I am very impressed with HIFS Customer Service

I stayed at the HIFS for 12 nights in August. Overall we were very happy with our stay but there were two small incidents that I noted on the survey. I was not expecting to be compensated in any way, shape or form. I was just being honest. The first issue was that housekeeping missed our room twice. The second issue was that, during a fire alarm, no one ever came to tell us what was going on or if it was ok to return to our rooms. Two very minor issues in my mind.

A couple of weeks ago, we got a call from a manager to apologize for the two days that we didn't get maid service. He sent us a certificate for 10% off our next stay.

Today, we just got another call from a different manager to apologize about no one coming out during the fire alarm. They are going to credit 10,000 points to my Priority Club account.

Now that is how you build customer loyalty.
 
That is great to hear that they acknowledged the items you pointed out. I know the board at the HIFS site seems to have more negative then good but it really does look like that is turning around. I am especially glad to hear that they contacted you about the fire alarm and I hope that they will be more aware of that issue in the future.

We will be staying at HIFS in January and I tell everyone about the awesome 3-room suite we booked at such a super rate and they can't believe it.
