I was in the game this morning at 10:01 and went straight to the Jungle Criuise to try and win a tent room....


IT was 10:01 and the lowest high score was 16,000+ HOW in the Hedblhockeysticks could anyone have completed a game in less than 1 minute and already be on the leader board??????????

Of course my first round the game froze on me but I still came in with over 18,000+ but no room then my next game completed it at 10:10 and with a score of 23,000+ still was not enough to win the room scores now at 26,000+.


I just do not get it! There is just no way to complete JC in under a minute!

this is very nice of you all, but it still doesnt solve the issue at hand. That there are people out there "culling" the top scores, usually with their mules as well. When I started JC this morning, the lowest high was only 12,000 and I got 29,000 - of course, I didnt get a high either look at the names of the high scores, they are almost always the same. This is really called not giving anyone else a chance. And that drives me batty, that is absolutely ruining the spirit of the game

Pointers for getting top score

1. Do not move the boat unless you have to. (I noticed that it I am Nedding and I don't touch the computer, my boat will go around once all by itself AND get to the starting point again and still have 90 gas 'til it leaves the screen.)

2. Don't try for flawless. Even just a bit of animal in the picture gets the points.

3. On the 2nd round and 3rd rounds, do not leave the screens right away. Wait for animals to stop popping up.

4. You can miss the film twice, but don't miss the gas ever.

I had the same plan this morning. And when I finished at 10:06 my score was 33k but I didn't get the room either. I got 100 credits for being in the top 10. However, the high score was only 24k or 26k! Even when I checked back later, my score was still higher than the top they posted!

And the worst part is this isn't the first time it's happened. I've been trying off & on for a week! Each time I get 100 credits (not that I mind the credits ) but never the room. The only times I've ever gotten the room was in the beginning when the links weren't working.

I am not upset that the same people are getting in the top 10 I was upset that at 10:01 there were already top 10 scores...now I do not beleive that anyone can finish that game in less than at least 3 minutes and get a top 10 score.

Am I wrong on this and you can do it?


I am not upset anymore since I will be getting this room....but am still curious as to how that happens.

It's my understanding that your character can only get the room once. Each subsequent top ten gets you the 100 points.

Well, I said "I" but I don't know which instance of "me" was actually in the game at the time. However, I'm sure it wasn't the person I was playing the morning.

Besides, that's not always true - could be a "bug" I don't know. I have several wristband codes here all from the same character.

And as far as people finishing in a minute - not possible! Even if they're just Nedding & have 0 pts! I can sit here refreshing my page continually at 9:59 & by the time I'm actually at the first map my clock says 10:01. And I have a fast computer with DSL.

I can normally make it into the top ten scores but I have been waiting later in the day to give ppl a chance before I play. I only do it for the credits since you can only get the tent code once per character.

DocHT had some really great tips on this game which I followed to improve my score.

Don't go for the Flawless score~go for the "ok" score. Believe or not your score will be much higher at the end of the game. I did not believe it until I saw it. Also, the better you center your picture for that ok score, the higher the score will be.

Don't hit anything in the first round, that way you will have plenty of gas.

In the second and third round, use the back up button to stay in the room longer, animals show up very late and you could miss a lot of points if you leave early.

These are all DocHt's tips, a regular high scorer for this game. I have yet to break 63, 000 which is my goal but I am working on it.

As to how the scores could be set so early, I do find that sometimes they are not reset right in the morning but sometime a little after. It doesn't happen every day but it does happen.

I just want to clear this up, because I didn't know this is how it worked. You only get the tent coupon if you are the #1 score? If thats true then I'm totally shocked that I've gotten it twice on two different characters. I always assumed that you got the coupon once for being in top ten, no matter what place.

BTW, piratesmate, you can only win the tent room once per character. After that it is only 100 points. Sorry your link didn't work, but in VMK's eyes that was your one room. I hope you sent them a message that your pdf didn't work. If you did, what did they do for you? I know that same thing has happened to others.

See that was the whole point of this thread how could anyone have highscores like they did this morning at 10:01 !!!!!

Oh and my computer is set on VMK time when it is 10 am it is 10am VMK on my computer unless they opened early this morning!

The 10:01 baffles me. Twice I was able to get into VMK before official start time. But only by 45 seconds, and this morning was one of those mornings. And it takes a good 10 minutes or so to play jungle cruise. So no way to get it that fast.
