Another Stitch alarm woke us up this morning. I wish they would change it, it's so annoying
Caught the boat to MK and then the monorail round to the Poly for breakfast at O'hana. We checked in and got our leis and a pager and sat down among the sea of hungry bright yellow leis awaiting breakfast. 25 mins later our pager finally buzzed and we were taken to a table near the window. Drinks and fruit arrived quickly followed by a platter of breakfast items:
The food was good, we ate all the fruit and most of the platter. The sausage was very spicy and I didn't eat mine. We were offered more food but declined. Yet again we were full to bursting and waddled out of O'hana with tight waist bands and pictures of us with Lilo, Stitch and Mickey. We took the boat back to MK and strolled around the park to walk brekkie off. Lines for the main rides were quite long so we rode IASW again and got fastpasses for Pooh. We rode the boat back to VWL to have a swim and get changed for dinner.
We arrived back and got our cossies on only to find the villas hot tub was broken

We went round to sit in the ones by the geyser but they were quite busy so we didn't stay too long. Had a go on the slide and a swim about and started the trek back to our room to get a shower.
We walked from WL to Fort Wilderness as we really enjoyed it last time we did it. Dusk was a great time to take a walk as all the animals were coming out to play. If you stay at either WL or FW I highly recommend this walk. Wildlife count: bunnies 6, lizards 8, ducks 2, butterflies 3, deer 4 and bonus:
. A baby armadillo!

so cute!
Off to Narcoosee's for dinner. Took a boat to Contemporary as it came first then then the monorail round to GF. Had a look at the nice new Basin (I think) shop but DH wouldn't let me buy anything

He said I have a cupboard full at home so NO MORE until it is used

Maybe have to sneak to DTD and get some from there. Love the GF lobby, the pianist was playing and people were sat around listening, nice atmosphere. We ambled across to Narcoosee's and were seated straight away. The menu wasn't the best, this was a treat for DH - I hate fish and seafood
The appys didn't appeal to me much I chose a duck spring roll:
.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I'm not a duck fan (I prefer live ones) but this was good. DH chose a salad of heirloom tomatoes:
The pile of white stuff did appear to be cream, neither of us could tell what it was. It did taste like cream but what that is doing with a salad I have no idea
Entrees - I chose a steak as everything else was a sea creature blech.
It was good but not the best I have ever had. The potato was nice and quite peppery, veg was veg cooked well.
DH had the same with a lobster add on:
The lobster smell was horrid. I hate any sea creature prepared as food, it is just wrong, wrong, WRONG!
Dessert time. I chose the YOAMD cheesecake which was excellent. Very rich and creamy and not artificial tasting.
DH chose strawberry shortcake as he is not an almond fan
He said it was just ok. I think he was expecting shortbread rather than spongecake.
We watched Wishes while we were eating dessert. Fireworks don't really do it for us and we wouldn't stand around waiting for them but it was nice to see them while we ate dinner. I was so full that MK again wasnt going to happen for me, we shared a boat to Contemporary and DH went back to MK for a while, I went back to the room for some rest. While I waited for the boat the Electrical Water Pageant went past which was a nice bonus.
DH arrived back at the room 2 hours behind me. He had been on BTMRR and Splash in that time. I had had an hour of peace to watch the telly (on something other than the flippin weather channel).
