I am SOOOO excited!

I booked my airfare and car rental today for our December trip. I got an Intermediate car for 6 days from National for $163. And managed to get round trip tickets on Delta for $175 a person. My trip is 7 months away, but I am so excited because I feel like I finally have most everything in place.

I ordered MVMCP tickets on 5/1 (just waiting on them to come in the mail). I have PS for LTT for 12/17. And NOW I have my airfare and car rental. The only major hurdle is my resort room reservation.

I want to stay at the Wilderness Lodge. I have read on these boards that their Christmas decorations are some of the best. But I am unsure what to do. I want AP discounts for those rooms. So I don't want to book now. I don't want Disney to see it so booked that they don't offer discounts. But I want to make sure I get a room. What to do, what to do? I will probably wait a few more weeks (if my nerves can stand it) and hope some form of discount comes out before I book.

Oh well, I am to excited to worry about that right now. I can't believe I am finally going at Christmas time. Having the airfare booked really seems to make it real.

You can book now and apply your AP discount later when it comes out. That's how we do it. Don't you feel like jumping up and down because you just booked a trip?

I tried booking the Wilderness Lodge for December 16th til the 27th a couple of months ago. The key word being TRIED Wasn't able to get it. Even tried splitting up the dates. I had a VERY nice CM. Things could have opened up, or changed, but I wouldn't wait around to book it.

Good luck! We are staying at BEach Club instead. Mybe we will see you there! Haven't even begun to think about MVMCP yet. I think there is one the 16th, if there is, that is the one we are aiming for.

WOW another louisiana family traveling home for christmas.

We are from Ponchatoula and will be at WDW dec 6-12.

YOU WILL LOVE THE WL if you can get it. It is our favorite resort by far and I wish we were staying there this year. BUT believe it or not my wife wants to stay at POFQ... I told her we can drive 30 min to NO and have the same stay (YEAH RIGHT, that was just me trying to get her to book WL instead.)

Oh well I hope yall get WL. If you do you will never want to leave. Take it from a WL-Vet
