I am spreading the news!

I agree. Best sandals I've ever had! I got tired of having to wear running shoes and socks in the blazing heat, but all of my flip flops hurt my feet. (Heehee...that rhymes). So, I went to my local Fleet Feet and asked for a recommendation. Life changing!

Orthaheels are the best! :thumbsup2

I buy a new pair every summer. Sometimes 2. Okay, I bought 3 pairs this year! :rotfl: I just love the fact that I can wear a stylish sandal again! I even wear one pair as my "summer slippers" because I can't even go barefoot in the house. My feet are that flat! I love my Lola's so much that I bought them in two colors.

I still take my New Balance 587 sneakers to Disney so that I can alternate shoes, but the Orthaheels are so comfortable for walking that I almost always end up leaving the sneakers in the suitcase.

I thought I was taking a chance I am so happy I hit the enter button on the computer when I had to pay.

My feet were hurting so bad that I also bought a pr of Brooks at my local running store. I live in Fl and the sneakers are ok for inside the house but when you are outside they get to be unbearable.

Marionnette I have bought 3 prs so far withen 2 wks. :rotfl:

I love Orthaheels. I have their flip flops (great!) and their slippers. I never thought I would spend $60 on slippers, but my feet were hurting so badly that I had to do something. I wore them for 2 days then went ahead and threw all my old slippers away. They are amazing. Lots of support. I've been wearing them for 2 months now, they look, feel (and smell!!!) great!

I also bought some Abeo sandals to wear for the summer. We were in WDW for 9 days; I wore them 6 out of 9 park days - the other 3 days I wore my Brooks sneakers. No foot pain whatsoever.

I guess I should note that I have plantar fasciitis. I now own about 4-5 pair of shoes that I can wear without foot pain. So all my other shoes are going into the consignment sales, or else charity shops. (So far I've found that Sanitas clogs, Abeo sandals, Brooks sneakers, and Orthaheel flip flops and slippers work for me).

okay, my teva mush (original) failed miserably when I wore them in wdw a couple of weeks ago, so, can anyone tell me if the orthaheels are true to size? or do they run small?

I order a half size down from my dress shoes and a full size down from my sneakers. It's my experience that they actually run a little bit big.

I also would like to know if they run wide, I have seen them on QVC and would love to have a pair, but my feet are so wide I am afraid they won't fit.

If you wear a wide width, then order them in wide. I wear a medium width shoe and my feet fit fine in a medium Orthaheel. Someone with a wide foot would definitely hang over the sides.

I was just checking them out and saw they have mens sizes, I think I will order the mens flip flop just to be safe. I got a special offer from qvc for a 5 easy pay on any $50 order so that plus free shipping makes me want to get them even more.

Just wondering cause I have never heard of these shoes. Is there any model in particular that is better for Disney and all the walking?

I normally wear my sneakers but would love to be able to wear a sandal. I can't wear totally flat shoes.

Thanks.

SAUCYMB, I also have been recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I have been in so much pain that until yesterday I thought I would never get any relief from the pain. As soon as I put these on I felt that my feet were getting a massage.

For those asking about shoe size I was just fitted for Brooks by a "professional shoe fitter" :confused3. I was sized a wide 9. I purchased the orthaheel in a regular size 8 and they fit perfect.

MOMMAOfPRINCESS, I think it was your topic that I read about orthaheel, thank you posting!

I had major ankle and tendon reconstruction in 2009. Orthatheals were the only shoe I could wear for a year post surgery, everything else hurt my heal and arch too much. I now also live in Alegria's. I have yet to find a comfy sneaker other than the orthaheal brand as well. I have their sandals, flip flops, mary janes and sneakers. I have 3 pairs of Alegria's as well.

They cost more, but are soooo worth it.

They remind me of my croc capri flip flops.

Does anyone have those and these to compare. (of course I just bought 2 new pairs of crocs and don't need more new flips) I would be interested to see if they have similar support. The crocs do not come in wide, and I have wide feet and they do fit but a little extra room might be nice.

I had achilles surgery so i was unable to wear any flips till I found the capris so I'd be open to another brand if they were similar.

I've been wearing the New Balance 860's and they also have casual and sandels under thier Aravon and Cobb Hill brands. I've so far had zero problems with any of them and they come in wides.

I love crocs for Disney too, but, now am intrigued by these. Maybe I will buy on Zappos so I can send back if I don't like them:)

I just ordered a pair from 6pm but they only had an 8 and I'm usually a 7-7.5 but an 8 in the Teva Mush. I guess they will be going back I was hoping they ran small. $27.99 was a great price so I thought I'd try them.

Okay, so my sketchers sneakers are an 8 1/2, and my teva mush flip flops are a size 9. So I should order a size 7 1/2 in the orthaheels?
