I am trying my hardest to surprise my dd~

Three weeks ago I booked our trip and scheduled all of our adrs and bbb w/ the best of luck needless to say I have been overly excited. Two months from today will be our first day in disney and I want it to hurry and get here but at the same time I don't want it to be over. I am also really looking forward to this trip b/c it will be a lot of firsts for us (you may have seen my other posts on the restaurant and resorts boards). We are going 12/18-24 and staying at AKL (first time staying here), I was able to make all of my ressies the first time I called w/out having to change any dates or times or locations and almost all of them are firsts, I was able to get a good bbb appt on the day of the party we are doing. With all of the excitment I can barely contain myself. Oh did I mention we are doing the CP dinner w/ abigail breslin.

If anyone is going to be in disney 12/28-24 we will be at AKL (as mentioned before)
we are eating at these places so if you are there during our trip feel free to say high we will be the only dinners in restaurants w/ a stroller for dd5.

12/19 crystal palace 11.30, BBB 1.10, MVMCP 7 (first time eating here)
12/20 brown derby 4.30 (first time eating here)
12/21 marrakesh 3.30 cp 6.45 (first time eating here)
12/22 Jiko 5.40 (first time eating here)
12/23 boma 7.40am (first time eating breakfast here)
12/24 chef mickey's 7.40am (this is our favorite and it is going to make our trip the best since we are eating here on xmas eve)

as of right now it will be the girls and I and my MIL we are waiting to find out if dh will be home from work so that he can go w/ us.

BTW~ I haven't been able to surprise Juliette w/ any of our other trips and I trying so hard this time. What are you secrets for not spilling.

Try so hard to keep it to yourself!!! I suprised DD in September, and it was just the best thing ever. I had to talk about Disney with her, so I told her we might schedule a trip for next April, and what would she want to do if we went. She totally bought it.
I ordered M&M's that said "Suprise! We're going to Disney!" on them. They didn't go over so well since I left them at home. I told DD we were flying to NYC to see a show, even though we live about 2 hours away. I had planned on telling her on the plane, possibly getting the flight attendant to tell her they couldnt land in NY and would she mind going to Disney instead. In line at the airport everyone seemed to feel the need to announce they were going to Orlando. Seriously, they were all shouting, "Is this the line for the flight to Orlando?!" I just looked at her and told her we couldn't fly to Ny from Philly, it just wasn't possible. ( she wanted to see The Little Mermaid on Broadway) Then I asked her if she minded if we went to Disney instead. The look on her face was priceless, and she said it was the best trip she's ever been on. I didn't tell her about any of our ADR's until we were on the plane, and every day she bounced up and down and asked me to tell her all about what I had planned.

When I was 13 my parents tried to surprise my brother and I with a trip to Disneyland. I was nosey and was able to find out ahead of time but I was able to keep the secret from my younger brother.

It was very difficult for me because I was and still am very close to my little bro and I am not the best secret keeper. The excitment of keeping the secret and wanting to see my brother's reaction was the only reason I kept my giantic yap shut. The only advice I have is to keep busy so time will go by fast.
