as well!

I love the pins with the Star Wards characters riding the different rides ... "A Small World After All, It Is" :rotfl2:

Wow, I realize that I don't think I've ever met a Toy Story character. Probably because the line is often long, but still. Not good. Ya'll got some great queue line photos. Nice of you to be courteous of your fellow line walkers too.

I guess that's one benefit I've had with characters for the most part. Party of one please.

Ugh DHS and their weird food schedules.

OK THAT is freaking cool to come upon Darth Maul like that. I imagine his waits are pretty long so super bonus. And he does do menacing really well.

I don't know, Star Wars Mickey and Minnie is pretty good, but it is hard to skip underwear Goofy. And I live Goofy. But what is Donald doing that picture? It looks like he's writing on your back.

Aww Sweet, Vader picture too!!!

"Oh, I just left them by themselves for a couple of minutes." That makes my blood boil.

Looks like you guys had a really good time at Star Wars weekend!

I've always wanted to go, despite having never seen the movies, experience some #bomb.com merch/pins, and meet the charcters and have a darth vader cupcake.

Aww, I love the photos with Buzz and Woody! The last time I went to DHS, I was solo for the part of the day that I met them. I just knew I had to ge in line to meet them, even though the line was 45 minutes long. Unfortunately, because I was solo, I didn't get to take photos at the cool photo-ops in the queue :( Woody, Buzz and I still had fun regardless, however :)

The food looked pretty good! My DHS lunch included pizza and a cookie from pizza planet. Big mistake on my part

Definitely a frustrating situation re: Woody and Buzz but I'm glad you guys made up quickly!

LOVE the deadpan RnRC pics!

The Woody and Buzz queue pics are great too.

DHS quick service is so frustrating. We always want to eat early lunches when we're there and it's never possible.

I'm not that into Star Wars but I have always wanted that Darth Vader cupcake! Looks so good.

HAAA I love Goofy's boxers. Totally can see why you waited.

It turned out fine. I think everyone was relieved because it was also so hot that standing in the sun for the parade wasn't something anyone was interested in.

It was legit, Veronica definitely enjoyed it. My chicken nuggets were a bit meh but oh well.

Seems creativity and responsibility are things she both lacks? :confused3

It was a good picture day.

They are awesome. I love the Haunted Mansion one too. Marie and I split them and she got the IASW and TSMM pins and I got the POTC and HM ones. :thumbsup2

None? Not even Buzz over by his ride? That's surprising. You should get on that ::yes::

It was fine, I don't think anyone minded too much, like we were just having a good time.

:confused3 I don't get their food schedules but I don't like them either.

We were all surprised and Traci was just like laughing when he got in her face, which he didn't seem to appreciate.

Yeah I liked the bad guys a bit better :thumbsup2 I think he's pointing and laughing if I remember correctly.

That lady. I get why the guy was mad but it was sooo uncomfortable to be there while someone else gets mad. Makes me feel even worse for the drama that is still to take place and those who witnessed it without being involved.
