A confession - I cruised on the 3 night Wonder in December 2000. I was really excited about cruising DIsney style. I looked forward to it for about six months. I don't think I set myself up for a let down, but when I got off the ship, I told myself it would be a long time before I did DCL again, if ever. I was very dissapointed in the quality of the food, our servers acted as though they we doing us a huge favor by showing up with our food, they never checked on our table during dinner except to take orders and bring the food. I just came off it feeling like DCL needed some big time Disney Customer Service training.
So now here it is 2004. Last week, I booked the 14 night Ca to FL repositioning cruise. And I am getting very excited about it. I have been reading the Navigators, I have been reading the DCL web site, I just feel the "I can't wait for it to get here" feeling inside me. I will be sailing solo, I think that is one reason that I decided to try DCL again, I know that I will not be "alone" with all the Disers that will also be on the ship. I have always wanted to sail alone, so why not cruise number 13?
I hope I can keep the excitement toned down to a managable level till at least next July. And I am really hoping that this will be a better cruise.
Bon Voyage.
